  1. You should probably pick a side and stick to it. Either McD missed or Whaley missed. I personally think Mahomes, Darby, Edmunds > Allen, White, and Edmunds. Even better would be Glenn in there.
  2. There needs to be major upgrades to the roads and other mass transit to support a downtown stadium. It would be really cool to have a waterfront stadium like Baltimore, but I'm not sure they can do it without ruining the other updates the city has made. Canal side and the outer harbor are really coming along and a stadium there would probably just take away from that. If they can figure it out and not try to bankrupt the city that would be awesome.
  3. Doesn't matter who is on that team until they fix their line. Keeping the GM that created the mess was probably not the best option. I'm assuming they think the similarity to Mahomes would entice the new coach to start over.
  4. I don't think he is any better than the other names listed, he just hasn't been traded or signed by another team yet. Retention was the biggest failure of the last 10 years and the last purge doesn't help that image.
  5. The cost alone would probably price people out. Buffalo is unique and you take that away without the tailgating. Some of you apparently want this above all else, but I know that a lot of people enjoy it. This team has been miserable for 20years and no comfy seat would keep the stadium full for that long.
  6. The bills do. It's going to be much harder to fill a stadium without tailgating. For better or worse that is a huge draw.
  7. I think it's pretty well documented at this point that nobody listened to Whaley when it came to coaches. Russ Brandon was running the show.
  8. Rodgers wasn't really a project QB though, so I think the comparison is off. He was more of a guy that people worried about effort. His floor was much higher than Allen's.
  9. IMHO it's more about the staff you hire. You can be a defensive minded coach if you manage to find a good OC. The problem is that most coaches tend to stick with friends and retreads for their staff. I think the perception is that defensive minded coaches also stick to conservative coordinators. Also, once you find a good coordinator, there is a good chance they get a better job and your back to square one.
  10. Rodgers came out of college with better footwork and ability to dosect defenses. Allen would have to catch up to college level Rodgers before ever trying to match current level. Patrick Mahomes is a pretender too. Lot of bold predictions there.
  11. Demetress Bell actually had a pretty decent year the next year too. Also went to the Eagles.
  12. but does he go to church often?
  13. A lot of people on this thread with a new found love of PFF.
  14. He specifically pointed to personnel decisions and you didn't. Those are examples to back up his point.
  15. Debunk to me would be offering examples or some proof. You basically just said nuh-uh for all of them. 2 and 3 from the op are something I really agree with. You honestly think those coaches were his only options? He didn't even search for an OC before he hired his Oline coach. He rushed to hire his friends and it hasn't panned out.
  16. Or more depending on the FA pool and draft options. If they can't find Olinemen in the draft then it's going to be a while.
  17. Defense wins championships....if you have a good QB and an above average or better offense.
  18. I think they might try in FA, but the lack of good linemen that are available is going to hamper that. Going to end up like the Jets with more extra cap space.
  19. People always laud Brady for taking less money and being a team player. I'm not sure how everyone just overlooks TB12 which is in the stadium, gets sent Patriots players, has the other owner fly on the team jet, and gets paid by the Patriots. On top of that the other owner is a fraud who has been sanctioned by the FTC. Every team should follow suit and just have their Star players make small businesses and sign them to contracts with the team.
  20. It's not even under the table. He is an investor in TB12.
  21. Man your hits and misses list is basically old regime vs new. That doesn't bode well for the future.
  22. That's one location. Do you really think that the Bills drop so many more passes on the right side of the field as to create that big of a discrepancy? I mean that seems like making excuses to me. He clearly struggles with short passes and intermediate throws to the right. He is almost 30 percentage points off the average in some of those areas. It's a neat tool for what he needs to work on. Watching the games would provide the same diagnosis though.
  23. Do you watch the games? He is out there talking trash and celebrating like the rest of them. Josh might be a good guy, but lets not act like he is the next Larry Fitz.
  24. This horse has been beat. All teams have drops and sadly the Bills aren't even the worst offenders. He is being judged against all the other QBs who also have drops and throwaways. This isn't some report aimed directly at him.
