  1. it would be so much more interesting if they broke down the draft classes from 3 years ago.
  2. Now you've made me overly optomistic
  3. I can't remember a time I found preseason half as interesting!
  4. I agree, but I don't think this one should count.
  5. a taste in just five days!
  6. To be fair, game 3 of the preseason will be the preeminent test of how strong the kool-aid is. And since we're Bills fans this will pretty much set the tone for the season.
  7. there's a lot of room between an allegation and enough evidence to prosecute. also, the nfl can suspend you for things that might not be criminal.
  8. Seems like decent coaching alone should get you more than 3 wins. There's a lot of parity in the nfl, and a lot of coaching churn.
  9. Wish I could have the interest on that, even for just six weeks.
  10. Our kicker will have more opportunities to practice in different types of weather. If this doesn't actually improve his ability to kick off of snow it should at least give him a better sense of what his limits or chances are from certain distances. Personally I think a little practice would improve their chances quite a bit. Although I guess its a nonissue.
  11. I'm looking forward to it. I think it will create some interesting and unconventional decisions. Plus it should give our kickers an advantage, as they'll have more opportunities to practice.
  12. Everyone knows they're the best throwback ever.
  13. Yes, I think they'll approach the cap that way. I think Star's contract is the only time they really "over-paid) for a guy from another team. Almost all their other FA contracts seem like a really good deal (at the time). They've definitely spent money on our existing roster like extra bonuses for Shady (when they didn't have to), Woods restructure, and I think there's been some others.
  14. Totally agree, we've been very efficient with spending for the most part. I think most of that has been out of necessity though. It will be interesting to see what happens once they get past the dead cap of another staff's players. We might be seeing a lot more like Star's contract.
  15. I knew it was time to stop reading when it wasn't actually a list but a slide show.
  16. Quit trolling Irv! Yea this is what Irv does.
  17. I'm no expert but I'm guessing there's a reason AJ was the only one standing when the music stopped playing. I'm sure there's a reason we didn't trade Tyrod for less than a 3rd too.
  18. I haven't read all six pages, but I"m going to pick the low hanging fruit anyway. 1. We'll see a more confrontational relationship between McDermott and the media/some fans. 2. A major position group will get exposed due to injury/underproduction. 3. 2018 won't answer the question of who our "franchise" QB will be and 65% of posts on the board will be QB related.
  19. No quote or comment? Just a link to a paywall?
  20. Don't think you can be the best when you can't play. It's not like the reason is anything other than breaking the rules to give you an edge. Maybe if the other receivers start doping we can make a meaningful comparison.
  21. If his departure is considered a retirement it definitely changes the cap implications, otherwise there wouldn't be fighting about it.
  22. The wonderlic hasn't been shown to have a positive correlation with QB performance. But it has been shown to have a negative correlation with CB play.
