  1. No doubt. I blew that off and watched it live on BB.com
  2. thanks Virgil, always enjoy your post-game thoughts. Not that it would have made a difference but did anyone else notice Hughes being held on almost every play?
  3. 1. My dad took a job with Graphic Controls in 1975 and moved the family to WNY. 2. I can't help it, they're in my blood 3. Even though we lived a few miles from Rich Stadium, being able to hear the announcer from our backyard in OP if the wind was blowing in the right direction. As for a specific game, the 1990 AFC Championship game.
  4. the multiple shots of him smiling/smirking while looking to the GB sideline after the Allen "fumble" really ticked me off. He is in the same category as Brady with me from this point forward...
  5. I agree. The game aside, watching the Raiders fans stream out of Rich at halftime was worth the price of admission.
  6. I said the same things about them a couple years ago when the Chiefs beat them badly in the 2nd or 3rd game of the season.
  7. There was a similar play in the Lions/Pats*** game last night and it was ruled an incomplete pass.
  8. Absolutely. The team definitely has rallied around him. Loved the fire he showed.
  9. Hughes was a beast today.
  10. Do we know who was calling the defensive plays today?
  11. Thanks Shaw, I always look forward to your reviews.
  12. It's all about personnel... Marrone walked into an almost-loaded team on the rise. Think of the '87 or '88 Bills. For better or worse, McD decided to purge the roster and start from scratch. Time will tell.
  13. Agree with all said above. That could have been very bad indeed. Hope he is OK.
  14. ^ this. They thought it would reduce the number of interceptions he threw.
  15. Agreed. I left Buffalo 30+ years ago but have not felt as at home anywhere else in the years since. I have been trying to convince my Pats*** bride to move back since the day we were married to no avail. I haven't given up ;-)
  16. AKA the K-Gun offense. If only they had kept handing off to Thurman in XXV...
  17. Yes! I still remember that Sports Illustrated cover. An interesting Buffalo connection: my father worked at Graphic Controls back in the 70's and 80's. Jose Sulaiman, long-time president of the WBC, was an executive in GC's international division. We would always see him in the ring on TV after title fights and we'd laugh and say "there's Jose!".
