  1. Just a day in the life of a Foxborough big shot. Brady learned well from Kraft and Bellycheat. If you don't like the rules, pay somebody to change them or cheat. Of course all of the Brady admirers (Bills "fans" too), will all join hands in a line to protect Brady just like they did with the slew or cheating scandals. They will get mighty sick of chanting "nothing to see here". Funny thing about that is if they say there is nothing to see, that means there almost definitely is something to see. Like when a used car lot is called "Honest Bob's", you can rest assured Bob is anything but honest; just like the serial cheater, evidence destroying Tom.
  2. There are options other than draft qb at 10 or wait until next year. Sorry some folks don't want to hear it's a weak class, but it is. That does not mean don't draft qb, it means don't overdraft a qb; and that means passing in round 1
  3. Add me to that list. Unfortunately this ranking is merely a reflection of TBN. First line of that little write-up tells you all you need to know: the author doesn't know jack about Buffalo, but picked up a TBN and went with it. Welcome to "journalism" in 2017. One person does an opinion piece built on a kernel of truth, and 50 million national writers paraphrase and call it news. I won't even get into TBN, but those writers are nuttier than a porta-potty at a peanut festival.
  4. Some excellent points here about TBN's role in creating the negativity surrounding our rebuild/tank. Buffalo is not a nationally popular market, so national writer just look at what the local hacks are churning out for direction. If this was a larger, more popular market, the natiinal guys would actually know about the team and have their own opinions (such as with toronto, as you mentioned, or with the Pens when they did it)
  5. I would not mind this. I think some of the pressers with Terry, Russ, and even Whaley have been successful. Also I like hearing from Kim, she is honest but diplomatic, and her presence is more disarming than anyone else inside the organization. Yeah as surprised as I was by TM being fired, I will not argue with getting your own people. They tried trusting someone else and clearly Terry wants his stamp on the next hire.
  6. Russ is good in front of a camera, but Terry catches so much **** from fans and media about his role, I doubt he wants to feed that fire.
  7. Remember the shoving match in Foxborough? The Kraft-run NFL must retaliate. Par for the course. It's almost not surprising anymore, but it always seems like they are trying (and succeeding) to f*** us. Such a massive disadvantage. Correction: Kraft owns the NFL.
  8. I love Terry, but he has a tough time articulating his thoughts, and as usual the media members are pushing his buttons and being negative. Their framing of questions and derogatory tone are ever present these days. Terry did have a good point, too. "Cleveland can rebuild but the Sabres tanked?"
  9. Looks brutal. Not a fan of MIA, NE, MIA in the final 3 with final two at Miami and at Foxborough. All we can hope is NE locks up the 1 seed before week 16 and sits Brady. If it's a game they need, week 16 in NE could be tough as hell. That's if we are even still in it at that point. Well how old are you? Reverse mortgage? Lol. They may actually cost you an arm and a leg.
  10. I think the thread title has a typo. It should read: Deshaun Watson a bargain in 3rd for Bills Forgive me if I don't want a top-100 prospect at 10. Rather have, you know, a top-10 prospect at 10.
  11. Man I was decimated when Keuchly we nt right before us. We probably would have passed though. I almost broke the TV when they passed up Orakpo for Maybin. Ugh... So I guess I'm with OP, just a normal, solid, nfl pick please. No flashy bs, no trading up to get a player in a crazy deep class, 1 year wonder, no injury prone/needing surgery, no bs 3rd round qb in rd 1. (Ej?!)
  12. Well said. Thug life = prison and early death. But at least this will save the taxpayers somewhere in the neighborhood of 2.5 million.
  13. Instantly I said Cordy. Then I saw the first few posts and I was sure.... ...then I clicked on the link. What? Proof yet again that the "experts" don't know jack about Buffalo.
  14. When I first realized Santa Claus was not real, it was shocking. I was outraged. Then I quickly learned to ignore anything about that brummy old man. I guess I never realized how similar Santa and Sully are. I used to be angry at Sully, now I just let him be the town drunk. Nobody even listens to his incoherent rumblings anymore. Yup, Sully = Santa = Drunk Bum, except I'll throw the bum a few bucks now and then.
