  1. Its on me?🤣 He ain't winning it, dude. If you think that's still a possibility, that's on you. My original comment remains. He has too many turnovers and the team has too many losses. Do I think he's MVP? Yup he is. It's a 3-4 win team without him, but its not Homer Bills fans who vote for MVP, and so it's pretty freaking obvious Josh ain't winning MVP this year.
  2. I would generally agree because they have some momentum right now, but that is all nullified by the fact that Bills already lost to Pats this year. That alone guarantees a win. Josh will not lose to the pats 2 times in one season.
  3. eBay is dreadful at weeding out fakes .. that would be my bet
  4. If you can get the div this year you get the div. Burn the boats and go all in for it But if fins win the div, next year's sched will be a consolation prize. Lombardi this year and next year's sched could be all London games idc!
  5. For real. Love Josh, but... This thread being revived every week is so weird. It does not matter what happens in next 2 games, or even in the last 5 or so. He has too many turnovers and the team has too many losses. It's like discussing if my pickup truck will beat the land speed record... Ain't happening no matter how much we talk about it.
  6. Joking? You want your mommy defending you against strangers on the internet? Come on now nobody wants OR needs that. It's not like a tiger was gonna eat him, it's just internet people saying mean things. That needs no defense, and quite frankly it brought alot more attention to it by legitimizing it with a response.
  7. Honestly, Beane going out and getting Douglass and Joseph saved the season. Not just that he filled the obvious holes, but it was a signal to the team that he still believes in them and we can still win it this year.
  8. Well then change the thread title. It's not surprising people think you are saying it like it's objective fact, because that's what the thread title says.
  9. Misleading thread title. Bills will be 2 or 3 if they win out AND get help. They can still win out and be 6 or 7 seed.
  10. It wasn't about style points today, just a W after blowing a load on the Cowboys. Next week I'll look for style points though. Don't want to limp into the playoffs.
  11. Excellent thread and strategy talking points! I hadn't considered that previously, but I think you are absolutely right. The smart move is in deferring in playoff OT. Either way I hope we don't go to OT any more this year. These McD coached Bills have been abysmal in ivertime.
  12. No problem at all. Teef can carry on when your blowing snot 🤧
  13. Nice recap, Jack. I am going to need all 3 streams for the bar, but anyway... I missed the part where SoCal and Teef offered to do play by play over the phone! I think that's the ticket. @teef @SoCal Deek hit me up GameDay at 867-5309 But if I find myself in Mississippi I'll drop by Bill's for the Bills All good guys. I started this thread with a fair amount of frustration about peacock and put it forth as hyperbole. I expected to get flamed. The surprise is the nearly 20 pages. Lol. And I even admitted in like page 2 or 3 it was hyperbole. I'm not actually going to skip the game. I am shocked more people aren't frustrated about this, though. That is true. It is rediculous. Frankly I'm surprised that YouTube (Google) isn't pissed. What's the point of Sunday ticket now, "you get a pretty healthy majority of out of market games. No promises though" -- But the ABSOLUTE BEST PART (speaking 100% truthfully) was the TONS of DM's I got on how to watch the game. Offers to let me use one of someone else's streams, links to sites/feeds, invites to watch parties, and even a text from a friend offering to come to his house this weekend. All of the schitt-talking is just the internet. I wouldn't have started a thread like that if I couldn't handle some ball busting lol. Keep it sweet, Mango Aww, shucks 😊 I'm not as tough as that though, I will catch the game somehow... Prob not on peacock tho. But the point remains unchanged. It IS outrageous. It IS a money grab. It is a gateway drug for more of this by the NFL. You hit it. It's 6 bucks this year, how much for the next one? And as much as illegal feeds feel like they are "fighting the man", it probably encourages more and more ppv football games because NFL has to get revenue from it somehow. I've probably gotten the most schitt from talking about the taxpayer funded stadium, but I will beat that drum every time. When we provide millions of taxpayer dollars into the bank account of a billionaire team owner, how in the actual frick do they not show games over the air?
  14. Idk, even huge companies like NFL have bad ideas and abandon them. This ppv regular season football could fail. I'm just a grain of sand in the desert, but just like the straw on a camels back, at some point it only takes one more and that camel is dead.
  15. Oh, yeah. Business is king. Of course I'm paying for it at the bar, so I can show it there. ROI is a thing, and it's not lost on me. It's separate, though. I don't want to sit in the bar. I want to watch at home where I already pay for several services that should deliver this game.
  16. Lol To be fair, it's one guy. But yes, Dolphans are dumb. They have 3 teams with winning records coming up on the sched though, so... He'll only have another week or 2 to talk trash. Let him have it while it lasts.
  17. Sure it is. Money is fungible So when we pay for the stadium, we're really just putting that amount of cash into Terrys pocket. So the team is subsidized, not just the stadium. Completely relevant.
  18. That's not the point though. Illegal streams are everywhere. Of course. Half of the responses to this thread have basically been "steal the game" That should say pretty much everything about the state of the situation. It's rediculous. I don't want to "steal the game". I don't want to wade through pop-ups, deception, and risk viruses. It shouldn't be this hard to legally watch a game in my local market, especially a publicly subsidized one.
  19. It is sour grapes. I pay towards the stadium with taxes I pay for spectrum (2 locations) with sports package I pay for Sunday ticket I pay for Hulu live But none of those things get me the game. Your not sour about it?
  20. Good post. What you are actually seeing imo is just a change in delivery. Netflix and Hulu rocked the boat and shook up everything. But now spectrum is switching to streaming. No more cable. No more cable boxes... Just streaming boxes. Also look at fubo, Hulu live, and YouTube tv. That IS cable these days. And the big guys (spectrum/Xfinity/Comcast) will just adjust to the times and provide their services that way. We've already seen subscription fatigue affecting the BS streamers (like peacock and Disney), and it's precisely why there is no free trial offer for this. In the past, tons of people would justjust get the free trial and cancel.... And it never really moved the needle for those services as far as long term subscriptions go. So peacock figured they'll make no such offer, and force this game into basically being ppv since only 9 Americans currently subscribe to, and pay for, peachicken
  21. It's not really cable though, is it? It's over the air that's supposed to be provided to local markets. This is even more true with the surge in taxpayer funded stadiums. It's against the spirit of community funded stadiums to pull a money grab like this! Make everyone else pay, sure... But everyone in NY subsidizes the Bills and therefore it should be on locally
