  1. I would guess that the rest of the NFL was amazed he was able to get the production he did out of Allen, Beasley, Brown et al. when everyone was new except for Josh & Dion. I hope he does get a HC job next year not because I want him to go, but because it likely means the offense took another leap.
  2. Isn't it pretty rare that a top player in their position moves into coaching? Likely a combination of not needing the money and you can't teach natural instincts/ability.
  3. True, but I don't think ESPN will be outbid by CBS, they need him more. He could probably get a producer credit on MNF as well.
  4. Awesome. No clue if he'll be a good HC or not, but he's a great ST coach and happy to see him leave the Pats!
  5. Deleted my post because it wasn't about Schwartz but close enough. Is Daboll still under contract with the Bills? How long are co-coordinator contracts typically?
  6. He was successful with Alex Smith as well in 2011-12.
  7. He'd probably have to take a lateral move to work under an offensive HC (ala Pettine) to be seriously considered again.
  8. Belichick with Rivers vs Brady on the Chargers would be interesting....
  9. I have an uneasy feeling of laughing at their awful 2020 season then by realizing ....oh S&*# they're getting Trevor Lawrence.
  10. Flores is super safe next year, this a complete rebuild and he has the players playing hard. Quinn likely won't see November if they get off to a slow start.
  11. I can see why they'd be interested. Allen was considered the biggest project of the big 5 and he's performed well above expectations this season while Darnold and Mayfield have underachieved. Jackson, of course, is in a different stratosphere so I'd assume anyone considering Daboll will interview Roman as well.
  12. According to the Sun Sentinel the Dolphins will either draft 5th or 6th depending on the late game. Is it only Jacksonville that can get 5th or can San Diego get it based on tie breakers? I'd assume SD would take Tua if they could. https://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/fl-sp-dolphins-patriots-recap-20191229-mszy22prhrdpdjxrcwxzozve7e-story.html
  13. The Sopranos finale spoof has to be because the last SNF game with the Bills was in 2007 when the episode aired.
  14. If Fangio really wanted a change, this would be the year to keep his mouth shut. They would never change as a direct result of an NFCE team getting more TV exposure.
  15. Excellent, though are you sure they're not calling the late LA/SF game? Both are great, I'm surprised Warner didn't get the MNF job.
  16. Total BS. I believe in OJ's innocence over BB not knowing what was going on. Nothing in that organization goes on without his approval. The argument that BB's too smart to do something so brazen that he'd get caught is only half right. He knows there will be no real consequences if he's caught. He's won too many Super Bowls, he's too much of a focus on the NFL 100 celebrations, he's reached Landry/Lombardi status. Another slap on the wrist for the NFL's lovable version of JR Ewing.
  17. Rex had a rough start but is really coming into his own as an analyst a panelist/personality.
  18. I doubt it, but I know that Flores will throw the kitchen sink at them week 17.
