What’s going on with practices/warmups

He's still stretching out and warming up. Get ready for the windmill dunks this week.

Game week thread - Chiefs at Bills (Video preview on pg. 19)
Captain_Quint replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was just trying to remember the team that did that a couple years back. I could see that happening, too. As some have said in here, I think I'd prefer to keep this game vanilla and see what happens. It just seems like when we see the Chiefs in the playoffs, our gameplan is to replicate what we did in the regular season, and Spag/Reid have it squashed. Try something different, and make it drastic, and it could take their coaching out of the playoff game enough to squeeze by them. -
Carson Wentz to have season ending shoulder surgery
Captain_Quint replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Forgot about that comment, but I found it weird when watching the game. Basically saying QBs should never show that they're in pain because his teammates will see it. -
Wait - The Falcons Were Coming Off Their Bye

If the logic holds true, then we should come out this week sharp, and have a hell of a first half. Who is confident that this will happen? -
I picture McD in front of his computer reading a clickbait article called '5 Weird Tricks to help your Neck'.

Any Mafia folks know where to get a good cheesesteak in Philly?
Captain_Quint replied to Roundybout's topic in Off the Wall
John's Roast Pork has great cheesesteaks and great pork sandwiches. DiNics in Reading Terminal has been winning best in show for awhile. Phillips Steaks was my hidden gem in South Philly, somewhere like 17th & Passyunk. American or Cooper sharp with onions, as others said is the way to go. -
Just for different reasons.

OCTOBER 19: Around the NFL, Week 7
Captain_Quint replied to Ridgewaycynic2013's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jags getting beat like this at their future home. Not a good look. -
I still think that the year where they ran out of gas sticks in the players minds who were here. Josh, Dawkins, coaching staff, etc. And in the years following, they go through these valleys of poor play for two or three games. But its hard to tell when you're in the midst of one of the valleys exactly what is going on. Nobody is going to come out and say that they are holding back for playoffs.

Real prophetic, DaVinci.. ..

Yeah, I think Anderson started the season listed as the backup to all three interior line spots.

Why doesn't McDermott call the Defensive plays full time??
Captain_Quint replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
When McD calls the plays, it takes away from his head coaching responsibilities, like calling defensive timeouts and clapping. I think his new clear glasses may be fogging up his brain. -
Which is a huge problem to correct at this point in the year if Pegula is thinking about pulling the plug on Beane and McD. It would probably come in January, like he did before. Realistically, we need two offseasons to correct this lack of talent and change schemes to something that works while also changing coaching staffs and all of that Noise. Josh would be like 33 if that happens so you (in theory) have another small Super Bowl window with Josh in his mid thirties before it slams shut.

They have also lost two games in a row for the past 5 years. Even with three 13 win seasons, they dropped two games in a row every year. And alot of them are to inferior opponents or teams that we could have beat if we brought our A game that day. So we'll see how 2025 plays out now that we have dropped 2 in a row. We should have a string of wins coming up if we continue this same trend. We've also never dropped 3 straight in that same time period.

10/13/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Falcons MNF Gameday Thread
Captain_Quint replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
If there is one person who could break us in half its Robinson. I say 100 on the ground and 50 in the air for Bijan. I still think we win but I bet he goes off. He's having a solid year. -
Some changes you would like to see this week
Captain_Quint replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
Two games in a row where we trotted out a downfield passing attack as the gameplan. Hopefully Brady is seeing that it doesn't matter who is throwing the ball, if the receivers are covered and can't get open. -
Bills/Dolphins in Miami question
Captain_Quint replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
A great Bills hotel in FtL is the Embassy Suites. It's a little older but will be packed full with Bills fans. Good breakfast buffet in the morning, too. -
Sauce Gardner is crying, but does he have a point?
Captain_Quint replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
The NFL wanted him to be the next star and turned their head until enough media people, fans, coaches, etc talked about it. Now they are actually calling it like it happens and he acts like its some conspiracy. Overrated from day 1. Love that he is part of the Jets wheel of mediocrity. -
To me it seems like the LBs need to fit it up a little better with the new DLine. The secondary has to do a better job of fitting it up as well. Overall, we really need to fit it up better.

Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF
Captain_Quint replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I watched the game last week and I think they had 4 or 5 fumbles, three by the starting RB. So ball security can be an advantage for us if that continues.
