  1. I Remember them as black and orange. I could be wrong. They had a really fun roster, Gar Heard, Jack Marin ( the mad bomber (before the 3 point shot), Randy Smith, Bob McaDoo, Jim McMillan, Ernie DeGregorio ( Ernie no D), and even Bobby Weiser from the Chicago Bulls. This Brings back memories. At one time Buffalo had Chuck Knox (Bills), Jack Ramsey (Braves), and and Scotty Bowman as head coaches at the same time.
  2. Lol. There are the Braves and there are the Braves. I was referring to the second one. (NBA).
  3. Yes it was. It could be worse though. San Diego lost the clippers and the Chargers.
  4. Snyder sold the team to John Y. Brown and used the funds to build Darien Lake. Brown swapped franchises with the Celtics owner Irv Levin. Then Levin moved the team to San Diego and they became the Clippers. Then from there they moved to their current home in LA.
  5. Attendance was great. The city supported the team. The owner, Paul Snyder sold the team to fund the construction of Snyder 's Darien Lake. It was unbelievable. Back when the Braves were here you could get tickets right behind the bench at an affordable price. I was crushed when they left.
  6. It would be like when the Braves left. I tried to root for them, but it was not the same. If the Bills left town, I have no idea if I would pick a new team. I may just watch the best match ups each week. That would be a sad day.
  7. How do you know things won't get better? As far as your question of "What have you seen that indicates this?" For one thing, they got the Bills to the playoffs last year. I know, you will probably say they backed in. The fact is the won enough games to qualify for the playoffs. Management is getting us out of a financial mess. This season needed to happen. We are all guessing what will happen. Until I am proven wrong, I like to believe that things will improve. You like to things will stay the same or get worse. I prefer my outlook. If focusing on all the bad things that can happen in the future brings you comfort, then best of luck to you.
  8. If this is true, it is good news. I am not sure why they cut him to begin with. Although, the replacement has done ok considering this is his rookie season.
  9. They have improved the defense. I believe the offense will follow. Being optimistic is so much better that running around yelling that the sky is falling. What is being accomplished by all this negativity? If I have a choice to believe in people that have devoted their adult life to footfall or the people freaking out on TBD, I will choose the former.
  10. That is the best laugh I have had in a while. You are AWESOME!!!
  11. The thing that I do not understand with those that are freaking out. We expected this season to be what it had become. Things will get better beginning next year. Take a deep breath....and relax.
  12. What difference does that make? He stands by his team. End of story.
  13. Not sure he would be an upgrade to Peterman. In his career he has 8 td's and 18 int's. He seem to fit the profile of our quarterbacks.
  14. Even if we start Nate, we still need a viable backup. so who would that be? Now you've got the order right!
  15. Because the defense is playing their hearts out and they deserve better support from the offense.
  16. No. Who ever they pick up would need a couple of weeks to get ready. But depending on the severity of Anderson's injury, we may need a healthy backup. Oh Anderson is not able to play, we will need a healthy backup. He hasn't taken a meaningful snap in at least six years.
  17. Do you have a qb in mind that could be available? Do you have a qb in mind that would be available?
  18. If Derek Anderson can't play for an extended time, who do you think the Bills should pick up. The popular choices seem to be Sam Bradford or Tyrod. Bradford has not looked very good this season and is injury prone. Tyrod will add some versatility to our offense and he will limit turnovers. This option may compliment our strong defense. Yes, Tyrod will still throw for 190 yards on a good day, but the reduced turnovers will help this team immensely. Turn overs have cost us a couple move victories. What other viable options are available?
