Can Stefon Diggs Emerge as a Superstar in Buffalo?
boater replied to jletha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're right, this won't continue long. We're only in this cap position because our franchise QB is cheap--and that contract ends in a couple years. You're right (number 2) WE DESERVE IT -
Ambien and liquor will do that to you. Ambien alone does it for some people.

Dallas 175 million 5 year offer to Prescott
boater replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lolz, if Josh Allen turns out to his potential, our QB 4 years from now will be Jake Fromm State Farm. -
Sportsline has Jets as overwhelming favorites

If the COVID epidemic taught me anything, the primary lesson learned is: experts and their models and simulations are generally bull. -
Whether this "portends well" is debatable. But it is certainly meaningful in one way or another. Buffalo is susceptible to price overruns on major construction (why would be a discussion for PPP). But you know costs overruns must be clearly on the mind of major players (Pegula's, Poloncarz, Cuomo) when they are looking at all the alternatives.

Fingers crossed that JA can fix his long ball over the summer. -

Semi-off topic: I just ordered Mufaletta Olive salad from Amazon. It will be here Monday. I can't wait. Off topic because it's a marinade, not pickled.

[Vague Title] Worth a look in my book...
boater replied to Mij yllek's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I see someone already replied to the effect of: kick the tires, sign to a vet minimum prove-it deal, git er done. I'm mean he's a high motor with a nose for the ball process guy. -
I Can't Wait 'Til The Home Opener!!!!!!!
boater replied to R. Rich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lol What a great idea! That's something never done here. -
That we're comparing teams 20 years apart is a sad sign of futility that Bills fans have had to endure.

Convince me that the 2020 Pats are good...
boater replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think there is a good chance Brady bombs in Tampa. But it won't be him failing outside Belichicks system, it will be due to the fact he's 42 years old. We some physical decline last year, it only gets worse. As to the OP: I won't convince you the Pats are good. I could convince you the Pats are average--and average teams can be dangerous. -
You tuna a piano but you can't tuna fish. @cowgirls recipe is very similar to mine. The kids like the hard boiled egg. That my kids like hard boiled eggs freaks me out a bit.

Talk of no alcohol at NFL games this season.
boater replied to Jrb1979's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probably zero effect. The NFL can only effect sales in the stands, It would be up to the county to suppress alcohol use in the parking lots. -
Suggestion to the NFL... Given the extenuating circumstances posed by the Corona Virus, it is recommended that you increase the practice squad from 12 to 16 players for the 2020 season. While not a perfect solution, this will make up for the compressed schedules to coach and evaluate players. Expanded Practice Squad will provide some career opportunity to players who are on the bubble if only for the need for more evaluation time. (related note: Practice Squad is 14 players starting in 2022)

The Bills' suddenly deadly WR corps
boater replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's dependent on Josh Allen's summer project: fix the long ball. I know he had plans to tr4ain with others, I hope the COVID didn't stop that. -
You do realize we'll be trying to re-sign Josh Allen the same contract year. give or take? PS: new TV deals have to go through a layer of negotiation to be become official salary cap numbers. And there is this new thing called the COVID fan-less (reduced revenue season) season that's a real possibility. I'm glad fans don't run the team.
