Just got a stadium survey from the Bills
Trogdor replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The cost alone would probably price people out. Buffalo is unique and you take that away without the tailgating. Some of you apparently want this above all else, but I know that a lot of people enjoy it. This team has been miserable for 20years and no comfy seat would keep the stadium full for that long. -

The bills do. It's going to be much harder to fill a stadium without tailgating. For better or worse that is a huge draw. -
IMHO it's more about the staff you hire. You can be a defensive minded coach if you manage to find a good OC. The problem is that most coaches tend to stick with friends and retreads for their staff. I think the perception is that defensive minded coaches also stick to conservative coordinators. Also, once you find a good coordinator, there is a good chance they get a better job and your back to square one.

Demetress Bell actually had a pretty decent year the next year too. Also went to the Eagles. -

Sean McDermott’s Current Approval Rating

He specifically pointed to personnel decisions and you didn't. Those are examples to back up his point. -

Debunk to me would be offering examples or some proof. You basically just said nuh-uh for all of them. 2 and 3 from the op are something I really agree with. You honestly think those coaches were his only options? He didn't even search for an OC before he hired his Oline coach. He rushed to hire his friends and it hasn't panned out. -

Or more depending on the FA pool and draft options. If they can't find Olinemen in the draft then it's going to be a while. -
Defense wins championships....if you have a good QB and an above average or better offense.
-
I think they might try in FA, but the lack of good linemen that are available is going to hamper that. Going to end up like the Jets with more extra cap space.

People always laud Brady for taking less money and being a team player. I'm not sure how everyone just overlooks TB12 which is in the stadium, gets sent Patriots players, has the other owner fly on the team jet, and gets paid by the Patriots. On top of that the other owner is a fraud who has been sanctioned by the FTC. Every team should follow suit and just have their Star players make small businesses and sign them to contracts with the team.

It's not even under the table. He is an investor in TB12.

Buffalo's reputation amongst free agents

Man your hits and misses list is basically old regime vs new. That doesn't bode well for the future. -
That's one location. Do you really think that the Bills drop so many more passes on the right side of the field as to create that big of a discrepancy? I mean that seems like making excuses to me. He clearly struggles with short passes and intermediate throws to the right. He is almost 30 percentage points off the average in some of those areas. It's a neat tool for what he needs to work on. Watching the games would provide the same diagnosis though.

Can't teach accuracy? Cam Newton interesting case study...

Do you watch the games? He is out there talking trash and celebrating like the rest of them. Josh might be a good guy, but lets not act like he is the next Larry Fitz. -
Interesting and optimistic point about our final record

I like how you gloss over the Peterman TD to put them in a position to win. He lost the game, but the only reason it was winnable was because of him. Either way I don't think Allen wins that game. -

I think the next poll should be if his church habits are the first or second thing he mentions about the new coach. Someone posted about how religion seems to play too big a factor in his decisions and I'm starting to believe it more and more. -

The defense was middle of the road in rushing yards and points per game. 30th in red zone scoring to top it off. I think they get way too much credit for being a league leader when it comes to yards given up because our special teams sucks and teams often have a shorter field to go. That might be a reason for the poor stats or it might just be covering up some very real issues for the defense. Either way, teams can still routinely run it right up the middle and run the same plays over and over without being stopped. -

Shady looked pretty good last year but the line was still bad. Especially in pass protection. The run game has really dropped off this year and he didn't seem to make any adjustments for it.
