  1. OP: An indictment on TT... What? Cannot believe the "fanbase" on here has really gotten that rediculous. Hogan leaves and everyone throws a fit as he has nearly an identical year with Brady as he did with Taylor. Now we "lose" a guy that only had 10 catches last year despite a decimation at the position, and the sky is falling again... Must be a really rough life when tiny crap like this sends folks into a tizzy. Geez
  2. I thought you were going to say something crazy like Cutler or Jamaal Charles... ...but, yeah... ... I'm hoping for Brown back to. Seems to me like he fits the defense better than anyone else on the roster. We clearly need LB. I wonder if BUF doesn't want him back or if it's a $ thing.
  3. Trade up for a QB with a second round grade? Seems alot like reaching for EJ. We need to be smart at draft time. Can't fall in love with project QBs with real good players are left on the board. If you want a QB, you wait until round 2 and see who's left. None of these guys are a cut above the rest, so don't throw value out the window, along with a much safer elite prosect.
  4. That was quick. Maybe he made the switch last year and that's why he refused to tackle for the first 8 weeks.
  5. No doubt. What Whaley lacks in 1st round picks, he makes up for with FA steals and player trades. Good points. I fully expect to see a WR early in the draft, and probably another in the later rounds. I don't think many teams are happy with every position right now. And let not forget this draft is deep at both of our biggest needs (DB/WR).
  6. Ok Wr4 or WR5. As long as we didnt overpay, it's whatever. He's probably on par with Powell and Hunter.
  7. Well Rex would put up with players like Martavis, whereas I believe McCoach would believe he can fix these guys. Same idea bringing a maligned highly skilled player to the team, but a different approach. Personally I realize Bryant is a great talent and would love to have a player with his skills, but I question his ability to grow the heck up.
  8. Word for word he posted that same crap over at bbmb... Just looking for a reaction. Got me the first time. Not biting this time around. Trolls gotta troll.
  9. I see what you are doing here, Howard. Still keeping it alive 4 pages in. I find your brand of satire quite amusing. But nobody can knock you for not sticking to it. Just for the sake of the thread.... No, Brandon does not deserve any credit for anything positive done here. Any relative success was made despite him, not because of him. What he should do is write a book. There are tons of people out there who would greatly appreciate learning how to make a great, legal living on lies, deception, misdirection, brown-nosing, and incompetence (and he doesn't even work in government). He has wisdom to share with the useless (m)asses.
  10. That's not how it works, WIDE LEFT.... you see with those particular media types like Sully, you only bring up the stuff you got right. Don't attempt to insert logic, reason, or track record into this. Sully was right, because Patriots. When he said they would never give Gilly a big contract, he was right. But in the time since, master god Bellicheck has altered the rules of the universe, and now it is the right decision. Come on, WIDE LEFT, keep up.
  11. My thoughts exactly. Gonna take awhile but it's a legitimate fresh start.
  12. I never wanted to play pro sports... ...now I think maybe I should have considered it.
  13. I really expected AWill to retire anyway... Would have liked to keep Gilly but not for anything like that money. Genuinely bummed about Woods though. That guy will play for a long time.
  14. Yeah I would say I'm full scale Keanu from Point Break. Karma (or odds) just have to come around on these guys at some point. Post-Brady/Belly, I hope they 0-16 for a decade or so. Or at least win 6-8 games every year and wallow in mediocrity for a score of years.
  15. And Cleveland did last year. You just don't talk about it, but it really doesn't work that well in the NFL anyway.
  16. Yup, not surprised. Probably signed for 40 bucks, cool ranch doritos, and a TB12 Tshirt. #$!@&$@ scumbag Pats.
  17. I think after last year, the Bills will be leery of any wideout with an injury history. We are already married to Sammy, and we can't have games where our top 4-5 WRs are out. Marcus is such a "could have been" guy. Had the skills and "could have been" a great player, at WR even.... but had bad injury luck. I wish him the best, as he definitely left it all on the field.
  18. If the Bills and Sabres both never won a game again, I would still be happy with the Pegulas. Straight forward people with the best intentions. They open their wallets and trust their people. Not to mention what they have done for the city, especially given the alternatives (Bon Jovi or Trump, both of which likely comes with a move) Kraft however, well I wouldn't even shake that man's hand.
  19. Vic continues to throw crap at the wall. Nothing has managed to stick so far... ...but tomorrow is another day.
  20. I was ok with them keeping Taylor at the contract number he had. Now I'm quite happy to have 8 million more toward to cap. From what I understand he is now the lowest paid vet qb.... even heard this restructure described as "NE like". Hard to not like this deal.
  21. I totally agree with this... But on the other hand Baseball popularity has been falling like a rock for generations and boredom is probably why, so I'm not sure we should take cues from them. For the record: MLB is still the 2nd most popular sport in the USA (behind NFL), but it's lost more fans in the last 30 years than currently follow NHL, NASCAR, NBA, or NCAA Footbal (the next 4 most popular). But your sentiment remains. Why is it so bad for NFLers to celebrate? God forbid...
  22. There are 4 seasons in football, just like nature... Pre-Season Regular Season Post Season Smoke and Mirror Season And the Pats "smoke and mirror" as well and often as anyone else.
