I just Googled the free agent qbs in 2019. The top four listed are Matt Ryan, Tyrod Taylor, Teddy Bridgewater, and Nick Foles. I don't believe any of them would fit the mold you are looking for. We may have to find a lower priced retread that has something left in the tank.

I am still all about the development of Allen. I am really optimistic about his potential. I would be ok if they left the situation the way it is now. The only concern I have is if Barkley can be effective against a decent team or if he was taking advantage of an atrocious Jets team. As despicable as his actions were, I don't think he should have no chance for redemption. If he gets counselling, he is serious about it and works the process (sorry) maybe he will earn the right to play in the NFL again. He could turn this situation into a positive by becoming an advocate of domestic nonviolence. I am ok with the backups we have on our roster. could they be better? sure. But it is getting a little late in the season to bring in a new backup qb to learn the system and expect to be affective. (or is it effective. I never know for sure.)

I agree. Especially regarding Kyle and Lorax. They provide a critical veteran presence for our defense. Both are still effective in their mud 30's. Amazing.

I like and agree with everything you said. It is always nice to beat the Dolphins twice in one year. If we don't make the playoffs, it would be nice to rank 2nd in our division. This would be something to build on.
