  1. I mean there's a lot of really good football players at UB.. it's a division 1 program for a reason And they've only been playing division one ball for 25 years... And they already have a top five draft pick... They get plenty of good football players that have the potential to play in the NFL There's usually 15 20 teams at their pro day
  2. It's easy to compare them based on their height and weight They do not play the same
  3. First of all I have watched every single game of Caleb Williams career including seeing him live in high school and live in college USC is not as talented as you made it out.. without him they would struggle to win for games it's not the same USC of old You say he regressed from his Junior to senior year but he's only been in college three seasons... So the fact he lit the world on fire as a true sophomore... It's kind of hard to elevate your game when the team around you isn't elevating ... He is USC... No quarterback can elevate aTeam that gives up 38 a game I could have told you the second he walked on campus at Oklahoma that he would have been the number one overall pick and he certainly didn't read half the field in Lincoln Riley's offense... He has some faults like every Young quarterback But he is easily one of the more polished quarterbacks with came out in the last 10 15 years... Definitely ahead of guys like Baker Mayfield and Josh Rosen and Josh Allen and Justin fields and CJ Stroud That doesn't mean he's going to become the best player in the world but he is very advanced for his age and certainly the mold of the modern prototypical playmaking quarterback He also plays stronger than Drake maye
  4. Very excited with the draft and I think Beane did a great job He lets the board fall to him and he has an eye for good football players... Vpg is a football player through and through You couldn't measure Matt milano's heart coming out
  5. Maye has way more to correct then Caleb Williams... Including a not perfect release and playing weaker in the pocket despite giving 20 lb to Caleb... There's a reason why the 6'2 220 lb quarterback went over the 6'4 235 lb guy The bigger guy has the look... But his faults do not bode well to the NFL unless he corrects a lot... Including a longer release, struggles under pressure and times gets lost with his reads Caleb Williams can go from his first to his fourth read.. is the strongest in the pocket in the draft.. super super plus arm with velocity and is a better athlete Maye didn't take the step this year that I thought he would... He's also very young and raw... He's a guy that is going to take 3 years but he does have a lot of talent
  6. Hahahah the rack! I have seen it around some of the seedier parts of one Bills drive 🤣 What also hurt his draft stock is that he is basically a center only... The bills and most of the NFL value position flexibility If you're a large guard who can play right tackle it's a boost... If you're an athletic big guard who could play center... It's boost If you can play left and right tackle it's a boost He is strictly a center... In the modern NFL that probably did push him down another round.. what I do like about him... Is that he is a very aggressive blocker... You can't teach aggression... It's a trait you have or don't
  7. His short arms and inconsistent ability to play with good technique are definitely his biggest flaws If the bills online coach can basically mold his technique over the next year... And get him into the weight room... I can see taking the next step at the NFL level But he needs to work on his technique and gain some Mass
  8. Yes the only thing that is giving vpg the leg up right now... Is that he has been playing strictly center and starting for years in the sec Which is AAA to the MLB... He has been groomed Now the flip side of the coin... Is that in the modern NFL.. it's physically tougher to play guard because they get more one-on-ones Center is mentally tougher... Centers can be smaller better athletes... Guards need to be big mauling athletes If McGovern has the mental aptitude to play center which he says he was being groomed for in Dallas... Then he physically is one of the bigger more athletic centers in the NFL Vpg while he might not have the mass of McGovern... Can use use his experience to mentally be a step ahead Does McGovern have the ability to still think like a center after not playing it for years? That can be the difference.. physically he should be very good
  9. Well to be fair the dream was probably gone after half a dozen concussions 5 years of college football and a blown ACL But my point stands that the 40-yard dash is a trained drill... Training with a sprinting coach for a year will vastly improve your time... The get off staying low and driving through your momentum instead of getting straight upright Football players with track experience excel in the drill... A football player with basketball experience like Coleman... He didn't have the right technique from the first 15 steps That will clearly hurt your time in a drill of inches and milliseconds But once he gets going his naturally long strides look like they would be great in a hundred meter dash... Which long speed also correlates to the NFL And he could use training to increase his quickness
  10. That is certainly possible and that would have to come down to McGovern being a distinct upgrade versus Edwards or Collins
  11. I can't wait to call my 75-year-old mother This is what she's been praying on
  12. Mike Tyson wanted to eat your children and he had a pretty successful boxing career
  13. I need a stretch forward for the Gus macker lol How tall are you and can you still rebound 🤣
  14. It honestly all comes down to training The training for the 40-yard dash has came down to an exact science... And you'll get more out of it with the most preparation TO is a notorious workout warrior who has never stopped training... It makes sense he can run off 4.44 forty even at his age but when he was coming out of college the science wasn't down to a T yet I'm nowhere near the athlete I was when I was 21 years old.. but I can still go to a training facility with 20-year-old athletes and clock 20 miles an hour with a 4.48 .. now I'm not Terrell Owens age but I'm not 21 But I'm not the same guy I was when I was 20 it's just I never stopped training and running
  15. I don't work with the bills so these are things that they're going to have to see themselves That is feasible I also think a guy like McGovern has been itching to play center for years.. he may come in and be better than Morse.. it's possible And you would think you could get a serviceable player out of Edwards/ Collins If those two arent feasible.. and vpg is playing well... Then that becomes actually likely I just can't see those two guys who are professional athletes battling for a starting spot.. not give you one good year.. sometimes a fire up your ass is what a pro needs
  16. That's a very good rebuttal And that is feasible.. I can see something like that happening But didn't Edwards start on a super bowl Rams team? Or was that the year before? Collins started with a pretty good career and has kind of fell short... But him and Edwards are basically getting the same guaranteed money If neither of them.. fit the actual bill at left guard.. and van pran Granger has been holding his own Then yes it can make sense to refill the left guard spot.. if vpg is able to play within the scheme fit next to McGovern and Torrence... But I do think a year of seasoning to correct his technique flaws could take him from good to very good
  17. Well, I don't sit here all day everyday and talk about everything I know about the sport.. but I've been posting here and on the old bbmb for 15 years And I played division one football... Have coached and scouted I'm still employed in the game of football.. and I have made plenty of scouting reports for people here that have asked for certain players He's a good football player at that round.. I would not bet on him out playing McGovern.. who has been waiting to be the linchpin of an NFL team
  18. As I've said multiple times... There is literally next to no chance.. a short-armed , smaller center who struggles with technique .. could beat out a NFL starter... With center experience in college... And is now one of the strongest biggest centers in the league It will be next to impossible to beat him out in 1 year... Maybe next season or the year after You're not unseating an the NFL veteran who is big for his position year 1... Who is starting quality
  19. Well to be fair the definition of sportsman is somebody who engages in sports... And it's actually used for hunters or fishers usually including in the definition If you're playing sports at 20 years old for a club.. I would call you a sportsman or an athlete or whatever you want to be called It certainly isn't playing t-ball at 5 years old... This is called a lottery pick... And professional coaches are professional for a reason.. they are trained to get the best out of people
  20. It turns out mkneese State might be the place for quadir lol I didn't realize wade was there and he probably gave him a bag with 300k cash and a ford explorer 🤣
  21. I love the honesty Reading I just get a little out of hand when I drink might be the best sentence I've ever read on the site I also get out of hand when I drink
  22. Didn't will Wade get investigated by the FBI LOL and fired from LSU for some sketchy stuff Doesn't surprise me he's getting good guy lol
