I would be surprised if this regime overreacted. Once QBs start to go they'll probably go quick. Lets say Darnold goes in the top two. How much do you like the next two QBs on your board? How much do you like the next three? The Bills have set everything up to draft a QB high. They've gotten an enormous amount of value positioning themselves in that way. They got rid of possibly the best QB they've had since Kelly, they took the last ufa at the position for a bargain. Who is this 5th QB your happy with? And lets say your 4th QB goes at 7-9 what do you do? Depth of Class does not denote value imo. Especially at QB.

You never know what will happen. Top 3 overall QBs have a much higher success rate than those late in the first or after. We've set the board to draft a QB high, which I guess is why this is a thread at all. Do we change the game plan now?

I agree its a good QB year, I guess, but do you think Darnold, Rosen, or Mayfield are going to fall to 12? If Darnold and Rosen are gone in the top 4 are you willing to take the chance that Mayfield falls?

I'm still not really sure what you are saying. What QB do you want to draft at 12? or 22?

I'm not ready to try and figure out what he is suggesting. But my initial impression is that he is merely confused.

Shaq could definitely be next. If we are trying to move up for our QB you'd think we would have enough draft capital by now though.

I think there's always a competition. Maybe some expectation bias comes into play occasionally, but the only time there's not a competition is when the winner is obvious.

I'm not sure the guy who wrote the list understands that either. maybe he should have titled it players with the most upside or something. I don't think many of those players will actually get a contract that could do much damage to the teams ability to be competitive in the future except for maybe Case Keenum.

I don't think he understands risk. Riskiest free agent is obviously Cousins.

Hard not to be, we just made the playoffs AND get two firsts and two seconds!

We're already set to have way more than our share . . . And with most of them in the top of the draft a lot more are going to make the team. Our team really came together last year seems wiser to build upon that than trying to get even more 2 and 3 round picks. A lot of times those picks don't pan out, but they're also too high to move on from right away.

We have plenty of high picks already this year. I don't think I would trade down unless I was getting something for next year. How many rookies do you really want in 1 year?

How could anyone possibly know? It would have been a completely different game with a different game plan. Do you actually think the betting odds would have been in the bills favor?

Roman definitely did a lot of things well. I thought he was the best part of Rex's tenure. He didn't really handle game time decisions like play calling well, there were issues with plays getting in etc. Also, his strength was mostly with running schemes which is not what most people want to do on offense.

The importance of sacks. imo one of the least important stats. you only really have a few per game. But penalties (which don't even show up on most stat sheets) are three times more common and have a somewhat similar effect on the game.
