I forget about that guy until I look at an old thread and see his spam all over it. When he did have an actual opinion, it was terrible. Good riddance!

One of the best threads ever.

Taron Johnson and Milano used to be deadly vs screens (RB screens, bubbles, etc). I think their level of play this week could make or break the game for the Bills. Lions are the best screen team in football and our defense in the past has been very successful limiting them.

Which coordinator are you gonna fire for this one?

More of a coaches assistant than a mascot. Cole and Edwards didn't work out as planned, so Micah makes more sense than some random PS signing this late in the season. I guess my point is that if it comes down to him playing anytime soon, it won't be a good thing. But his experience in the defense could make up for some of the long ramp up time that it takes to go from the couch to game shape.

I don't think he's going to play, despite all the hype. I think this is a locker room move 1st, and then just insurance in case Hamlin, Rapp, and Cole go down. I also think it's McD throwing him a bone and bringing him back for the run since he's well loved by the players and fans. But if he has to play, I think we'll all be disappointed by what we see. There is no way he's in any sort of game shape, and he won't get there between now and January.

Actually they're 7-0 after losing 2 straight games under Babbich.

Both had big catches in the game. It's obvious that Mahomes trusts Hopkins already, similar to Josh & Cooper. But I think Cooper made more of an impact, despite the hurt wrist. By having Cooper out there and able to catch those sideline balls, it kept the KC defense honest.

It definately looks that way. Early in the year he struggled against alot weaker talent than Chris Jones.

Fines are levied on Wednesday, so probably tomorrow you'll see the same fine that the Colts guy got, about $11k. -

It's the bigger picture. Guys switching from regular milk to almond milk. It's finally catching up with all these weaklings. -

Cooper says he plans to play Sunday with a cast!

A cast is a good weapon for a throat punch or clothesline if the game gets ugly. -
Our two tackles do the same thing that Taylor does except they get called for it at least once or twice a game. He does seem to do it worse than anyone else in the league though. Refs will play a part in this game, for sure. If the CBs of KC can get handsy with our terrible WRs, it's not going to go well for our passing game and will allow them to stack the box.

Yeah, if he catches the one about halfway through the 2nd quarter, it's a big gain. The problem was that the ball was rifled through about 4 guys and Cook wasn't ready for it. It's not very often that we see a clean screen that's blocked well, sold well, and thrown in a place where the RB can get moving up the field.
-
He failed on 3rd and 3 and on 4th and 3 in the first quarter. Neither time was he past the sticks and he didn't catch either. The first one (3rd down) he was covered pretty well by the nickle corner. I don't know if they went back to him much after that. That's the story of his time here. They try and get him going but nothing has worked so far.

It could happen. Gilliam was hurt last week or the week before so not sure what he has going on. We'll have Knox and Morris, but not sure who else beyond those two.

What is the future of the AFC East?
Captain_Quint replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
I may be in the minority, but I think Miami has a run in them to finish the season. It would have to go perfectly for them to make the playoffs, as we pretty much have the division sewn up. But their offensive talent is undeniable when the backs and WRs are healthy and Tua is playing. Their offensive line has taken a step forward this year too. The defense is pretty bad, but if they score 30 or 40 points, they could stack some wins. I think that in this past game, if we don't slow the game down by giving up the run and staying fast on Hill and Waddle, they maybe score 45 and take the game. But as far as next year, they will now have the Tua contract to contend with and some decisions to make. -
We won three games against the same team in 2021 and then again in 2024. Pretty impressive, no matter the team.
