The Bills are plasma. Pure plasma, man.

In WNY: Duff's on Sheridan makes messy-saucy wings. The dining room is noisy as hell, for those of us with hearing problems it is hard to converse. The best Duff's is at Eastern Hills mall. Their wings are not over-sauced and are crisp. They make a damn good pizza option was well. Anchor Bar Main Street was the bomb in the 1980s. It was the best, it has gone down hill since. That's a bummer.

Is this the best coaching we have seen in the JA era?

What I like about the Bills: every player on the 53 is a starter.* Next man up. * except, maybe, Trubisky, he's awful -
You're Welcome - what did you do to help tonight?

I ate too much at the pregame meal. Good luck or not, I won't be doing that again. Sorry guys. -
I'm really starting to love this WR room. We quietly got better

In statistics, they call it Dispersion. The Bills have high dispersion in pass targets and it leads to winning. If you have low dispersion in pass targets, you don't do so well. Case study, the Bills win over the Jaguars versus the Texans loss to the Vikings. Check out the reception statistics for both games, look at the numerical beauty in the stats. The Bills will have a successful season with multiple receiver targets. Who needs an iconic WR1? -
The mural on the Statler building could have gone to the head of a lessor man... but it didn't to Allen. Regardless of what drama happens around him, Allen is all focus and business on the field. He's the perfect Super Bowl QB.

9/23/24 GAMEDAY Bills vs Jaguars MNF PREGAME THREAD

In the news... Morse calls the Bills Mafia a "special group of people" and adds it's "a special inebriation level that they reach in the game." That's disappointing. I may be a fuddy-duddy, but excelling at drunkenness is not the rep I want on the world stage. -
Diggs had a productive day, for a losing one. Stefon Diggs 10 receptions, 94 yards, 12 targets

77 is too young to go. RIP Mercury.

Does anybody else prefer to watch Bills games alone?
boater replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, I prefer to watch games alone. But I don't. A close friend likes when I visit his house for games, so that's what I do. Not being a one-way guy is how I roll. -

Sure... Cook has been great. How much of that is due to the OL opening lanes? Seems to me the OL has been opening up lanes like never before. -
Shady asks Josh about being voted most overrated, ❤️ his response!

I vote to extend JA's contract.. right now. Lock that man in a Bills uni for the rest of his career. -
$850 million is pocket change, mere irritation money, to anyone to wants to own an NFL team. It won't stop any buyers of the Bills.

There must be a term for when fans over-value their own players. It's common in sports fandom. It's like people who see their Honda Civic worth $1000 more than Kelly Blue Book, because it has something different. No GM is going to see anything in Elam worth trading for.

Josh Allen, committed singles hitter (The Athletic)
boater replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
The article seems correct in what I have observed the last couple of weeks--the short pass is king and the long pass is now second fiddle. Well, OK, but that is a bummer. I love the excitement of a deep pass. Another thought: I'm glad the Bills didn't mortgage the future in signing a prototypical WR1 stud. It would have been kind of a waste with the new trend towards the short pass. -
Why not trade for a dependable kicker?
boater replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
There's the fallacy... There probably is not a team in the situation/mindset you are looking for. Teams that are not in the hunt for the playoffs are at least in the hunt to improve their record and be competitive--they want a good kicker on their roster. I'm not aware of any team that has thrown in the towel to do a full rebuilding. -

What the NFL loves most of all: high television ratings, and NFCE takes the cake. -
Bills now have the 6th youngest starting lineup in the NFL...

Young = cheap. The Bills needed cheap this year. -
This is my fave of all the pics I have seen. I wish the scaffold in the lower right wasn't there. I had to shrink it to make it uploadable and lost some fine detail.

What he said about the impact of quitting booze: “All of a sudden my product as a human being, as a husband, as a coach, was a completely better product..." Sobering up is a life changing event. You become a better person without alcohol as your crutch. Good for him. I won't be so snarky now that I know what he has been through.

NE is now at .500 I hope they stay at .500 on the season. I don't want them losing big and getting draft pick gold. They should suffer in the quagmire of NFL mediocrity like the Bills did in all those drought years.

All this concussion talk reminds me of Mitch Morse. I think he's another one of those guys that is one hit away from life changing damage. IIRC, he has 6 documented concussions.

I like hanging around here after a victory. It is so uplifting and jovial. After a loss, OTH, I avoid this place for almost a week.
