  1. What a rediculous post. Before you run around yelling "racist" maybe you should have some basis for it. You are the problem if you think that. Let's just dig alittle deeper. I compared him to JP Losman... Who is white by the way. Big arm, but that's it. And then go watch All in the Family and honestly tell me it is racist. Come on now. Carroll O'Connor (Archie) is a lifelong liberal, and the show created a caricature in Archie to show how rediculous racist ideals are. But you don't get any of that, clearly, and have no real argument so you just yell "racist". Someday you will realize you are trying to sow division, and not me who doesn't like Jackson because he's another mobile QB, who's career, even if he's good, will be half that of a traditional pocket passer. It has literally nothing to do with his race. People like you are insufferable morons, but I'm supposed to run away with my tail tucked because you make wild, baseless acusations. Not this guy.
  2. Nope. It would feel like missing out on big Ben and drafting JP all over again.
  3. Yeah.... But there are 7 rounds, so 55% is heavily skewed in favor of drafting one in the first.
  4. Yeah, as long as we get one of the top 4 QBs I don't care where we got him or what we gave up in trade... So I love this one. I only read picks 1 and 2 and that is all it took.
  5. Either way. No matter where our pick ends up, if we pass on Rosen for anybody not named Darnold or Mayfield I will literally puke right there.
  6. Look at the OP mock again. I have no idea what you are talking about.
  7. Noooooooooooo Real QB please. No more "mobile" guys who are remedial passers and suck as soon as their speed wears off. Give me a pocket passer who can play at a high level for 10+ years.
  8. This guy clearly wanted to mock Rosen to AZ. I think there is a low liklihood we stay at 12, but if we did we definitely would never pass on Rosen. And he won't make it to 12 anyway.
  9. Preston Brown is Ryan Fitzpatrick on defense.... He has it "between the ears", but lacks the physical tools to be elite. He does find himself in a good position most of the time so he will probably lead the team in tackles like he did here if he plays mike for you. Won't ever provide a big hit but will hold up the ball carrier long enough for the rest of the D to rally and stop him. Nothing wrong with Cordy Glenn at all, when he makes it to the field. If he stays healthy in Cincy, you guys will love him. I have my doubts about the likelihood of that happening, though.
  10. This i not a legitimate question. Bruschi is just trying to trash the Bills and Cleveland. I hope he gets hit by a bus. Or a caravan of busses. We will draft who we want and he will play. Even if we have to redeux the Jim Kelly drama. Doesn't much matter anyway. As soon as he gets here he will be hooked. Bruschi doesn't get this because he played for the worst fans in pro sports, but the Bills mafia (I still hate that name) is different. We have a reputation now, especialy after the Dalton/playoff/charity brouhaha. For the record, bull**** "analysis" like this is why ESPN is so close to the trash heap and is entirely unwatchable. Propogandists.
  11. That is clearly not happening. Not to say the rookie won't start, but it won't be handed to him. AJM would not have signed unless he was assured of a true competition. The staff might even be more likely to let him sit a year depending on who they land.
  12. I'll second (or third) this. I don't do any social media at all (maybe this counts?), and the board always beats anything from NFLN, ESPN, or the Bills notifications by an hour or more. Go-to place for NFL news. Also thanks to SDS for allowing threads that are pertinent to the Bills but not exactly "bills related". The old BBMB would shut those down, and they can be just as important to the Bills as actual Bills roster moves, trades, etc....
  13. I got some Northern lights at a Roger Waters show in 2005. I don't think it's the same Northern lights.... ?
  14. Especially with Kyle lining up at FB too..... at least I wouldn't mind seeing that a few more times before he retires. Jack of all trades so they say.... ?️??
  15. Beane hit one out of the park on this trade. Hell, this offseason so far. Time to get that real QB prospect. Heck yeah... I don't even care which one, whoever it is that they believe in.
  16. I would agree with you if it was him But it's Shady... Idk if that means he's staying or not, but it does seem odd.
  17. I love that with the Tyrod trade we basically pushed our chips to the middle of the table. We are all in on finding a QB. About gosh dang time...
  18. This is basically worst case scensrio in my opinion. I don't want "glass man" Bradford or to draft another middle round QB in the first. I still have a sick feeling from Losman and Manuel.
  19. I don't think he was right not to. Tells me he is scared of the competition, and doesn't want to risk the combine because he might slide down a few picks. If he really had confidence in himself he would not care if he goes 1st or 10th, because he should think he's good enough to be elite for a decade+ and get loads of cash and take his team to the promised land. Positioning himself now for a few extra bucks seems like the safe, albiet cowardly way to go. My $.02 anyways... I feel the same way about Jackson not running, broad jumping, or vert jumping when thats a bigtime part of his game. I want to see competitors who are not afraid to lay it out there anytime they are given a chance. Pro days are insulated, best case scenarios, and of course you will look better with scripted throws to recievers you have been throwing to, in a building you are familiar with, with coaches you know. I'm no "football guy" by any means. I have never held any position of coaching or FO of any football team, but if up to me, I would take Darnold amd Jackson off my board entirely.
  20. That's why I said I'm trying not to let the combine mess with me... But yeah of the available QBs, if I had the choice I would take Rosen. It's hard not to get sucked in by those pretty Allen throws though.
  21. For real. All of those moves unloading players for cap space and draft capital, plus trading down in last years draft was for the express purpose of getting a QB IMO. That was the narrative- sucks to see sammy/marcell/10th pick, etc go BUT we won't care once we get our franchise QB. Not getting one this year would be like saving up all your money for a new car, but then just blowing it on a lifetime supply of peanut butter and taking the train to work.
  22. I'm trying not to let the combine mess with my head. Allen looks GREAT in shorts. Those deep rainbows were jaw-dropping... But his completion percentage in college was dismal, amd that does not usually get better in the pros. I fear he is fools gold. Then Baker. Looked great too, very savvy. Unlike Allen he had a great college completion peecentage, but is too small with tiny hands. I saw his time with Mooch at the board too, very impressive, but go back and watch Tebow with Gruden at the whiteboard... Very impressive too. I'm atraid of Mayfield as well. Then you hear about how great Rosen is. The most "polished" and "natural thrower" in the draft amd he throws some wonky bricks.... But has prototype size/arm. I wanted Rosen before I saw the combine, and now I have no idea who I want, so I'll just trust the football guys amd hope we get the right one (or one of the right ones).
  23. Agree whole-heartedly. I would not even complain if they pulled a Ricky Williams style trade. About freakin time we get a real QB prospect without digging through the scratch and dent at the local Salvo.
  24. That's nice data and clearly you put work into it, but the fact is your chances of QB being elite is highest in the top 5 and deteriorates from there. Sure there are late rounders who are good, certainly; but if you want the best chance you draft the QB as eaarly as possible, whether it's a trade-up or not. Aside from that- We have tried waiting till most are off the board and jumped up to grab one (Losman). We have waited until mid rounds (Edwards). We have waited until late rounds (Cardale, Peterman). We have traded DOWN in the first (EJ). None of that has worked. The one thing we haven't done is draft one at the top of the draft, and it's about freakin time we tried.
  25. Good point. I would ship him out for a QB in a second though. Love shady, but a guy already having taken a step back who will be retired soon would be fine with me for a potential 10 year starter at QB. The QB is infinitely more important and it's not even close. And we could still draft RB amd sign a vet RB and be ok, but where are you finding a franchise QB elsewhere? Sure, MAYBE Cousins could be, but we would have to gut the team to afford his 12 billion dollar cap hit. Not that any of that matters, as you said tje Browns won't do it anyway.
