  1. It needs to be pointed out that these are the same experts that had us tanking with less than 3 wins last year.
  2. I thought TT did a solid job last year getting us 9 wins with a sub par receiving crew. However he's gone and we have AJ. So it's time to get behind the new guy and trust the process. I wouldn't rule out Buffalo as an attractive destination for any diva or non diva WRs. The league is seeing what's being bui.lt here
  3. Yeah 25 TDs over the last 3 seasons is terrible.
  4. Honestly I think it's different this year. There was some truth to the rumors of a rift between Kraft/Belichick/Brady that emerged last year. The way Butler was treated at the end has to make players rethink the equation. I see the likelihood of them getting a ring next year lower than last season and the money is guarenteed
  5. I agree that there is a reason but that reason is not football related.
  6. Please see my post above about crazy names. Who want's Jay Cutler? They'd be completely different price points. One would be out to prove that he can be a starting QB in this league and the other is Jay Cutler. Come on....
  7. There has been a lot more crazy names posted here than Kaepernick. It's definitely worth considering. But let's see what Beane is working on. He has time since there doesn't seem to be competition for CK.
  8. Simple fact: Nothing said leading up to the draft is accurate. Nobody tips their hand.
  9. I'd be concerned that if we kicked his tires he'd wind up getting hurt. He's fragile. We need a reliable guy who will be there if McCoy's hammy acts up.
  10. that's in no particular order. I think Mr Carr is still has concussion symptoms from all the sacks he took in Houston.
  11. I agree that he'd be a nice add. That kind of money splash probably keep TT as our starter next year which means another 12 months of all the TT threads!! He plays with passion which can be harnessed by the right coaching staff.
  12. I'll agree that his rookie campaign was not steller, but it's way too soon to write him off. There's a ton of examples of guys not fully getting it till year 3. One of my all time favorite WRs is Eric Moulds and it took him 3 years to crack 300 yards. Zay has the talent to be a really good WR in this league. If your patient you'll see.
  13. I agree, plus he's going to have to take some extra time off so he can learn how to read.
  14. That would be shocking. They've got a lot of QBs on the roster already.
  15. It's really sad to think that guys like Mularkey and Jack Del Rio get 2 opportunities while people like Frank can't seem to crack through. I think it's going to take a spell as an interim HC or something like what happened to Bruce Arians in Indy. He's just too nice to make sure that he gets his share of the credit. To me the guy knows how to win, the comebacks at UMD and against the Oilers prove that.
  16. Dareus is a HOF level talent who is highly immature. If he had the right mindset he could consistently play at the high level he that sometimes flashes. It should be noted that our run defense took a dive when he left while Jacksonville's improved dramatically. The name calling is just beating a dead horse. We turned him loose and I hope he gets it together. There's no need to trash him like this, he's gone.
  17. I'm with Vince on this one. Everytime we step on the field we should be trying to win. Winning is a habit, winning begets winning. I fully believe that we can build on last years season.
  18. I think you are right on this one. It would probably be my choice if I was doing it. That is correct but I knew what Limeaid meant
  19. Hate to break it to you but you need an O Line. The QB is very important but without a solid O Line you are wasting your time, just ask the Colts
  20. I'm thinking he'll get one in Buffalo
  21. I was sure it was going to be Billy Joe Hobert
  22. It was McD's first year in cleaning up the Ryan cluster that was left behind. We made the playoffs despite cleaning house and picking up a bunch of draft picks. This constant nitpicking is far from helpful and is not even accurate. Don't forget Pederson went 7-9 last year which fits the middling category. My point i, McD got us to the playoffs. I don't like Marrone but he got the Jags (yes the freaking Jags!!) to the AFC championship game. These are 1st year coaches in their programs. You have to give them the opportunity to assemble the right staff, players and scheme to be successful.
