I agree with what others have said, the turning point was before the game, when the referees made the decision to call PI/defensive holding against a Chiefs' secondary that had been getting away with it all season.

He seems to be a great teammate as well. Did anyone else notice he made a beeline for Diggs toward the end of the KC game and kept him from doing something he would regret?

I was also struck by how much more physical the game seemed than today's NFL - many of the hits on receivers would be flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct or unnecessary roughness (can't remember the penalty) today.

Same here. Start the morning with my Bills coffee mug (with the logo completely washed off) followed by cracking the first beer around an hour before the game and drinking it out of my Menemsha Blues pint glass.
