    yeah, that's definitely how i feel about it, but for most people most of the time a pick next year doesn't have the same value as a pick this year. to be honest though, i almost rather have a pick next year than this. give mcd a chance to work with what we have, install his system and then we have extra capital to fill in any malcontents that need to go.

    yeah, its hard to imagine that picks 1-7 would be worth more than 2 1sts and 2 2nds. don't think anybody will give anything for someone last seen walking around half naked.

    For instance, if we made a bad trade, lets say just their first this year and their third the trade would be bad for us. what they do with the pick doesn't effect how good it was for us.

    Right. KC's fate has more to do with their scouting dept than the value they received from us.

    we didn't trade Mahomes, we traded the 10th pick. how good Mahomes does has nothing to do with the trade for either side, and everything to do with chance and the quality of respective scouting departments.

    do you really think the Bills were gonna take Mahomes? not sure what you are saying? trading isn't a zero sum game both teams can "win"

    it might be fun rooting against KC, especially if they have a lousy year. plus it might be nice to have some games to care about if i find myself ambivalent in november or december.
