  1. Great minds think alike. This game came to mind as I watched the MNF offensive explosion. I know people complain about the lack of defense, but like the LAR vs KC, that Bills vs 49's game was a lot of fun. I was relieved when I realized that there had been a punt I. The game. I believe that the 1992 Bills/49er's game is still the only regular season game without either team punting. Let's hope there are new glory days in our near future like the 90's Bills.
  2. That was funny. Talk about taking it out of context.
  3. You make a lot of assumptions about Allen's development. You realize that your assumptions are your opinion and not fact, right? If you look back to Jared Goff 's rookie year, many were declaring him a bust. We see how that turned out. I believe Allen will be the qb we need. The Bills are right on schedule for following the NFL trend of which you spoke. But thank you for your attempt to ***** defeat out of the jaws of victory.
  4. Hi hope that Allen and the Bills ignore these comments and just kick their butt on the filed.
  5. The best use for the remaining six games is to see what we have with our younger players. It is most important that Allen get as many reps in live game action as possible. Is he is on the bench this year, that means we will be playing a 2nd floor qb next season with only 4 career starts. I am hopeful that the 2019 is when we start to see the offense and the entire team starting to develop into a contender. Get Allen and our young players experience so they can hit the ground running next season.
  6. He is not. McDermott is going to be the coach we need.
  7. I agree with you. Even though the Bills have struggled. I am looking forward to seeing Allen play again. I really do not like the bye week.
  8. If what I have read is true, either one could be a game changer. I am leaning more for Bosa since the conventional wisdom is that he could be better than his brother...wow.
  9. Have a great day and Happy Thanksgiving.
  10. I gave it all the effort that was put into starting this thread. Again ridiculous.
  11. Different team, different coaches. I believe our OC would have created game plans to better utilize Taylors strengths. You are obviously one of the Tyrod detractors. I find it hilarious when people in the 2017 season would whine about Tyrod not throwing for 300 yards, even though we would win the game. HE got us to the playoffs, and he was a big part of that. Next you will say we backed in to the playoffs. there is no such thing. We won enough games to make the playoffs. You are beating a dead horse. Tyrod is no longer on our team and he most likely never will be again. Let it go......Please.
  12. TT would Have given us a chance in all of the Peterman debacles with many fewer turnovers. The Colts and Texans could have been wins. 5-5 record at this point with TT would have given us a fair chance for a playoff birth.
  13. TT would of given us a chance in all of the Peterman debacles with many fewer turnovers. The Colts and Texans could have been wins. 5-5 record at this point with TT would have given us a fair chance for a playoff birth.
  14. I was going to write something glib, but what is the use. .....this is a ridiculous thread.
  15. Excellent article! This is what many "rational" posters on this site have been saying. Maybe this article will get some of the agitated posters off the ledge. Thank you for starting this thread.
  16. I am a solid advocate for McDermott, but come on...that is a stretch. We have been in every game except Baltimore???
  17. You know the old saying: those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. I am not meaning to diminish teachers. The point is just because he can't play well does not mean he can not teach. The reverse is also true. Just because an athlete plays at a high level does not mean he or she can teach. Mike Singletary comes to mind. He was a great linebacker, but he was terrible as a head coach. Michael Jordin is another example. He admits that he would not be a good coach. He would expect the players he was coaching to be able to do the things he could do and would get very frustrated if they fell short of his expectations. Anderson seems to be taking to his mentor role very well. Let's see what happens.
  18. Best kicker in the league. Why did Seattle let him go? Thank you Seahawks. (they also stole the 12th man recognition from us)
  19. I am just taking the season as it unfolds. I believe in McDermott and Beane to turn this team into a consistent winner. McDermott has a way to refocus this team and not let them give up in the face of adversity. He is a special coach. Beane has made some mistakes. But he has had a good draft and has made some good moves as well. We just need to endure this season and there will be better days ahead for our beloved Bills.
  20. Now you have done it. I am all in!!!
  21. I like McDermott as a coach, but he seems to have a blind spot for certain players. Unfortunately KB is one of them.
  22. I think what the Jets game showed us is that if we have a quarterback that can play at an average NFL qb level, our talent on offense can be better than we thought. Yes, we do need upgrades at wr, and the oline, but we may have underestimated this group's abilities.
  23. I think it is legit for what it is. Given the number of turnovers, 3 and outs, and the general lack of ball control the offense has experienced this season, for our defense to lead the league in the fewest yards allowed is an amazing accomplishment.
  24. Who in their right mind would care what Rex Ryan thinks or says. He is a buffoon.