  15. In reference to the draft McCoach basically said we might need a QB, or we might need a secondary player, or any other position, but probably not a Tight End. What I take away from that is they will take OJ Howard if he's available. It's smoke and mirror season.
  16. Gee, kettle, you are awfully black, said the pot. Some of you "tenured members" (as if that freakin matters) like to pretend like some of us are sensitive because we respond to your (collective) delusions of superiority. That, in itself is laughable. Once you folks realize we are all Bills fans here to talk about the same things it will be much easier to carry on real football talk. You will find enough Bills related things to disgree on, of that I am sure. But I guess I should just tuck my tail until I reach your suggested "illustrious posting history". Lol I don't get my self worth from a post count.
  17. This thread seems condecending. Sometime, gbfan2010/ice bowl 67, you make it seem like we have something to celebrate. Rather have even 1 lombardi and be 0-6 vs GB. Big whoop. I was at that last GB game, and don't get me wrong I was pumped. Pumped because it gave us a chance at the playoffs, not because we beat GB. Not mad at you bud, you are an opposing fan who generally contributes positively, but often you seem to miss the point. You get to be optimistic because you always get to the tourney. We haven't won a playoff game since the clinton administration, you have 2 lombardis and 15+ playoff appearances in that same span, so no it is no consolation to beat GB 6 times throughout history. Honestly, GB isn't even on my radar, we might as well have beaten the Browns. All that matters is playoffs, and I am about a decade past celebrating moral bs victories like this.
  18. Cool tradition, Tomcat! This is not an entry, I have too much Bills stuff as it is. I don't pay that much attention to the prospects until the Bills draft them. Anyway, good luck everyone... and thanks to Tomcat for your generosity. Cheers.
  19. Good old Kyle. That guy is always at everything, fired up and rearing to go. Such a great leader and team player. Very happy to have 95 back for at least another year.
  20. Peterson spanked his kid with a switch. As inappropriate as that may be these days, it's hard to see AP in some criminal light because of it. I would venture a guess that Adrian was punished similarly, and likely going back decades in the Peterson family. It's not neccesarily a justification, but understanding what actually happened when the term "child-abuse" gets thrown around. If we are going to let guys like Ray Lewis (homicide), Brandon Marshall (repeated dometic abuse), and Mike Vick (dog murderer) play the game, I don't see what's worse about AP. But I won't complain about the Pats* not signing him. They can pretend like they stand on some moral high ground of which they clearly don't have. But it can be tough to see things clearly when looking down from that high horse they ride upon.
  21. I save and rewatch as well. Last 2 years, it is crazy how much late play calls killed us. So many delay of game calls, timeouts, and wasted plays. I'm convinced that if the OC (obviously Dennison now) can get the call in quickly and doesn't call trick plays on 1st, (wildcat, etc) we will actually have far fewer 3 and out's. And since the 3 and out is one of our biggest problems, we could get much better at sustaining drives and gaining TOP.
  22. Huh, didn't know about the new "phase" rules. Man that CBA is 50 shades of rediculous. Those rules are incredibly specific and restrictive. People wonder why players are always hurt nowadays, when they are bubble wrapped and coddled during practice, and don't even know how to get hit. Instead of being conditioned to get hit, the NFLPA has successfully legislated propper training out of the NFL. They are ill-prepared for the game, causing a down-tick in the quality of the product on the field, and a weakening of the players overall. But that's what happens when the players are represented by a group who's objective is to get them more millions for less and less work. Laziness does not pay off, and the NFL ratings are telling the story. Rant aside, this phase 1 is basically going to the gym together. No football and no football coaches. What benefit do teams with new coaches get from that? Only makes sense if it's to learn a system, but clearly they can't do that.
  23. Right that a hotdog without a bun is just a hot dog. Put it in a bun and *bam* you have made a sandwich. A "burger" without a bun is a meat patty, and isn't a burger until it's on bread; therefore a burger is always a sandwich.
  24. Bread with meat "sandwiched" between = sandwich. Burgers, dogs, sausage, subs, hoagies, grinders... all sandwiches. As for your "patriot bride", if she is a Pats fan indeed, I can solve that one lickety split. 200 bucks should get her a bus ticket back home, a TB12 t-shirt, a 6-pack of Sam Adams, and a HOT DOG SANDWICH. Then you never have to answer another dingbat patsie fan question again.
