  1. I like her and fine when her songs come on the radio, but boy was that a nondescript halftime show. Then I go online and everyone's saying how wonderful it was. Am I missing something?
  2. I am staying on this site way too long, discussing a game 2.5 weeks old, which while they never deserved to win, funny that I can point out a few plays and next thing you know it would have been a game, the crowd back in it and maybe too the players. With Allen, this team is still a SB contender next year and just about ready to pull the plug and sign off 'til September. I'm not a draft guy (of course follow it) or X & O's, again watch some film now and replay certain plays.
  3. Something happened and there was a disconnect with Allen & the offense the second half. You could see it and not sure what it was. After the Pitt game, there were less long balls and then all of a sudden then there was a huge uptick & not sure what happened. Cover 1 I'm sure is correct, but something happened and either Allen was missing reads or coaching was flawed imo. I also mentioned that Allen seemed to be pressing as he felt pressure and often the Defense would allow those long drives and Allen would be overanxious when back in. I used the first NYJ game and 7-8 minute drives and Allen then wanting to score immediately. Bad timing....😉
  4. Welcome back.... Wanted too to say my goodbye to you prior to my hiatus until September😉. I don't disagree, plenty of blame to go around. I talked about drops, but frankly was more bothered about the lack of contested or tough catches by the team. And don't disagree there either, but again I see coaching as part of the reason for the regression. I clearly think to the Minny game and that stupid 4th & goal, where even I wanted to kick a fg. Then OT when it looked like the Bills would salvage it and a TD. Plenty of options to get closer and a FD and when Allen threw it, it looked effortless and I was expecting a wide open receiver and a TD and instead a simple int. Allen hadn't done that since his second season. I was shocked. What I said too over and over is we never saw easy receptions or receivers running open/separation. Every catch seemed like it needed to be a perfect pass. Everything seemed a slog imo.
  5. I actually did, as Dorsey called me after and confirmed it.....😝 That play bothered me (like many others), because there was still hope and I envisioned a Brady-like comeback and while a perfect pass, it was to Davis and we know what he is often want to do. Add to that Cincy played smart, no penalties and the Bills called for a #.
  6. They made plays because the defense let them. They had 3 OL's out and the Bills had no pressure. Yes the Bills secondary was decimated, but how about making a play, stepping up or a defensive scheme that made it difficult for Cincy to get thnings done. It wasn't 2-3 plays, they moved the ball at will and had 30 first downs. Oh & no TO's. Not surprised because I thought they were not very good the second half of the season either and many were lucky or vs. bad QB's. On the Offensive side, the Bills as they had been much of the second half of the season were/looked disjointed. Again so many here claimed that wasn't the case when anyone brought it up and that Allen only had to protect the ball better. When they needed just 1 first down prior to the half to get into FG range (heck 5 yards), that should have been their goal and the play calls. First & goal the second half and 3 lousy calls by Dorsey. And to top it off again 3rd & 2 and a long pass to the one receiver we all know won't make a contested catch, draw a penalty and if at all covered probably drops it Davis, and exactly what happened.
  7. 17-0.... Playoffs will be a crapshoot.
  8. I'm still a Bills fan and can only hope. Seems McD/Frazier are a package deal and pray the offense does enough to cover up their deficiencies.
  9. Just letting my frustrations out. All good and yep know it's a game. Will see you in September.😗
  10. I am about to take my annual February- September break. As said McD and the band are back, I'll cheer the Bills in 2023 and already expect Allen & the Bills to win the SB in spite of McD et al. Appreciate you being on top of it.
  11. And the excuses keep coming. Cincy was on a hot streak, but were not blowing out or dominating opponents (compare that to the 2020 Bills down the stretch). They are a very good team, as are the Chjiefs (who too had tight games down the stretch). The difference was the Bills did nothing vs. Cincy and were "out coached". When others brought up concerns about coaching from the GB game on, as the win streak continued, were told "You don't understand, only winning matters, not how you win" or similar. Everyone could see things were off and this was particularly due to COACHING.
