  1. There is wisdom in playing the "hit hand". Start Barkley after the bye week. If Barkley reverts back to his performance from previous seasons, start Allen the following week. Allen could benefit from playing some mop up duty with less pressure on him.
  2. Keep Anderson as the third qb. He seems to be really focused on being Allen's mentor. Did anyone notice he was in Allen's ear all game long?
  3. Agreed. If you look at the last six game any of them are winnable. I am not saying we will go 6 - 0 to close out the season, but with solid quarterback play who knows what this team can accomplish?
  4. I agree with you. I never really understood learning from th side lines thinking. Anderson was in his ear all afternoon during the game. Allen has the work ethic and thick skin. I really believe he will develop into a very good starter.
  5. Let it go. That is old news he made the playoffs with those bad moves. Like I said. Nothing McDermott does will change your mind. We won today. Do you want to be miserable?
  6. This is a interesting situation. I posed this question in another thread. Do the Bills go back to the original plan and start Barkley and let Allen learn from the sidelines or do they start Allen after the bye week?
  7. This raises the question, does Barkley remain the starter and we go back to our original plan to let Allen learn from the sidelines the rest of this year? Or do we start Allen after the bye week?
  8. I doubt anything would erase your concerns. McDermott coached a team that over achieved to the playoffs in his first year. This was to be a tear down year to get out from under our dead money. We could win five or six games this year. Your expectations are unrealistic.
  9. I think/hope Barkley is ahead of Peterman on the depth chart.
  10. Why keep looking in the past. That accomplishes absolutely nothing. It is so much better to look forward. Each to his own.
  11. This board is loaded with passionate Bills fans. I have written a few responses and started threads similar to yours. It is difficult to see our team play so badly, but threads like this will hopefully help keep our eyes on the future. Thank you for your voice of reason.
  12. Sorry. These inept qb outings all run together. It is just a blur to me. Peterman / Anderson.. What difference does it make. Neither one has any future with this team, hopefully.
  13. Anyone 35 or less that has played in a NFL game within the last two years. How does that work for starters?
  14. I can not identify any out of work qbs that are of playing age that are not better than Peterman.
  15. My feeling is that he had a loaded defense from the previous coach and he destroyed it. He seemed that he did not have any viable plan. He hired his brother. He was a clown. Just a few examples. Just my opinion.
  16. He was also the quarterback responsible for the 38 possession dry streek.
  17. Sure, why not. At worst, he would be as bad as Peterman. We have nothing to loose.
  18. You expressed my feelings exactly. The over reactions each week I find very comical. The season is hard to take, but we have to keep our eyes on the future.
  19. I agree with you. But he does not raise the level of the players around him. I still believe in Allen's future. Peterman is not an NFL caliber qb. We need to move on from him when our other qb's are available to play. He has thrown 3tds -8 ints. His completion percentage is 45.7%. Qb rating of 31.4. Just because he got some bad breaks on his ints today does not absolve him of his consistent poor play. Just my opinion.
