I agree with almost all your facts except that Trent was never great. I'm not sure that it really matters this year, a lot of the guys seem to have quit. I don't understand why but I think the Dareus trade seems to have weakened the team's spirit. Not sure that benching Tyrod is going to solve it.

I was just curious as a lot of folks wanted this to happen. Wanted to see what people we expecting. I guess a good follow up question would be what does Peterman have to do for the remainder of the season for us not draft a 1st round QB in the draft next year.

Dublin Ireland. Became a Bills fan the year Thurman was drafted. Started watching American football in 85 season, but there was something about Thurman that made me root for the Bills.

Jim Brown would be worth a first round pick. The Bills only get better by focusing on what they need to do to improve, not by watching what the Patriots are doing. To steal the words of Conor McGregor "Winners focus on winning, losers focus on winners".

Personally I'm happy about Aaron Williams. I really don't want to see him get hurt any worse than he already has been. Quality guy that needs to look forward. I'm sad to see Woods heading off to the Rams. I really think he was underrated. Gilmore is good but not that good. Personally I think he'll be a cap casualty in 1 to 2 years (like Byrd). The Bills were right not to tie up those kinds of resources in a db. If we can get our pass rush back to (or close to) where is was pre-Rex we will be just fine.

Marrone hurt himself the way he left the Bills. I think that was a big reason why teams began to look at him as a quitter. The TT case at hand is completely different.

I would start to have concerns about him if he did. TT will be snatched up quickly in FA if we are silly enough to let that happen. Looking at the decision making process of the Bills organization makes Buffalo a hard sell for players. The Lorax says that his decision on whether to stay in Buffalo or not will be influenced on whether TT comes back.

For me the NFL has certainly lost some of it's appeal. It really comes down to the uneven application of the rules, and I'm not talking just about the Bills getting gipped on calls. It does seem to me that certain teams seem to get the benefit of these calls much more than others. Like if we hit the Steelers or Patriots kicker the way Sherman hit Carpenter. Teams like the Bengals and Panthers routinely miss out on these types of calls. For me it really damages the competitiveness of the league and makes the whole thing a lot less interesting.

It's a reload. This team has talent enough to be in the playoffs. The coaching staff wasn't able to get them to play to their potential.

I not going to get sucked again in this time. Going to take the patient approach and give them time to implement their plan and fine tune it.
