  1. TD should be in, the only knock on him is that his career was short. The guy could dominate a game. Just look at the first Denver SB win. When he was out of that game with his migraine all the momentum flipped to the Packers. Then when TD came back in ... 30 attempts, 157 yards (5.23/att) and 3 TDs. Plus you have to respect the 2000 yards club as credentials.
  2. The college game is simply not the same. Defenses are much faster and more complex. There is a reason why so many QBs who excel in college fail miserably in the pro game. A record setting 5 ints in a single half should be enough to tell you that he needs a lot of development time. That Chargers game was a Geno Smith-like display of talent
  3. Yes!!! We need a guy who's durability we can count on.
  4. I don't think that we're done with changes. He's just reached out and got the guy he wanted that was available.
  5. I can understand the concern after the Rex Rob move, but I don't see McD jeopardizing what he's building like that. If there's one thing we've seen is the guy has a process and we're seeing him implement it.
  6. Hopefully they have refs who know what a catch looks like
  7. You've got to be careful when selecting the next franchise QB. Let's get a solid vet and not overreach in the draft.
  8. Get a solid free agent QB, a good character guy. Trade down spots if there's value still out there at WR and O-Line. RBs should be a focus as well.
  9. They've loaded up on draft picks, changed to a winning culture, moved on from guys who didn't fully buy in AND made the playoffs. Personally I am glad we have Tre'Davious and Milano on the team. I'm trusting the process rather than lets give up everything for an unproven player. There will be some decent free agents this year and I know McBeane will improve our team where it needs to be improved between the draft and free agency. I'm confused coz your original post says "The time is overdue , the time is now . U guys know what I'm talking bout QB. There's 3 elite guys in this class Darnold, Mayfield & Rosen. We got to get one of these guys and we got to do whatever it takes ."
  10. I'm trusting the McB team that ended the drought in their first year over than the strategy outlined in your rambling post. I get it, you're tired of the Bills not going all in on a big name QB prospect. You even reference Luck as a past example but ignore how he's injured because he doesn't have a line to protect him. Winning rosters are balanced. That's why 3 teams in the championship games this year had non-elite QBs.
  11. I think it helps having a receiving corp like the Steelers have. I'd do a straight up swap. Heck I'd even trade Shady for Bell while we're at it.
  12. I hate how he chose left Buffalo but the guy will be a SB winning coach somewhere.
  13. Thinking the same exact thing. If not Tre'Day then Poyer
  14. That span in the season where we couldn't stop anyone was right after we traded #99. They still not rock solid but we're not the same team that got crushed by the run right after the trade. I don't want the to go too crazy with trick plays. There's a lot of heart on this team and our defense can be just nasty. I think we win this game if the team doesn't get distracted by all the hype and attention they are getting from the media.
  15. Bortle is known as a choker. He panics and lofts the ball as if he was a relative of Geno Smith. If we can keep it close he'll turn it over in bunches.
  16. It's crazy that he didn't. Record setting year on kicks over 50. At least we're finally getting some national press which will help players next year.
  17. I'd love to see Zay make it happen. I still think the kid has huge potential, just needs to get it together.
  18. Tyrod will do what is takes but not get the credit. 3rd down conversions and turnover ratios are going to be the difference. Poyer or Tre'day will pick Bortles twice. Tyrod will protect the ball.
  19. Not point even reading this guy. Haven't read Sully either in years. Miserable old pr!(k$
  20. Agreed on paper this team hasn't a chance without Shady, but I' done writing them off. When we lost the entire receiver crew I thought we were done. When we traded Dareus and couldn't stop the run I thought we were done. I'm all in, playing with the house money just enjoying the ride. We're building something special here and honestly I think they are ahead of schedule.
  21. Sadly they only throw flags against the Pats when the game is not in doubt. These flags are just to even out the bogus calls that stopped drives for the opponent team. If this were any other team I'd be right there with you, but against the Pats at Foxboro the result will be holding, taunting or unsportsmanlike calls :-(
  22. I would agree with that, but the rules are meant to be applied evenly. They don't say "if your team owner is Kraft and you have a #12 on your jersey then calls on the field must be changed when you tell the refs they got it wrong". The advantage from calls that Brady seems to get every game is the reason I can't pick him as the GOAT.
  23. What is wrong with people. We're in the hunt for a wild card spot despite trading away some high priced talent. Everyone thought that we were tanking this season. Why do we need to nitpick every little thing and start to believe. The great teams have belief and do not waste energy on any of this crazy trivial stuff. We didn't like Marrone coz his pressers were boring (Jags are doing pretty good with boring pressers). We don't like TT coz he's not the elusive "Franchise QB" but somehow seems to win and doesn't turn the ball over. Now we don't like Coach McD because he says "Trust the Process" repeatedly even though he's changed the culture and wins games like the Colts game by trusting the defense. Will we ever get to the place where we can celebrate success and build on it?
