  1. Honestly it is speeding so it's obviously not murder But I can tell you right now I've never gone 110 mph .. and it's not because I'm soft It's because it's a fatal speed and you don't need to be doing that.. 15 mph over the speed limit is even a lot on the Thruway So I definitely don't judge you because all my friends drive that fast.. but he's also a new NFL quarterback and you're not.. so it's a bad look for him who's supposed to be a leader
  2. I do really like keons potential and his athletic traits I think he's with a good staff and QB who can bring him along and I think he will be a solid receiver and if he can get 7-8 TDs that would be huge
  3. So what about lane Johnson his early career? Way higher draft pick.. struggled pass blocking Didn't have good grades as a rookie... gave up lots of sacks It's not like Lane Johnson was an 85 grade rookie.. he barely had a better grade than Spencer Brown his rookie year and is coming off a back injury And pff is still subjective.. they don't know blocking assignments and they're not foolproof I'd still rather use my eyes and my eyes shows Spencer Brown has been drastically improving for a while
  4. Dude he was not one of the worst in the league.. he was good enough to start on a playoff team There's plenty of right tackles who are second and third stringers who couldn't even hold a jock to Spencer Brown three years ago.. yeah he was not a great starter 3 years ago, but he still showed a lot of promise when he dominated reps He had reps he dominated Lane Johnson wasn't amazing his rookie year.. struggled pass blocking for a few.. it took him a while to put it all together and he was a Top pick So I guess that means Lane Johnson was also terrible using your metric gave up like 10 sacks
  5. He was a raw offensive lineman coming off of back injuries Plenty of good offensive lineman take 2-3 years to develop .. plenty The fact you're talking about literally possibly his first 10 15 20 starts of course he had a lot to acclimate to He had bad raps, but when he had good reps his reps were very good Sorry bro he's always been improving on a week-to-week basis basically over his entire career.. and had a bad back injury that he had to work through But plenty of linemen take two or three years to develop so I don't care what he looked like in his 10th start because when he had good reps he dominated.. he had a lot to adjust to and grow which is why the bills gave him 3 years to do that Like if he was a complete player he would have went top 15.. he needed time to grow the bills gave it to him and now he is one of the best But I saw that a long time ago
  6. Absolutely one of the times were patience was needed and the bills reap rewards He's like Goliath out there with his height and tenacity! I wouldn't want to get him angry
  7. Spencer Brown was never as bad as what some people made out to be Maybe his first couple starts ever His arrow was pointing very high up for so long that before the last season I literally called him a future All pro breakout player .. he's consistently been improving throughout his career And I wasn't talking out of my butt I saw him the last 16 months turning a page and he is absolutely going to be one of the best 3 right tackles .. probably already between 3-5 Even in the 2023 season all the signs were there Tackles don't even peek til 28 29 30 years old.. Dion Dawkins is still improving at 30
  8. Because like a bunt In baseball it's becoming a lost skill Punters used to value hang time and accuracy as much as distance... Now distance is King And coaches think they can teach hang time and accuracy more easy but hang time is tough to master
  9. Yea they had a handful of us teams that folded In their expansion days
  10. With Josh and our offense hopefully u new kid has good hang time We don't need 65 yards boots usually... We need 45 with good hang time and backspin
  11. Andy Reid got fired because he got pegged as the guy who couldn't win the big one He had absolutely insane rosters for years which were absolutely good enough to win the super bowls and he didn't which is why he was fired Players and coaches grow... Andy Reid is not foolproof.. I have seen him get out coached with my own eyes before
  12. It's tough because general managers have to balance what you already are, versus what you can or will become the growth of all players is not the same... And some come into the league with their body and their skills closer to maxed.. which is good for instant production, but typically plateaus Then you get players, who have raw unrefined skills with talent ... And it might take those players till year 2-3 to physically catch up with the game but they have more potential Then obviously the players there's the few players who come in with the correct body, the right type of skills and athleticism with a high level of production.. and those guys don't get out of the top 5-10
