  1. There's also the sample size. When you only play 16 games strange things can and will happen.
  2. Depth isn't just an issue when players get injured, as they inevitably will, but also when they under perform be it in a season or even just a game. You hear the coaching staff talk a lot about guys that can contribute, it seems like the media likes to ignore its significance.
  3. I'm not sure that I agree with all of those comparisons, especially at WR, but the big difference I see in this years squad compared to 04 is our depth!
  4. Every coach wants to be an NFL head coach. It's like every players wants to be an NFL player. You don't get drafted and turn down your contract because your worried about the situation your stepping into any more than you decline a head coaching job. Obviously the frost office thought they were on the same page as Pettine or they wouldn't have hired him, and I'm pretty sure Pettine thought the same thing. Most of these guys whether they're players or coaches believe in themselves and believe they can do it, regardless of what that IT might be.
  5. Yeah, I agree, you can't just go around saying things like that w/o supplying the proof!
  6. The front office has said that resigning Darius is a priority, and they hope to get it done before training camp. Since the change in ownership they have signed everyone they said that they were planning to sign, it might have taken a little longer than expected a few times but they got it done. I don't see why this situation would be any different. Maybe we're getting a little bored in the offseason?
  7. Only way Dixon is dropped is if The Terminator really shows up and locks down FB depth! Dixon is pretty much a lock as backup FB, which we're obviously planning on using a decent amount (not to mention ST). Now if we do take Conner then do we drop both Dixon and Brown?! Williams is almost certainly going to make it as well on upside/ST alone. As long as Fred is the best blocker when we're going in the air I don't see him getting cut.
  8. I LOVED having Spikes! That said if they wanted him they would have gotten him. Also with our latest PR I think a move like this might be prohibitively distracting.
  9. I love our depth! We really don't have that many vulnerabilities . . . looking like we can even lose our two best QBs! I think this is the difference from other years that we have looked good on paper!
  10. No idea what happened . . . obviously . . . but imo good service would include getting to enjoy your meal in relative peace. I would imagine that isn't the case quite often.
  11. 1. The Buffalo Bills Nothing else deserves to be mentioned
  12. Read that he weighs 140 and was under 6 feet.
  13. Lets not muddy the waters with reason . . . everyone knows there are no fair weather Bills fans
  14. ^ I do have an opinion of their fans though . . . Went to their stadium when they played the bills . . . Felt like a home game.
  15. ^ In particular I like to watch Belicheat when he's losing.
  16. I agree with Howard we should jump at the chance to redirect traffic every time someone wants to go for a walk.
  17. 1. Giants 2. Cowboys 3. Redskins 4. Bears 5. Broncos
  18. Um . . . I can buy that our great D and running game is going to make our offense more productive . . . but that doesn't have a lot to do with our QB situation . . .
  19. Hogan will be above 4th receiver by the end of the season. What about Karlos Williams at CB?
  20. My favorites: 10. Daryl Talley 9. Steve Christie 8. Andre Reed 7. Bruce Smith 6. Doug Flutie 5. Thurman Thomas 4. Jim Kelly 3. Brian Moorman 2. Fred Jackson 1. Steve Tasker
