He's a scumbag because he is gleefully mean spirited. To me it went beyond making a joke, or being critical. It seems like poor form to go after a poor player in such a way. Maybe I don't watch enough sports commentary but Cowherd seemed like he wanted to be a dick because he could.

Thats a little more than I thought. I don't expect him to play out his entire contract. i don't like counting other people's money, but while we're at it peterman made a lot of money for other people during his college career. its strange to me that people think any amount of abuse and ridicule is justified either because Nate doesn't deserve his money or is rich. By all accounts peterman has overachieved for his natural talent and draft position.

Value of that 1st pick is way more than the 7th. We can get way more for the 1st overall than we gave up for the 7th. We can probably get a haul if there's a decent QB prospect, which we'll need with all the holes we have.

I think its what people should be focused on. The kinds of picks Peterman seems likely to throw don't just kill drives they kill games. Several of his throws were nearly taken back the other way. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think you can avoid throwing to the sidelines. I'm all for letting him start. He has had the best preseason, and I think he's earned it. But he's still not the best player right now imo.

Peterman might have had the best preseason, but his throws have not changed my thinking that he's a pick 6 machine.

true, it would just be interesting to see how they're doing though. Unless they're superstars or superbusts I have no idea how good non bills players are and where they were drafted.