  13. You could say whatever you want about his timed 40 time But he was the starting punt returner at Florida State... Schools like Florida State put their best athlete back there not guys who are in quicksand They put explosive guys who can break tackles and make people miss Then you see his explosion in the basketball game and you could see he is a very good athlete... He has a lot of explosion which will help his football game He has a lot of room to grow and become a really good football player
  14. You basically hit the nail on the head beck To gain McDermott's trust it's not about your actual physical skill on the football field.. his defense, like Bill belichick requires football players have it above the shoulders His combination his zone match system is not TaylorMade for non-heady football players If Sean has 35 rules that dictate your responsibility .. you can't half ass it and get by only being sound in 20 of them... You're going to leave a lot of your own players out to dry His linebackers he gives more freedom to and they actually are slightly more read and attack which is why I actually am pretty high on Dorian Williams and I would try to resign him He hits like a hammer and I think his arrow is squarely up The defensive back side is even more mental.. both of our All pro safeties with poyer and hyde were not off the charts athletically top tier for the NFL... They had enough athleticism.. but it was what they had upstairs that made them special and Sean's system where he could keep them interchangeable Same thing with Tre White.. his mental gifts were as good as his 20-yard burst.. his ability to see plays before they happened was as good as any athletic trait Which is why I like hairston a lot a lot If he stays healthy he has all the traits to be world-class in Sean's system
  15. To be fair I really have no opinion on hailee Steinfeld I don't watch her movies I don't listen to her music I wish them well and I'm sure she's a good woman but I don't even know of her well enough to admire her and I don't think that means I have big issues muppy
  16. @DC TomOmg he's like the Candyman.. or Boogeyman Or biggie smalls Or whoever the hell comes when you say his name in the mirror three times The man the myth the legend
  17. Off the top of my head I believe so I haven't checked the Panthers or Houston's record at the Ralph
  18. Yep 0-8 or something if I recall Shows you how tough it is to come into our Barn for any franchise
  19. Even the difference between a heavy man and a heavy zone covered scheme is not that much You're not talking 80% man 20% zone.. 20% zone 80% man Sean McDermott is one of the heaviest zone users in the NFL and we still play Man almost 40% of the time... And it jumps up significantly on third down No team in the NFL could survive playing 75% of zone or man coverage across the board all game any day.. when the game gets tighter Sean McDermott starts calling tighter man When it's third down and he needs a stop he's going cover one man
  20. Probably more like 7 ft 2 but I get your point
  21. You deserve it buddy
  22. Trust me he'll be with you when we win it all! But he'll also be watching it with van Miller and Ralph!
  23. 100% agree it's not even a thought I don't think I do it for $20,000
  24. Lmao yeah I could care less about $500 The only thing I truly want is my mother and father who have been watching since inception... And truly love the bills I just want them to see a championship before they go I want it for my mom and dad more than myself and I do want it My parents met at a random super bowl a long time ago and I think that's fate
  25. Yeah I know it's hundredths of a second.. the first is tenths the second is hundredths.. I don't know why I called it milliseconds just cuz I wrote a paragraph and I was tired Point stands 4.46 might not be blazing fast but it is not slow . . Especially when he came out.. he had some of the fastest burst in the NFL his closing speed was elite.. you say he wasn't quick but he absolutely had some of the best closing speed at cornerback in the NFL... That's why he all prod.. he can sit 7 yd off and jump routes with elite closing burst Odell Beckham ran a 4.46 and he's not slow.. it's not blazing fast for a 5'11 boundary corner in the modern NFL but it still is not slow.. xavian Howard ran a 4.56 barely 6'.. our own Christian Benford is in 4.5s I've seen Tre White run step for step down the boundary with Tyreek hill before.. step for step.. now it's totally okay to say he's lost a step but when he came into the league he did have elite burst closing on the football which made him special for those couple of seasons That is also very true but he also gets world class training and rehab... And you just need to keep your burst for 3 to 5 seconds per play Again I'm not saying he's as fast as he was coming out but I am absolutely sticking up for him and saying he was not slow coming out of college
