  1. We are all set in our ways. I do think I take other's opinions to heart, just don't agree with them. For instance I have moved on my opinion of McD. I do think he is a good coach and too realize that if the Bills win the Superbowl in the next few years he will almost assuredly be the HC, so damn right I need to cheer for him. Just won't give him the credit😜😉.
  2. And yes you are an interesting read. Don't always agree and you get into the weeds at times, but always something there to chew on.
  3. Interesting comment I read where a poster was admonishing others for whining and griping on the site. Had my pal😜😉 Teef call me out for only posting in the season and disappearing in January (let's hope February this year). Others come here to post and read about goings on around the NFL, signings, FA's, Draft and Coaches. Some are fun topics like pre-game meals, incidents, tailgates, stories about travel or stadium experience...... We have Virgil and Shaw writing up detailed reviews of the game. Thoughtful and insightful, though a little too much pro-McD from Shaw in some cases.😉 BTW Shaw's analysis is incredibly good. BTW where is he????? He hasn't posted since the Jags game. I come here just to discuss the Bills play and the good, bad & ugly. I'm a fan and this is my place to comment or vent and see how if others saw the same things, feel or react. Come Sunday after a bad play I'll see the reaction on the game day board and Monday, maybe I start a Thread or not (and await the few who lurk me to get upset with my post). I've said it many times that Josh Allen makes the team a top Superbowl contender (like Manning, Elway, Brees, Rodgers....) and yes some here are antsy as to when the Bills will get there. So why are you here?
  4. Okay as I am not a football nerd I do laugh when told that the Bills do not stack up well vs. the Bengals. Show me me some data? There is none because they seldom play. Almost like they are in the NFC of late. https://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/buffalo-bills/teamvsteam?opp=7 With Josh just coming into his own they played in 2019 and then last year. Talk about recency bias.
  5. Yep it will be on McD. When they win big, he certainly gets a lot of credit from what I see here.
  6. Replying then to the thread...... Don't get lost, get acclimated to the time difference and get some payback for last January.😜
  7. Every Monday night loss has an * imo. Sunday comes down to and you know what I will say...... McD being aggressive on offence and showing us some good schemes on defence. But again only one game and still will be positive about the Bills after.
  8. The defence needs to make way more stops and not allow long drives and big third down conversions. Don't need turnovers if they just flip the field once in a while. The offence conversely needs to be aggressive and Allen ready to run. I however don't come here for practice new updates or fake trades or the Bills 4th round pick in 2024. I come to see what others are talking about the Bills.
  9. I know exactly what you were trying to do. I just found it silly. For the most part the D has given up too many sustained drives and yards and allowed the NYG's to almost win the game and lost the game vs, NE. Yet I still hold out hope for them (the Defense).
  10. Wow the Bills really showed everyone with their play vs. Jimmy G & Sam Howell..... You got to be kidding??? Yes I know you are using Sam Howell as an example because he's played well vs. Philly. Next you'll go on about them stopping Tua (which Philly did too). Tua had a decent game, and Buffalo played well. And before you start I'm an optimist and all I want is 3-4 stops from the Bills Defense (i.e. Punts) and flipping the field and the Bills will win.
  11. Can't help yourself, can you???? More context as this was a comment made during the improbably McD run of 48 games with no 300 yard passing games and many games that I would categorize as "stinkers", where yes if the offense was opened up, maybe the results may have been different and too with Allen seen a quicker learning curve. Yes I'm a fan that loves a 38-35 slugfest (see Philly-Wash as an example), over the NYJ-NYG game last weekend. Will you just let it go????
  12. I said the same thing. Some people I don't think watched those games and now hail Cincy as a juggernaut. Like Denver (which they dominated) over KC. The Bills however let Mac Jones go 75 yards, which is not "Any Given Sunday"......😡😜
  13. Some people i.e. Royale with Cheese have a real chip on their shoulder, get very upset when McD is questioned and seem to take things way more personally then others. I'm much like you no expert but a passionate Bills fan who is concerned that with Allen this represents a window that may close quickly and want that SB win. The Bills made 4 straight SB's (didn't get it done), and then once Kelly was gone went through a drought. A little hope at the end of the century when a dynamic (not all-time great) QB came in (Flutie) and then came one of the all-time stupidest calls (Rob Johnson qb), followed by the drought. Sorry that some here are antsy and use this forum to vent.
  14. The one's pre-losing are generally the McD apologists. Prove me wrong.... Any team with Josh Allen as QB, should be winning 12+ games a year. Yes sometimes things go wrong, but too often losses of late can be hung on the coaching.
  15. Doesn't mean I don't still think the Bills are the better team, especially with Allen as their qb. Btw Cincy's defence has not been good, except inside their 10 yard line. This is an important game where they need to show their mettle. McD too needs to show he is a big game coach.
  16. Missing the point...... But you too are happy with the losses to the Jets, Jax & NE. You're in a good place & I'm happy for you.
  17. I was fine when the Bills were a run of the mill team. They aren't and they have the best QB in the NFL. No excuses.
  18. Good ahead and bring up the other 31 teams, I'll worry about the Bills.
  19. We can agree there. The Bills have been disappointing, however winning Sunday could be a turning point. This team can and should win. Sorry if I'm a homer.
  20. Of course it is hyperbole, but Mac Jones, who just a week earlier in the same situation vs. LV instead gave up a safety (and made a lot of bettors upset) in a similar situation. Couldn't get 2 plays off. Geez missing the point????
  21. And if Allen outplays Mahomes & Hurts then he will be the favourite. However right now at 15:1 that is a good bet. The whole thing however is silly in my book.
  22. Purdy put up 500 yards vs. them, threw awful interceptions (and a strip fumble), which was more on him then the Cincy defence. Geno Smith threw for over 300 too. I will however admit their D does tighten up around the goal line.
  23. You are a piece of work. There isn't a fan here who doesn't want the Bills to win every game. Last year, they were very close to it. 2021 they were probably even better but lost every close game. This is a very important game, and if the Bills lose you'll be okay, because Cincy is so superior to them, right????? But you keep being you.😜
  24. More than fair. I have had the Bills 16 or 17-0 the last 4 seasons, so yep I'm bound to be disappointed. Cincy is a good team and presents problems vs. the Bills, however I do think the Bills are the better team and if ever should be motivated (and looking past an opponent) this week it is. But the thread is appropo as Cincy is over hyped imo.
