  1. JJ Watt. I don't think EJ ever got him out of his head.
  2. Last year we needed picks, this year money.
  3. I like Stevie but I don't think he can compete with woods especially in this run first offense. expensive for a number three. Reminds me of mckelvin, sucks to lose them but theyre just casualties of our strength at the position.
  4. As a fan I would of course enjoy seeing more regular season games. That said I think preseason should be used to judge the quality of recently acquired players, I think all things considered if approached from that perspective 4 preseason games will lead to a better NFL product.
  5. They failed to start Taylor. Wonder how much they could have gotten for Flacco in a trade?
  6. It's hard not to say Kelly. But if I had to pick a player from a different era . . . Moorman! Obviously he's the only player we've had during this drought that could be considered the best at his position and played for us for about 10 years. He always seemed like special player on the field, had a couple of nice td passes and handled a botched play better than any punter i've ever seen. Obviously he loves the city and the area, just seems like a great guy, and had a perfect reaction to the attention he was getting. Also, he's emblematic of these past 17 years. He was given extra opportunities to shine, what with all the punting we did and took full advantage. It's fitting that one of our best players should be a punter given how things have gone lately. I'm sure many of you don't think so, but I've really enjoyed the past 17. I don't live in WNY anymore and when I go to my Bills backer bar every week I really feel a sense of solidarity that I don't see with other teams, but I don't know maybe I just have blinders on. Anyways, all the losing seems to make for better fans and for that I'm grateful. Go Bills!
  7. I did. Made fun of Rex and the Jets. It was terrible when I found out I was going to have to like him.
  8. "It's too bad Doug Marrone had to go, but at least he left his fashion sense."
  9. I had a nightmare last night that Hoodie was our coach. No joke. I'll pass on the standing o too.
  10. b/c they have nfl experience to consider. What about the hit rate on free agents?
  11. Even if the value is there for a kicker in the first you could still probably have him in the second. I was hoping the Bills might spend a late 3rd on Aguayo.
  12. I think Rex stays regardless. I think the only way he gets the boot is if the defense takes a serious step backward. If we finish 25 or worse they have to let him go, otherwise he'll get another chance. You just can't fire your coach every two years, it doesn't matter if they **** the bed, so long as it isn't every week.
  13. No idea, but it seems unlikely.
  14. Ryan also said that middle three up front would move to any of those spots. So the whole center of the field will be unpredictable. As such we didn't get a nose tackle.
  15. A lot of people have a soft spot in their hearts for Fitz, and he's proven that he really likes the Bills too or at least that he still thinks he plays for them sometimes when he's on the field. Plus, its the most interesting story this offseason with plenty of new coverage. 50 here we come.
  16. I've never seen so many articles mentioning a back up QB since deflate gate was a hot news item. Even with Brady's suspension currently in effect Manuel seems to be making more headlines than Jimmy G. What am I missing? He's a quiet respectful kid projected as a 3rd rounder with production that is unsurprising for his position and projection. I get that we took him in the first but come on, there have been plenty of first round busts more interesting than Manuel. My speculative side wonders whether the Bills media new media policy wasn't a reaction to how the press handled the QB controversy last year (in particular with Manuel) and maybe all the new articles about EJ are just a reaction to that policy. Thoughts?
  17. I can't imagine any benefit to him in talking about anything like this. It just sounds like another reporter whining about access like they are owed something.
  18. never forgive never forget
  19. yep, just reeks of incompetence. or maybe laziness. i guess he didn't think anyone would keep reading. more fool us.
  20. Rex is sloppy. If I had to describe him in a word that would be it. Everyone says he's brilliant and people like him but he will always be sloppy. Unfortunately he won't be brilliant everyday.
