This will be the first game I miss in 27 years. Thanks NFL

Yeah I mean I own restaurants and work until midnight most days. It's not 1950 anymore where every job is 9-5 -

I own a Bills Backer bar. That's not the point. They don't though. They did up until a couple weeks ago, but not now. They made the cutoff significantly before this game on purpose to stop people from being able to watch for free. But I pay taxes that are being taken to build the stadium.- 556 replies

I have watched every game for decades. Literally. Even gotten free trials of fubo, downloaded apps, got up at absurd times to see London games, etc. But this game isn't on LOCAL ROCHESTER MARKET because piddly little peacock is trying a money grab. All the other "exclusives" had free trials, were simulcast on a real network, or even in the case of prime- everyone already has it. But peacock, tiny little bullschitt peacock with nothing worthwhile to offer? The NFL not only isn't afraid, they actively don't like us. So I can't. I just can't. Sure, I could afford the subscription; but I can't positively reinforce negative behavior by the NFL trying yet another way into fans' pockets. They will take our tax money to build the brand new stadium for a billionaire, but we can't even watch the effing game. Pathetic.

No different from an OL jumping because the defender is on the neutral zone. Do everything to win within the rulebook. Call it embarrassing if you'd like, but this is Josh getting us a free 15 yards a decent amount of the time.

It's already time to start getting ready for the Chargers

I am in Rochester coverage area and Bills is ALWAYS on. -
Just what I was thinking. Dallas coming off a huge dominating loss Miami coming off a huge dominating victory And the Phins still haven't beaten ANYONE with a winning record.

Boy if the Bills can play like a buzzsaw going into playoffs.... anything is possible. The whole league doesn't want us to get in at this point.

It's still not a big enough lead Keep after it! Can't let them double dip

Good stop to force 3 Foot on the pedal!

Gabe Davis- Do you want him back and for how much $
Heavy Kevi replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd move on completely. Maybe he has more to show in the NFL, but he's cooked in Buffalo. Either way, there isn't a contract that really makes sense. Gabe has been playing on a very team friendly number. He's fixing for a raise. But we're barely holding on with the current price tag. Time for him to find a team that locks in on the Romo "big game Gabe" narrative and pays him to help steady a young QB. I don't have a ton of confidence he "catches on" in that role. Imo he's best suited to a run heavy team where he's almost TE-ish, doing alot of blocking and then slip out into routes when there are soft zones or open field, as well as obviously running one of his 2-3 good routes when they need him to get vertical. Seems like a great dude, works hard, ok with not getting the flowers. Just his time has come to an end in buffalo. -
Not when they are line drives straight up the middle. He's not allowing coverage to get there in time. Hang time. It's a thing.

Predictable first post... As it should be! We have a really bad punter now (dead last in punting avg) Last year we cut a guy called "punt god" because of what turned out to be false accusations. Seems like a no-brainer

Monday night games - Dolphins/Titans, Giants/Packers
Heavy Kevi replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow And the Titans didn't even have a winning record -
I'm in Rochester market and CLE/JAX switched to BUF/KC at 4:25. I saw every minute of the game and they even cut away from browns early enough to slip in a commercial break before kickoff.

Today will show the true character of our team
Heavy Kevi replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well it's pretty much the last chance to keep football meaningful for this season. Sure, they could technically still get in if they lose today, but I don't think anyone really believes that. Last game was a chance to save the season and let the team breathe. Now there are no more breaths to waste. -
Game Thread: TNF: New England at Pittsburgh
Heavy Kevi replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I mean... If a 7-10 team makes the playoffs, they should just go back to 6 teams. This actually would have nothing to do with division winners, this would be a wildcard for the pats with Miami winning the div -
Calling it now: Bills are going to at least reach the AFCCG

I Got It - Why We Aren’t as Good as Them

This can't be ignored. McD is cooked. Sad he'll reportedly get another year, Josh ain't getting younger. -
It’s Chiefs week - and the season is on the line
Heavy Kevi replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Strength vs Strength This is a bigtime matchup for both teams. It should be another good one. Hopefully we come out on top. OP is right. Playoffs start on Sunday. -
Do you wonder if the league is fixed?
Heavy Kevi replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't believe the NFL is fixed. But I do believe refs carry personal bias into their officiating decisions. It's certainly possible (maybe even likely), that certain refs have been actively corrupt at some point or another. But successfully covering up a larger scheme seems unlikely. -
We're Going To The Playoffs. (edit: Updated - Super Bowl)
Heavy Kevi replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hope OP is right! I'm skeptical but it's not like I'm gonna stop watching -
Boooo to this thread Yesterday is just a little tiny toothpick on the back of a camel with many large burdens from years of McD piling on big losses. Again offense "wins the game" several time only to have Sean's decision making blow it. This is the theme of his tenure here to date. Great at taking our pathetic franchise into relevance, now it's time for someone else to take us from relevant to champions.

Per Benjamin Allbright, McDermott's "seat is warm"
Heavy Kevi replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know. But I will tell you this... I come from business. And AS SOON AS we identify a problem, it's our responsibility to try and fix it. Many HAVE been calling for mcds head for some time. Heck I have wanted him gone since end of last year. I thought I was generous giving him a pass on 13 seconds. But now I think the bulk of the football world is now in the camp of McD is done. And so I think it's widely reasonably true that he has just now been clearly identified as the problem. So I guess what I'm saying is I don't care if it's been done. Let's just rip the damn bandaid off and move onto somebody fresh and hopefully offensive minded.
