Probably a combination of both. He was basically saying to the Texans that they weren't good enough for him (or he was better than them) so it's not surprising that they are bitter about it.
But I also dont think that we will see him get better, or even get close to the level where he used to play. This was his last chance to get a bigtime contract, and he came out on top, IMO. But I doubt there is a super bowl in AZ's future because of the signing.
The guy already lives on a sprawling cantaloupe farm in Cali, he doesnt need the money that bad. He can wait another year. And if he gets hurt, he goes back and kills it in the cantaloupe business. He's in a win-win situation no matter what.
I think hes a prime candidate to restructure his deal. Maybe not this offseason, but probably by the end of the year. Just my opinion, but I dont think he'll hold out. And I dont think hes satisfied yet to just go after a payday no matter what. I think he wants a Super Bowl win and sees a chance to do it with the Bills.
That's a good callout by him. So far, the Bills didnt win it, the Ravens lost it.
It's going to take more time, or possibly a Super Bowl win, to change the mindset that these jokers come with.
The 60 minutes is a good callout.
How many times this year did we see them with a lead and still out there throwing the ball? In the past, it was 3 runs into the line and a punt. It helps that they have the confidence and talent to do that now.
For one, Daryl Johnson was hurt last week and on the injury report this week, so it made sense to activate Trent tonight. He's a solid player when he is healthy, and as others said, hes well rested after about 8 weeks of inactive.
