  1. If he really was the one who kicked off the table smashing, then I greatly value his contributions to the community.
  2. Fire away! https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/09/18/josh-allen-buffalo-bills-rookie-starting-quarterback
  3. Last year, they had 12 players that were drafted. In the years prior, it was 10, 7, 7, 8 and 9 At any given time, they have 25-30 "NFL potential" players on the roster.
  4. Alabama had 12 players selected in the 2018 draft, that was 5 more than any other school. They had 3 top 15 picks on defense. The biggest challenge will be line play. A talented OL/DL from the NFL would steamroll most NCAA guys. I don't think it would be a 47-3 blowout, but no, Alabama could not beat the worst NFL team.
  5. I'm sure it helped, but the KC situation is going to be damn near impossible to replicate. Mahomes got to sit an entire season behind a very competent veteran. He has a head coach with an extremely impressive resume of developing QBs and playcalling. He has top tier playmakers at WR, TE and RB. His OL is quite good. Right now, Allen has none of that.
  6. His best shot at being successful will be by surrounding him with talent, either along the line or with offensive playmakers, and creating a favorable scheme for his abilities. If Allen busts, it will not be because he didn't have a veteran QB to show him the way.
  7. Yeah, because the Chargers were on cruise control. We need to score a TD before we're down by 20+
  8. The future is @ Minnesota. That's the type of game that can create scar tissue for a young QB.
  9. Rough game. Hard to get amped when it's 28-6 at halftime and he throws his first TD with 50 seconds left. You see the physical traits, but he's sloppy, indecisive and spotty with his accuracy. Pretty much the book on the guy coming out of WY. You should surround a young QB with a strong OL, playmakers at skill positions or a stout defense. It sucks that we don't have any of those to help to him out. Man, it might get real ugly in Minnesota next week.
  10. We've been freaking out for months about Allen's 56% completion in college. Tebow has put up 48% in the NFL. How's that one going to go over?
  11. He had this great take, hysterical! Rodger Sherman‏Verified account @rodger_sherman My scouting report on Christian Hackenberg STRENGTHS tall, looks like a QB WEAKNESSES throwing footballs, pocket awareness, playing QB
  12. The trade ups don't bother me at all. Both prices were reasonable considering the targets. If both guys are Pro Bowl caliber, it's a non issue. I think Edmunds will get there, but I have my concerns about Allen. The concerns about the OL, QB room, Mcdermott's vision, playmakers on offense, dead money, soft defense, etc. are all fair until proven otherwise.
  13. There is never a perfect time to play a young QB. You'll always have holes somewhere on the OL, not enough playmakers on the outside, an inconsistent running attack, questionable scheme, etc.
  14. We gave up a future HOF player at the second most critical position on offense. We got a good player in return, but yeah, we lost that deal. Shouldn't have moved Darby either. Great CB.
  15. He's a great GM. Those free agency additions over the years were far more impact than any draft pick of his, outside of Von.
  16. LOL. It's always silly trying to understand these NFL money issues. Joe Fan isn't going to sympathize with players whining about making $14 million instead of $17.