  12. I vomited at the thought of Bill as the HC!!! McD isn't getting fired. Only hope is that he and Pegula get into a huge fight over philosophy. I will be over the moon if the Bills win the SB next year with McD/Frazier/Dorsey et al. Go on all you want about the regular season, however with Allen, the results sorry are a given +- 1 to 2 games. This is Allen's team that will go as far as he takes them.
  13. Why posted today, everyone knows it and has been a bone of contention all year? Caught one contested pass all year (vs. Pitt). Wanted/hoped for more and never happened.
  14. Regardless it's over and done with and McD is back as head coach. We can only hope that he has learned. First and foremost will be what happens in free agency and the draft. And yes 2023 will be Superbowl or bust in my opinion. Anything less is unacceptable (barring an Allen injury). However what I expect from the Stadium Wall will be excuses if the Bills come up short.
  15. Regardless he was the 7th pick and was to be the missing piece. The Bills went 6-10 his rookie season, needed to bring him in and push him and let him learn on the job and more repetition and passing. BTW Tyrod threw for 300 with Rex and of course couldn't with McD and I'm still astounded he went 42 games without a single 300 yard passing game. It only emphasises his conservative and defensive nature.
  16. Remember we are told that the Bills were 13-3 this year. It is the one defense heard over and over. This is a fan board and the many here look to McD as a messiah, who turned around a 2-14 team and made them into a juggernaut. I say over and over he took over a team that yes I guess had issues and salary cap problems, but were in the playoff hunt in 2016 and lost in OT week 16. McD took that team (a meaningless loss in week 17) and went from 7-9 to 9-7 and a Dalton miracle to the playoffs. Then they drafted Allen and decided to tear down the offense even more the following year and named NATAN PETERMAN the starter, when they had the #7 pick that needed to be fast-tracked or mentored by a veteran early in the season. They went 6-10. Now 4 straight playoffs, but all ended badly (and three pointing the finger at coaching). And I have to again point out how this coaching staff coddled and stunted Allen. 300 yards passing is generally used as a starting point with QB's. It took Allen 28 starts to pass that # (part of McD's incredible 42 game stretch). A look at his peers. Burrow - 300 yards game 2 and 5X's in 10 games for a putrid Cincy team his rookie season Mahomes - First game 284, 300 third game (and scary how easy thereafter). Rodgers - Third game (yes I know on the bench behind Favre, not Peterman). Lawrence - Game 1!!!! Pickett - Game 1 (had to throw him in as it was vs. the Bills)🤣. Jackson - Game 8 Herbert - Game 1!!! Prescott - Game 9, however 8-1 and every game prior 227-290 yards
  17. To say McD's success is highly tied to Allen? Yes I think 80% of McD's success and the accolades are due the Allen's being their qb. Appreciate the response. I was continually railed for stating what I thought was McD's training wheels he put on Allen years 1 and 2. Can you imagine of Peterman was just bad that first game, as opposed to having a second epic failure? Allen may have waited another 8 games+. As with it seems Frazier, McD doubled down on Peterman. But we are where we are and only have hope.
  18. Called coaching and seemed the later in the season, the more frustrated he was and we saw more long balls. They had plenty of time to design an offense that worked. And how about some easy passes and separation by the receivers. Defenses figured out Dorsey the second half.
  19. And again that is all about coaching. It is something they would have looked at I would imagine and said "we got improve on this". It's about recognizing an issue and doing something. Then why did they even trade for Hines? Again water under the bridge and I hope it improves in 2023 that's all I have hope.
  20. Btw he caught 52 (8 the second game) in 11 regular season games for the 49ers. And I have it 80% due to Allen. So no I don't think there'd be an issue
  21. Christian McCaffrey seemed to pick up the 49'ers. Then why make a trade if you aren't going to use them at what he does best? Again this is coming from a person who is wondering why they aren't using the backs as receivers and screens more often. again what do I know?
  22. near the top and just showed a great shot on 8.
  23. They acquired Hines who is a great back out of the back field and a pass catcher. Guess what this great coaching staff did with him and his large salary? They didn't throw him the ball or have him involved in the offense. How much confidence does that give you?
