  1. That 4th & two and Dawson Knox dropping the pass (know it won't go down as a drop, but it was) was a perfect example of Josh no longer using his feet. Old Josh would easily have picked up two plus there and it was available. I too am shouting at the TV to run. OL has been terrible too.
  2. The question was does Allen have the same success with Rex as with McD. No brainer that Allen would have been the focal point from day 1 with Rex, Peterman wouldn't have been named the 2018 syaryer and Allen's skills would have been fast tracked. Again conjecture, but either you buy into McD or you don't. I never have. He's a good coach too reliant on defence, not a great one.
  3. Probably more because Rex's offenses before McD were competent. Mc D's ranked 31, 29 & 24th his first three seasons!!!!!
  4. It is revisionist history that that McD and fans of "the Process" repeat over and over.
  5. Anyone saying they should have accepted the penalty is absolutely wrong. Allowing Mac Jones to own you the majority of the game and engineer an effortless game winning TD drive, when all they needed was a fg to get the game to OT is pathetic. Yea, keep on repeating it enough times and we'll all believe it. Andy Dalton got them in the playoffs. Riddle me this. If Andy Dalton doesn't throw that TD pass, are you still saying the same about McD?
  6. Again he took a 7-9 teams eliminated in OT the second last week of the season in 2016 and basically a 1 game improvement. Hoop de doo.....
  7. It was a great catchphrase for many here.....😜
  8. Any coach that allows Mac Jones to go 25-30 and a game winning 75 yard td drive, deserves it.
  9. But but injuries. Don't forget too the heroic game the defence played vs. Jacksonville Let the McD excuses fly. Where's Frazier when you need him?
  10. Nice to see one defense that can make Mac Jones look good😡
  11. Again try 10-16, but add up to the yards again 134 not 107, and of course a few ridiculous rushes, including one on 4th and 4..
  12. Check again as Allen's #'s wrong. And thanks for including OT. https://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay/_/gameId/401326633
  13. Remember, Josh too has now been told not to run. He has been reined in way too long. Yes some of us look at coaching and scratch our heads.
  14. So if they don't get to the Superbowl or win it, then who is to blame? Yes I think Josh Allen is the best player in the NFL,and yes held back by coaching. They better win multiple with him as that should be the floor.
  15. 2009 is 15 years not 23.... Roethlisberger, Eli Manning and Rogers all too in last 20 years.
  16. Pretty sure you're missing Brees in that list.
  17. I never said that what I said is I think McD has stunted Allen and that is my biggest concern about him. I then cited Pederson, McDaniel, Reid and Johnson as coaches who have had a big hand in their qbs' success.
  18. Good enough to keep many on the coaching staff employed and many overrated?🤣😜
  19. What???? Your obsession with me is scary. I've said over and over that McD is a decent coach, and damn I hope he and the Bills win a Superbowl this year. What I've never liked is how bad the offence was 2017-2019, the continual talk of "culture" and yep 13 seconds.
  20. Again yes we know on my threads it is popular, but go to any thread were one questions McD or his tenure and the person who posted it is eviscerated in the first post. Conversely praise McD and nothing but positive emoji's (looking at you eball). I hope none, but many link them and doesn't question McD's development of him (which I do and that infuriates some). Do you think McDermott should be credited with Allen's progress? I say this because Reid certainly has played a hand in Mahomes ascension, Pederson for Hurts, McDaniel for Tua, Ben Johnson (OC) for Goff's resurgence........
  21. There are many who do hold McD as the saviour of the franchise. Look at any thread questioning him and the emoji's that almost all are vomits, disagrees and negative as they disagree with any criticism. I will pound on the drum that McD has hindered more then helped Allen. The moves and money have been invested more in the defense then the franchise qb.
  22. Young was a top pick and TB gave up after 2 years, bit then Young also didn't play much behind Montana. He is a very interesting case. I was referr8ng to those who were considered busts and then had success. Alex Smith is a good example, but even end the end he was just above average when better coached.
  23. I was talking near the top first round picks. Some like Young after 2 years went to SF and languished a long time behind Montana before they got their chance. Others had glimpses but not much more imo. Manning doesn't count as he was a star. I was looking at duds, who then flourished elsewhere. Again a McD truther. He had Peterman start the 2018 year, so obviously thought more of Peterman then Allen at that point. Just because you don't agree with me, don't have to say that. I saw many things he should have done early to accelerate Allen's development. Thought he could have done things differently. Regardless we're here now.
