  1. At the same time, not much can be gained when your team gives up 17 sacks in under 2.5 seconds. That Arizona line is historically bad and I'm not sure anything but bad habits could be developed. I expect much of the same for them this year. See the Rodgers post for bias. Basically the same type of guy that teammates generally like and fans hate. A lot of people on here are still hurt that he doesn't like Trump. I'm not trying to make this a political post, but there was a lot of hate when the picture came out and it's remained. There is no other reason to hate an opposing QB so much and we haven't even played him yet.
  2. Jamie Gillan from the Browns might be available. I was stationed with his Dad, big strong kid who was a top tier rugby player when they were in Scotland.
  3. Name a QB who does more with less? When was the last time that they actually spent money on a RB or a target for him? Wilson doesn't is like a 2nd tier Rodgers if anything. They both scramble well, but Rodgers is probably the best pure passer in the NFL.
  4. The difference is that no teammates come out and talk badly about Aaron Rodgers. McNabb was not known as some great locker room guy. Every year that team trades or releases the talented offensive players around him, and yet, he comes ready to play and goes all out for them. Not unlike the Colts in how horribly managed they are. Even Tom Brady talked about how amazing he would be on the Patriots.
  5. I think the great thing with Edmunds is that if he doesn't get up to speed with MLB you can put him outside and he will be great. I still wish we could pair him with a Brandon Spikes type for those impact hits. He is still playing like he doesn't know how big he is lol.
  6. He looked great when Shaq was stacking up the whole O-Line lol. I guess I'm just looking for an upgrade over Star. Phillips could probably slide in there.
  7. I'm actually wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to throw Harry in instead of Star. Now that Oliver eats the doubles it seems to take the role away from Star.
  8. Getting rid of Colton Schmidt has been a big hit. The new guys couldn't even hold correctly for the kicks and it definitely cost some points. I don't think either guy right now is as consistent either. He wasn't great, but I would take him over anyone else we've had the last 2 years.
  9. He leaves his feet and targets the head, that's dirty for any player and should be worse than a fine. If he stayed on his feet and went shoulder to chest it would be just a hard hit. He ended a career and still gets to play and thats bs.
  10. This is the only part I don't understand. He hasn't done anything yet. Sweeny at least got on the field. Ford is probably going to be a great guard, but is that as big of a win if they wanted a RT? Beware the Peterman Preseason Hype.
  11. Oliver is a monster. He has already shown that ability to beat probowlers and double teams. I have no idea how playing nosetackle undersized didn't boost his draft stock.
  12. The Bills still need to prove they can stop the run. The Jets and Dolphins always seem to gash us, no matter how bad they are that year. We haven't even played against true #1s in preseason yet, so let's just take a step back. That guy is a beast and should be afforded some respect in both running and pass catching. I love Edmunds, but the guy has never been a big tackler. He uses his size more than power. It was a knock on him before the draft and I haven't seen much different up to now. I don't really care as long as he makes the tackle, but he isn't really using the hit stick.
  13. I'd rather listen to him than the propaganda arm of the Bills. It seems our choices are listening to negativity or how McD is the second coming. There really isn't much in the middle in talk radio.
  14. Probably didn't hurt that Star was the worst one in the front 7. They were stacked.
  15. I don't think Lawson has ever been bad, but we had unrealistic expectations here. He wasn't a pass rusher in college and he isn't in the NFL. I'd be happy if he can take out the tackle, guard, and center like he did against Carolina.
  16. Once defenses gameplan for him I expect Murray to get murdered just like Rosen. They had the worst Oline in the NFL and I don't think it's improved very much. They allowed something like 17 sacks under 2.5 seconds. I don't care how slippery they think he is, that team is still going to suck.
  17. There are lots of fantastic athletes that aren't great football players. At some point he has to back up the hype with some sort of production. Sweeney can be very productive and is an excellent blocker.
  18. I don't think you get rid of Duke either way. He has a history of making those catches at a professional level. Ray Ray hasn't looked good to me.
  19. Maybe Foster is the Nick Foles of WRs lol takes a while to get the rust off
  20. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't count towards the PS number. It's something special to do with that international program. I'd rather put McKenzie out there. He probably gets just as much separation, and even if he only caught the ball 50% of the time it would be an improvement. I think Duke pushes Ray Ray out, so maybe him.
  21. Duke looked good last night while Ray Ray looked off. I think the size and red zone threat will lock him into a spot.
  22. Does Zay make you feel better honestly? I dread whenever a pass heads his way. He has been awful.
  23. I thought for sure they would mention it during the replay, but nothing. He locked up the tackle, guard, and center on that one. Might as well start Harry and let Shaq do Star's job from now on lol.
  24. His first two were bad, but he was lights out on the rest. I think the anticipation is better and that gives Beasley a real good chance at YAC all season. I'm very critical of Allen, but he looked very good yesterday. Even if it is vanilla defense, the new WRs and Sweeney show some serious promise with separation and speed over a very good LB corps. If the Bills can only partially improve their red zone offense this will be a completely different team.
