  1. Wow, looking at the interior o-line and tight ends from these list is depressing. Not to derail the topic, but has TE been our historically worst position?
  2. Maybe he has a Cheesecake Factory addiction and is just looking for a sensible reason to keep going there.
  3. Like most people, I love this idea until it inconveniences me! The big story though is the source saying Disney would move MNF to ABC and off ESPN. Would they really risk all that cord-cutting, not to mention a reduced lack of negotiating power with cable/satellite providers?
  4. Do you think Beane would pull an Osweiler-type deal, say trading our 5th for Gurley & LA's 2nd? Might make more sense for Miami or Indy but he'd likely consider it.
  5. Drew Lock looks pretty secure as the Broncos starter, no?
  6. So classless that he continues to bring up Dee Ford's offside from the year before. Everything that comes out of him mouth sounds like it was written in the Entourage writers room.
  7. He can be dumped with only a $5 million hit. I don't think he will be though, Gruden seems to like to remind his QBs that they're replaceable as "motivation."
  8. Brady to the Raiders does not make any sense at all. They don't need a hook to get people to come to games, and Tom isn't exactly mobile. This seems like Gruden is playing games with Carr.
  9. Would not be surprised if they move to 4 London games (2 consecutive games in a row twice a season) in the next few years and they effectively share the team for a bit to acclimate the fans/players to a London team. It's hilarious that this is being done with London & Jacksonville. Hard to think of two less similar big cities.
  10. The Pats would be my guess. If Brady leaves or stays, casual football fans would be curious to see what happens to that dynasty.
  11. Thanks OP, I'll check that one out. If you haven't read Mark Leibovich's Big Game: The NFL in dangerous times, I highly recommend it. Warning though, the author is a P*ts fan - though he takes plenty of shots at them.
  12. It would be hilarious if he decides to retire in San Diego.
  13. Bills -Steelers was actually off a bit from the weekly average of SNF. It was the highest rated game of the week, but TNF had a low outing (Jets-Ravens blowout). That said, Bills should absolutely get some scheduled primetime games this year.
  14. That and the entertainment industry has finally exhausted every possible angle to examine the OJ saga!
  15. I'd be disappointed if the Vegas draft wasn't a tacky, ridiculous spectacle.
  16. I would guess that the rest of the NFL was amazed he was able to get the production he did out of Allen, Beasley, Brown et al. when everyone was new except for Josh & Dion. I hope he does get a HC job next year not because I want him to go, but because it likely means the offense took another leap.
  17. Isn't it pretty rare that a top player in their position moves into coaching? Likely a combination of not needing the money and you can't teach natural instincts/ability.
  18. True, but I don't think ESPN will be outbid by CBS, they need him more. He could probably get a producer credit on MNF as well.
  19. Awesome. No clue if he'll be a good HC or not, but he's a great ST coach and happy to see him leave the Pats!
  20. Deleted my post because it wasn't about Schwartz but close enough. Is Daboll still under contract with the Bills? How long are co-coordinator contracts typically?
  21. He was successful with Alex Smith as well in 2011-12.
  22. He'd probably have to take a lateral move to work under an offensive HC (ala Pettine) to be seriously considered again.
