  1. My bad.... All the more reason as we see what he did with a competent QB in his final season (#1 & 2 receivers were Juju and Diante Johnson).😉
  2. He's played for no QB's and put up great #'s as a rookie. Would have been a cheap price to pay and a big target, which is a good fit here. Hate that Miami got him, but certainly not enough balls to go around. His stats are the same if not better than Gabe with worse QB's. Would have come cheap.
  3. I never said it was dysfunctional, just disjointed at times as if they aren't sure what they want to do (in my eyes). Baltimore has brought in more and m ore receivers and Jackson is still Jackson, but hopefully more weapons and his "escapability" will result in better results. Remember too he did win an MVP. Herbert throws the ball a lot more then Allen and the Bills and that is his strength. Mahomes too passed the ball a lot more last year (coinciding with Dorsey's first year). The last 3 games have been blowouts (took a while vs. Washington) and only one 300 yard passing game. What I'm saying is there still is a lot more that Josh is capable of imo.
  4. Again 3 games where everything went right and the defense got all the breaks and bounces (except one deflected Tua pass). Happy with what I've seen, but still see more can be done.
  5. And this is where I always get upset (throw in Lamar Jackson too). These three have offenses in place that do a much better job of playing top their strengths, which I still am not sure the Bills do. Rushing for Hurts & Jackson and Passing the ball with Herbert. As others have pointed out only Mahomes is close to Allen, however has the better offensive game plan.
  6. 95% of the time I can tell it will be a run play called and yes Diggs is one of many reasons I'm tipped off. The first two plays vs. the Raiders they went to the line and basically said to the Raiders "We're running the ball, because Josh was a bad boy vs. the Jets😉"
  7. And that is my worry too and why I get so much flack here. I really think this coaching staff has impeded Josh's growth and potential in so many ways and if fully unleashed he'd put up more ridiculous #'s. The last three games have been cakewalks, but could have been even worse beatings if they did some things differently (not that they needed to). We've talked about the red zone and for the most part Josh hasn't run at all either. Add to that Kincaid and passes between 10-20 yards are down for now. The next test will be how the Bills respond in a tighter game, maybe some bad breaks, and if they fall behind by more then a score. They failed that vs. NYJ.
  8. There always are some people here who have to bang the drum about running. Yes having a running game is nice but it is all about the QB play 90% of the time. Sorry name me all of them Mahomes wonderful running backs. New England won their Super Bowls on the back of Brady not some running back. Marino simply just never had the best team however he was the best quarterback. And don't forget a few of those years were against the Buffalo Bills. Also a defense that gets the ball back to the offense doesn't hurt.🤣
  9. And the defense allowed way too many big plays and third down conversions. Regardless the Bills had the ball last and wasted too much time and easily should have been 10 yards minimum closer. A lot of blame to go around that game.
  10. There was a lot of reasons for the loss. To put the blame solely on Levy is not fair to him.
  11. If ever there was a LAMP post/thread!!!! Absolutely right, which is when we see bad play calling or coaching, we get more upset as the Bills have the best weapon in the NFL (some debate vs. Mahomes). That is why too I thought coaching let him down years 1 & 2 and we still don't see his full potential either.
  12. And Cincy's line was held together by duct tape too. Old news, over and done with and the Bills just were not great from November on last year (forget their record)
  13. Again discussed over and over, incredibly flat and coaches/coaching/playcalling didn't help. Let's hope November 5th (along with February 11, 2024) is circled on their calendars.
  14. Mahomes was beyond bad and they blew it just before the half. As for Buffalo, the whole second half of the season despite the record just seemed off. Add to that the weather, off field issues, Demar just made things worse. Can go back and see countless threads discussing it and many scoffed at. As bad as the D was vs. Cincy, Allen and offense was nearly as bad.
  15. Throw out his rookie year and thank McD for the first 2 years and he is 99.28 in the last 3.25 years or #5......😉
  16. These are simply observations. Gabe is great when the Bills win by 20-40 points. When the chips are down and the game is in doubt, is Gabe a good # 2 who will make that big/tough reception? I asked the question last year that outside Diggs, how many tough catches do the Bills receivers make. Waiting for that first contested grab on a long pass (yea yea, Gabe vs. Pitt last year is the only one I remember ever).
  17. The top receivers are all about 9-10 and that better include Diggs. And this is Josh Allen a the qb. Quick stat 2022 Mahomes completed 265 passes to WR's, Burrow 242, Herbert 260, Hurts 231, Goff 233, Cousins 275, Brady 297 & Allen only 225. The Bills #1 weapon is Allen, use him.
  18. Again not the point. What did he do in week one (two catches, four targets)? As the #2 stats should be better with Allen as the QB. Regardless as I pointed out he is right at his 2022 #'s, which weren't great.
  19. 6-10 Targets only????? Geez could you imaging how pissed any elite receiver would be with only 8/game? Should be a minimum 10/gm. As for Gabe, he has averaged 3 catches/game. 51 receptions for the year would have ranked him 75th in the league!!!!! But geez only 48 last year (33rd in yards). BTW Zay Jones had 82 catches last year.🤪 Need way more from him.
  20. Two things.... Miami moved the ball, the Bills got the takeaways and last three possessions were TO's on downs. Their fan site is garbage and no one is on there in any case. Simple point is last nights KC/Jets game has 30 odd replies on the thread, vs. 900 here!!!!
  21. The Turn Over (TO) numbers are not sustainable, but conversely I still see a lot more upside on the offense. Heck Gabe our #2 WR has only 12 receptions, TE room for improvement and Allen hasn't rushed too much yet either.
  22. And Diggs broke a tackle. Cook was a result of Allen's ability to improvise. Here is a great site. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-wr.php Diggs obviously is tops on the Bills, but this too is how his routes develop and how Allen's skills are utilized.
