  1. That's okay for some as you read through these threads and this is what drives me nuts. We should expect a win, a solid gameplan and everyone motivated.
  2. I agree, but the Pats playoff game frankly there was no reason the Bills shouldn't have steamrolled them as they did 2 weeks prior. This was the windstorm year and the Bills were a much superior team. Yes it was a perfect game, and this often is the issue, when all is going well, this team looks unstoppable.
  3. What are you on? Find me a single post where I've said the Bills lose. The only thing I do bang on is that I think McD is the one overrated here and is to be blamed for many of the shortcomings. Royale with Cheese you have some homework to do (and yes oldmanfan will bring up the 300 yard comment from 5 years ago) and find me where I was not optimistic.
  4. There are people who make excuses all the time and vs. Cincy, now it is that they are a way better team and that the Bills will lose. The excuses write themselves and actually a lot are exactly what was written leading into the Miami game. As a Bills fan and optimist I just don't think they fly. I expect a similar game to the Miami one, but closer, and what I want to see is the Bills offense not take their foot off the pedal (and the defense make a play or two to flip the field).
  5. Because the Offense slept walk most of the game and the Defense allowed 500 yards (yeah yeah, injuries). Make a stop and the offence play with urgency.
  6. Geez a McD Avatar tells me why you posted that. Will the Bills lose? Maybe, maybe not. The thread is "We're Overhyping the Bengals", which is 100% correct. The excuses never end from McD apologists (yes I said it).
  7. Was he dinged up vs. Seattle too? He was not very good that game.
  8. Sorry I posted a fact. BTW the Bills looked pretty unstoppable going into that game too.
  9. And I think the same about you. Who was the home team in those games and the betting favourite? I'll answer it for you..... The Bills. I expect them to win and yes vs. NE it was a joke as the Pats were a lousy team. Did the Bills as is often the case with this team, when all is going well look like the best team in a decade? Yes that is the Bills. They were unstoppable on offence and yes with Allen, I come to expect that. Miami put up 70, but were coming into Buffalo that too was looking pretty unstoppable after LV & Washington and Miami had no answer for the Bills Offence, so while they only scored 20, they did move the ball, but were too forced to play catch up. The Superbowl Champs looked tough, but we all see how far they fell last year (they were not a good team). Lamar in playoffs we know the book and again the Bills were the favourite at home. They were the better team. Actually my concern was the offense that day was meh. Again the Bills were one of the top 3 betting favourites for the SB and still are: https://www.thelines.com/odds/super-bowl/
  10. Until Miami beats a team with a winning record, I'll reserve judgement.
  11. This is the case with many of the posters here who just want an excuse if the Bills lose and have many here thinking the Bills are playing the most complete team in the NFL. The same will be said when the Bills play the Chiefs, Eagles, Dallas & LA, explaining one of the following: that their opponents just found their groove, WR's too fast QB's in the zone bad matchup Bills emotionally drained...... The Bengals D has been bad and they have 1.5 quality wins (SF and maybe Seattle who they put up all of 17 points on and twice were inside the 10 yard line the last 3 minutes and couldn't score). The defeatist attitude is ridiculous.
  12. Exactly what I want, because I am an eternal optimist, which is why when they don't perform I'm here often blaming the coaching. This is a team that has had a very good chance to win the Superbowl the last three years and they have not. Every playoff loss has been terrible (couldn't score vs. Jax, collapse vs. Houston, spanked by yes probably a better KC team, 13 seconds and an unmotivated, piss poor effort vs. Cincy). To me me there is one common thread and that was the coaching/decisions/play calling. Name me a game in the last 5 years where they really stepped up? I will say Dallas in 2019 & KC 2021 are the only ones
  13. 100% agree. Embarrassing. But it is a built in defence for some here who refuse to point fingers at the HC and Defence. Dorsey of course is fair game for all.😜
  14. And why can't they be? This is the argument I always have. We have a supposed defensive guru as HC and DC, yet whenever the Bills play a good team fans then are happy to give up on the D or make excuses for them. And of course I'm the bad guy here when I say anything saying McD should have them ready.
  15. Because Purdy is regressing to the norm and not getting every break? Yeah yeah no Deebo....
  16. You're right I'm a Bills fan, absolutely right I'm looking from the Bills side. I expect the Bills defense to step up as this right should be personal and they have not for 4-5 weeks. So yes the defensive genius (Guru) should be able to come up with a solid plan, once every 5 week?
  17. Again teams need to adapt. They f'ing let Mac Jones dissect them and lead a game winning TD drive the last two minutes. That is a fireable offense!!!!😡😜 Shhhhh..... Heresy to say such things.😜
  18. Who's making excuses??? You can't be serious. This site is full of McD truthers who seems to think he took over the worst team in the league coming off a 2-14 season and created a juggernaut. I've said he is a good coach. I however have seen too many warts that hold this team back, and yes he is responsible for a # of them. Enough about their top three defensive players, we get it. However I do expect more from them regardless. Again I only need to point to Cincy continuing to play well on offense last year stopping the Bills DL in the playoffs, without their 3 best OL's. Sometimes it is about coaching.
  19. I didn't say the Bills Defense isn't vulnerable. I would like to see them show up however as they have not been good and yes we get there are injuries, but all teams have them and yep sometimes they need to step up and the coaches held accountable (looking at you McDermott). Why are there always excuses?
  20. Yes this game really should tell us about McD. 10 days to prepare, a bad taste in his (and all Bills mouths) from last year, a Cincy D that is vulnerable, our defense, which McD coaches has not played well in 4 weeks (and while good vs. Miami, Miami too self destructed a # of times and did put up yards), and the fact that many here hold him in such high esteem, one day he needs to show he deserves that praise. Yep it is up to McD to have the team up and frankly roll Cincy.
  21. And that is the story of the Bills Defense. Way too often things like this happen (long drives, inopportune penalties, 3rd & 4th down conversions). Supposed to be different with McD calling the plays.
  22. How obtuse are you? Purdy is no Allen and yes he made a # of bad plays but still threw for 365 and 57 rushing, which means Cincy's defense is gettable. I'll take Allen Sunday.
  23. And again ignoring the elephant in the room, McD. It is the coach's responsibility to to get the team ready and McD has to do a better job with the defense. Yes Cincy has played better and had a great game vs. SF, but only 17 vs. Seattle and other games where they've struggled. We need to hold the defense accountable.
  24. How about just hanging up (or suggesting Mahomes be the back-up😜).
