  1. We could just roll over the cap space. Who knows what the thinking is on all our big contracts.
  2. I think it's really hard to put a value on potential. The more contributions made the greater the risk of injury including the small stuff that slows you down. I don't think many would deny his potential of being the best in the league at his position.
  3. I just don't want to keep having to tell myself making game time decisions is probably a lot harder than it looks.
  4. the only good thing that can happen is winning . . .
  5. yeah but Brady didn't come in his first year and start . . .
  6. maybe there should be a post minimum for starting a thread
  7. realistically who do you want making football decisions our coach with a lot of nfl xp or our owner with none and a dubious history winning in sports.
  8. i'm happy they're giving him this much power, if it works great! if it blows up its better than going 7-9 another 5 years.
  9. yeah i voted keep him, but i agree now that you mention it.
  10. For me it was probably Rex year 1. The hire made me very nervous and then watching our offense look decent, finally having that avg QB that was going to put us over the top. Despite my aversion to Ryan, I still got suckered in . . . that was probably the worst part. And then there was that season opener!
  11. i do, boxes and boxes, and two players just in case one breaks. I'm not even that old, technically a millennial.
  12. Yeah but it's not being sold as a vehicle, but a ghoulish collectible.
  13. Agreed Maybe there wasn't a legal alternative.
  14. if i were another team I'd want to trade for him . . . until i heard the bills wanted to get rid of him.
  15. i didn't think he was going anywhere, until the bills response regarding our scouts being skittish. so i'm right here.
  16. but not that amazing right? I mean what would you expect after 17 years . . .
  17. way to double down on that
  18. i sort of liked it better when we were picking up late rounders with injuries or off the field stuff, felt like there was more of an upside.
  19. no idea, seems like we're interested in having a lot of flexibility in the backfield, maybe so they can move around . . . its only a 5th and a 6th, so there's bound to be some negatives. . . .
  20. signing an actual backup is expensive
  21. its hard not to like this pick. just don't think CJ is ready to be a backup yet.
