  1. Allen makes stupid throws into double coverage. He doesn’t protect the football when scrambling or in the pocket. He plays loose and I suppose that’s good, but this haphazard ball security is not acceptable in the NFL. He needs to protect the football. Allen claimed to have watched a ton of Brady film, did he not note that Brady always guns the ball at WRs feet if the play is busted?
  2. I want to rewatch the game but I have a feeling it will make me more pissed.
  3. McD needs to get Allen to not throw into double coverage so much.
  4. Allen has a long way to go to show he’s a franchise QB. Anyone can acknowledge that his INTs are a problem.
  5. Hard doing this on an iPhone but will update those stats.
  6. I’m starting to come across the word dumb more and more when people talk about Josh Allen’s game. He’s reckless at times but I think he will learn and play smarter.
  7. Allen really needs to improve those mental mistakes and unforced errors. He needs to protect the football. For comparative sake Allen has thrown picks on 18 of his 451 career attempts. Kaepernick threw 30 on 1692 career attempts. If Allen keeps up this pick rate he will have 68 picks at 1692 attempts. Brady has thrown 172 picks on 9,520 attempts. If Allen would reached 9,520 attempts at his rate he’d have 380 picks at Brady’s attempts. Aaron Rodgers is even more amazing, 81 picks on 5,638 attempts, Allen would be at 225 picks. The boneheaded interceptions make coaches stay up at night and let down the defense. They are unforced errors and I believe McDermott will only tolerate these horrible decisions for so long.
  8. Hard to throw the ball when you are throwing off your back foot.
  9. Good point, I’m sure Daboll & WRs coaches stress down field blocking when they see Allen take off.
  10. It was recovered by the OL as was a Barkley fumble. I’m against the hit but Beasley didn’t block the hitter who leveled Allen as he was going down. Protect your QB don’t stand and watch.
  11. We aren’t paying him to be a part time player. He needs to fall in line and improve his contribution. That includes blocking.
  12. Allen played his worst game of the year against a great defense. You can’t throw 3 picks in an NFL game and expect to win. He also fumbled. The sack on 3rd down helped attribute to the kick just going wide left. He makes careless errors and in big games you lose. Brady has built a career off of taking the easy check down. There were plenty of open check downs and Allen simply doesn’t look for them enough.
  13. We gave up 10 points on D. That’s a good feat. The turnovers and blocked punt were our downfall. The only thing I care about is competency & our O & ST blew it. Also no one is talking about the FG miss at the end of the 1st half and the 5 yard sack the play before. That was huge.
  14. If you are tough enough to play the slot you must be tough enough to block. This on Beasley. Everyone must up their game.
  15. Pats radio guys said after Allen’s 3rd pick “he’s made some of the DUMBEST throws they’ve EVER witnessed.” When you think of Allen does the word dumb come to mind? I can’t wait till week 16.
  16. Take the delay of game on the punt. That was horrible. Always need to conserve TOs. Pats knew they needed an easy TD & brought the house on the blocked punt.
  17. Daboll needs to get his WRs to block.
  18. I think our WRs need to do a better job at blocking when Allen scrambles. Beasley indirectly caused Allen’s concussion by not blocking his defender after Allen scrambled for the sticks.
  19. I’ve rewatched this play about 10 times on ESPN. Two problems I have with the play: #1 WR downfield blocking: Beasley & Brown both know they have a mobile QB, when they clearly see Allen running they watch and don’t engage the defenders who were in man coverage. Once Allen runs they can block for him downfield. If Beasley engages, Allen is likely spared from a big hit. #2 the hit itself. Notice the defender drops his leverage and leads helmet first instead of with his shoulder pads. He looked to deliver maximum damage, and flexed & celebrates afterwards. No regard for player safety and should have been thrown out of the game.
  20. Definitely a concussion. He was knocked unconscious. That kind of concussion is extremely violent & if I’m the Bills I’d give him next week off to recover.
  21. The good news is we have 12 games. I’m not all doom and gloom about this. Bills defense basically handled the Pats offense. Amazing effort and game plan. If we can get Singletary back our offense gets better.
  22. 3 TDs & 6 INTs after 4 games. On pace for 12 & 24. Not a good look. The TOs must come down.
  23. I gave him an A (2017) + C (2018) + B (2019 so far) = B.
  24. Allen has the check down open on the left. That was a soft zone, the CB could have driven on the ball and the WR would have had to come back to make the catch. The down and distance is important there.
  25. I gave McD a B. Partially for the slow start week 1 that nearly cost us the game, the bad 3rd Qtr in week 2 & week 3.
