Every pre draft scouting report mentions his athletic ability and that he could run in the NFL Sure he got faster but thats the job of a professional.. he didn't magically become gifted running tho .. and if memory serves he worked with Flaherty pre combine too He always had it ... 200 yards rushing in a juco game is insane from the QB spot.. he just needed some training

Yes I made a thread here when we drafted Allen saying his rookie season the thing that's going to save him and surprise us most are his legs I knew he would be a huge running threat cuz when he got moving he's literally like a tight end down field.. hard to stop

I would break this down to a few things First some players play faster than their 40 time.. the juice and adrenaline of a game hype you up Second the offenses that Josh and Lamar Jackson were running were completely different.. Lamar got the benefit from a college offense that ran a spread option Josh was also under center a lot more which makes it harder to run effectively... They weren't running standard read options like is typical in college ball On the flip side.. Josh Allen's JUCO rushing stats were amazing In 8 starts he had 660 yards and 10 TDs 5.5 average

The problem with this is you need to get in third and medium or longer to really show this and execute it properly If you could stay in third and relatively short or just move the chains consistently on the first two downs you can't bring that out

I've explained this a thousand times why we're never going to get a dome and why it's not bad for us outside First of all we have a quarterback who will outplay the other team's quarterback 95% of times in adverse weather.. his dual threat abilities make him almost unstoppable Second.. a dome will just allow lesser quarterbacks to come here in the playoffs and have a great game and steal a victory.. the only fact is there's a lot of talented NFL quarterbacks and they could play the game of their life in that dome.. The chances of them coming to the Ralph in January in not good conditions and playing a great game... Are slim to none It's not about helping us it's about hurting them a lot more.. which is statistically proven by our 11 and 1 home record at the Ralph

Allen has had good games in adverse weather He hit stefon diggs 60 yards down the field in 50 mph winds.. no quarterback alive could do that besides him There's not a lot of large stadium events going on pre-covid either There's a huge difference between selling out an arena like first Niagara and A stadium like the Ralph
