  1. This horse has been beat. All teams have drops and sadly the Bills aren't even the worst offenders. He is being judged against all the other QBs who also have drops and throwaways. This isn't some report aimed directly at him.
  2. I like how you gloss over the Peterman TD to put them in a position to win. He lost the game, but the only reason it was winnable was because of him. Either way I don't think Allen wins that game.
  3. I think the next poll should be if his church habits are the first or second thing he mentions about the new coach. Someone posted about how religion seems to play too big a factor in his decisions and I'm starting to believe it more and more.
  4. Don't leave out college and high school connections.
  5. The defense was middle of the road in rushing yards and points per game. 30th in red zone scoring to top it off. I think they get way too much credit for being a league leader when it comes to yards given up because our special teams sucks and teams often have a shorter field to go. That might be a reason for the poor stats or it might just be covering up some very real issues for the defense. Either way, teams can still routinely run it right up the middle and run the same plays over and over without being stopped.
  6. Shady looked pretty good last year but the line was still bad. Especially in pass protection. The run game has really dropped off this year and he didn't seem to make any adjustments for it.
  7. Quite a few are contributing on other teams. Not a great drafter, but changing scheme's constantly probably didn't help. That fault lays at the feet of the Pegulas because they picked the coaches.
  8. They weren't exactly killing it with those 3. He was the run game coordinator too right?
  9. You almost certainly lose Poyer if you bring in Brown. His wife might stay though.
  10. He had to get rid of him because he inexplicably hired the Oline coach before the coordinator. Castillo isn't exactly known for his amazing lines.
  11. Don't get me wrong, I really like him. Watch his college tape and you can clearly see why he was rated as an OLB. He struggles with recognition. I don't want to see him fail at MLB when he could be an all pro OLB.
  12. At least 4 losses were defensive collapses. So not great. Those are just the blowouts. Dawkins loses a lot of 1v1 battles with terrible footwork. That isn't because the guard is bad. What about White falling off once teams finally started to go at him? Or the penalties and the disappearance of the pass rush? There are so many holes and problems on this team. McD still has trouble calling time outs. That doesn't bode well for a rebuild.
  13. So the fact that the Bills finished 30th in Red Zone Defense, or Dawkins falling off, or White's issues, and the continuance of penalties isn't a problem for you? How about special teams continuing to implode?
  14. Did you really see improvement? I saw a bad team finish the year on a very weak schedule. The game management, penalties, and missed plays we're just as bad. We clearly have different views. Improvement for me will be beating good teams consistently. Not just the Vikings in their weird blowout funk early this year.
  15. I'm not saying they should, but it's the Bills. There is about a 50/50 chance they fail. I don't put a lot of stock in the staff right now, so it really boils down to the draft.
  16. How do you not know your kicker is injured? Why would you keep shuffling in punters who can't handle the hold on a kick? The whole special teams sucks. You think Hauschka isn't irritated about this? Why is a defensive coach hiring offensive personnel before he even hires a coordinator? This is the crony type stuff he does that I question. Every move seems to be for a mediocre friend and without a thorough search.
  17. Yeah idk why they just don't make him the QB coach. The WR turned QB coach we have can be moved to another spot.
  18. If he does play well you risk alienating him with that strategy. Players don't like the tag. This team has far too many holes to create another one and waste draft picks on it.
  19. We only got back into that game with Peterman...who then threw it away.
  20. I really like Edmunds, but he looks out of place and doesn't seem to be improving. He is big and fast but his technique is subpar. His biggest advantages play well to the outside in space. I'm glad one game against a terrible offense changes that though. The whole team feasted.
  21. Malarkey went 9-7 then 5-11, that's why he was fired. He then had two 2 win seasons with the Jags and was actually rehired in between those. Chip Kelly started well in Philly and then flatlined. I'm not sure what the issue with Mora was.
  22. Riiiiigggght. So the abundance of talent in Black and Polynesian players somehow equates to the underrepresentation of coaches. Man I just can't believe Art Shell was the first viable black coaching candidate.
  23. That only makes sense if the entire population is involved in the NFL. The NFL is a majority balck league, so White people are overrepresented. Hispanics are actually overrepresented as well.
  24. Was Vance Joseph really a bad coach or hampered by poor Elway decisions? His team seemed to outplay their talent at times. Is Wilks really that bad or was he saddled with the worst Oline in history? People around here preach continuity and that it takes time, but so few think that that's wrong?
