  1. So I used a little hyperbole in some posts. I'm just making a point. The question is why is Josh not making better decisions and what happened to the Josh that was in 2020 & 2021. Somewhere around the middle of 2022 things changed and my worry is that the game plans and schemes have resulted in frustration and Allen thinking he needs to do more. Look at Diggs and how he reacted during and has after the Cincy game. Sorry tells me something is off. Didn't watch the Jets game (and happy for that). Miami will be the test and I look forward to a week of armchair coaches going on about Allen managing the game, TOP and keeping Miami off the field. Sorry I think Allen needs to throw for 350 (maybe 400+) and the Bills convert in the red zone.
  2. What I'm tired of reading is the # who have turned on Allen and ready to turn him into an athletic game manager and Dorsey and McD need to reign him in. Look at this thread and how many seem so happy with "Game Management" Josh (especially vs. the Raiders). I'm sure that's what Chiefs fans want from Mahomes too.....🤪
  3. Better in September than in January/February. Still however looks like some of the issues we saw from the Jets game on in 2022,
  4. Read the title. I said over-reacting.. I also after a win made observations as to what I saw. Better to address areas for concern after a win, then come here and do it after a loss. Do a search leading up to the playoffs last year and these are pretty much the same concerns and the playoff opponents were not the LV Raiders and Washington Commanders. Trust me, I hope I am over-reacting.
  5. It was only 16-0 through 3. If Howell didn't make mistake after mistake and yes score on the 4th & goal, it was a game. While the game was never in doubt, it certainly was closer then it should have been through 3. And what was he then doing in 2020 and 2021???? Geez he was awful vs. The Jets I've been told, but what happened to 2020 Josh that some here thinks he needs to be neutered by McD?
  6. Miss you too...... And I miss 300 yard passing games. No way Allen shouldn't be throwing for 300+. 215 only yesterday. But of course take it personally like you work for the Bills offense. I made an observation and as expected the usual excuses fly. It was a very good win yesterday, but no way does this work vs. Miami.
  7. I'd rather be posting this after a 37-3 win then a 27-13 loss (see Cincy 2023).
  8. Been there, done that for too long. We have Josh Allen now, which means automatically the Bills are a top 5 offense.
  9. BTW to get off the Offense for a while. The Buffalo D has faced a "Murderers Row" of Zach Wilson, JimmyG & Sam Howell through 3 weeks.....
  10. Surprise surprise, defending McD again. You are one of the best posters here, but it is so often a McD defense. Heck you know way more too about football than I do, as I rely on the eye test (not wearing rose-coloured glasses). We have the most explosive qb in football (1 & 1a Mahomes) and as said two lopsided victories, but I am concerned as to what I see on offense. I hope I'm completely wrong, but much better to talk about it now after back to back blowouts then after a loss. Sorry McD, you don't do that to Allen.
  11. So again the fact some here (yes me included) thought the Bills offense was not great at the end of last year (and we all saw the Cincy game) and were told by the likes of you that we were wrong, has nothing to do with still seeing some of the same this year? Beat Miami 45-42 and next week I'll go on about the defense.....😉🤣
  12. Yes you can always throw out Allen Scrambles, as they were not designed plays. Up 30-0 at the end of the game, yes it is going to be rushing plays, and prior to that the running game was meh. And one catch from Gabe is not enough.
  13. Again take a look at the conversions and basically it is as usual because of Josh. I get it, you are a glass half full guy. I'm sure you said the exact same thing down the stretch last year, when a # of us expressed concerns with the offence. How did that workout vs. Cincy? The Bills were fine yesterday, just making an observation that the Offense. Have the Bills won 6 Super Bowls? Did I miss something?
  14. Again the Bills had barely 300 yards offense prior to the last drive. They had 58 yards rushing (taking away Allen's runs) prior to the 64 yard drive at the end.
  15. Yep those big runs in the 4th quarter when the game is over looks great on the stat line. The Bills blew the Jets game, which makes this week that much more important and regardless of the points the Bills have scored, the offense needs to be better. Davis dropped one yesterday.
  16. Agree with 90%, but one catch by Davis and very little from the TE's for the most part to date. Not really easy passes over the middle (outside Diggs). Yesterday the defense pounced on everything (and 9 sacks). That's an anomaly. The Bills were just okay on offense and this has been the case going back a while (not just 2023). With Josh, that's not acceptable imo.
  17. Shhhhh!!!! That's not allowed here as no one wants to hear that. Yep bang on and remember saying the exact same down the stretch last year and being drowned out. Bills fans think they can turn it on whenever they want and the issue right now is Dorsey's offense, which should be improving as he gets experience has actually been stuck in neutral for the most part.
  18. Great so McD has decided to take away their greatest strength Josh Allen and put a muzzle on him? Maybe he can do the same thing with Mahomes?
  19. As I said over-reaction and pretty sure they need to be better vs. Miami, but who knows. Lot's of third & 10's and similar and oops forgot to mention 4th down issues.
  20. Yep 75 points the last two weeks (7 by the defense) and a very scary Miami team this week. Yesterday was never in doubt, but face it the Bills only had 16 points entering the 4th. Been said in other threads and not ready to state this is a serious issue, but the Offense just seems a little off (and let's forget about the Jets game). Week two I commented the red zone was somewhat of a slog and while the Bills moved up and down the field, it was primarily dinks and dunks and little over the middle. No screens, TE's seem underutilized and none of those 20 yard lasers Allen is great at. Yesterday a great TD pass to Davis (his only catch of the day) and a few bb's to Diggs, three big scrambles by Josh and the last drive 64 yards rushing (with the game over), but again the offense I hope is a work in progress as I am not seeing a team firing on all cylinders. As said hope it is just an over-reaction.
  21. If the Bills eek out a close win, sorry yes a wins a win, but will not bode well. Of course then the cup half full side of me will say that "The Bills learned they can't take things for granted". How many times have we "Fans" said that over the past 3 years????😉
  22. I love the 180 that happens here..... All of a sudden the Bills offense is unstoppable and works to perfection as long a Allen dinks and dunks and the Bills are rushiong 7-8 yds/carry. There was a ton to like, however yes I hated that first drive, where after the Jets game I knew even though down 7-0 it was going to be runs on first & second down. This week it is Washington who irrespective of their 2-0 record are not a good team, so expect yes a 20+ point victory and anything less will be a disappointment. Again want to see more of the intermediate ball that Allen was lethal with in 2020-22.
  23. Again you forget McD is the saviour of this franchise. He is a decent coach, but has his flaws. The Bills generally win or lose due to Allen as regardless how he plays, every opposing coach is scheming on both sides of the ball how to beat the Bills. This is the same with Mahomes as they are the two most dynamic qbs in football and you go into every game figuring out how the offence will score 27-30 vs. Buffalo or KC, control TOP and the defence holds them under 24. Yes plenty of games where they don't score that many (see first two weeks KC), but that doesn't mean the game plan changed. You don't want to see Mahomes or Allen on the field.
