  1. I said enough with the fun and games in Tampa, get up here NOW!
  2. Like the new look and loads much faster. Thanks SDS!
  3. Whirling dervish / Tasmanian devil. He was all over the field looking to kick some a**.
  4. Not the only activity in which he plays catcher.
  5. Yes. The Pats*** defense looked like they had no fight left in them in the 4th quarter. I hope the Bills manhandle them and run it down their throats.
  6. There was a good discussion on one of the ESPN NFL Sunday Countown this morning (with Rex, Randy Moss, Bruschi and Matt Hasselbeck) regarding Mahomes and Allen.
  7. Thanks for posting, Motorin'. I was thinking earlier this week that this team reminds me of those '88 Bills that lost to the Bengals in the Championship game. Here's to a better outcome this year!
  8. I caught that too. Good thing the PC police aren't monitoring those clips.
  9. Great analysis, thanks for taking the time to put this together! If one sentence grabbed my attention it was this: "The Broncos look very susceptible to misdirection and mobile QBs." It will be interesting to see how Dabol and Allen attack the Broncos defense.
  10. Yup. Making a snowman is an entirely different story, which the media here in CT don't seem to understand. We got 12+ inches of dry powder here today and the news folk are telling the kids to go outside and make a snowman. Would make a great marketing video for a snowblower though.
  11. Sam Cowart, though I believe he played in 2 playoff games early in his career.
  12. Thanks for the great wrap-up, as always. I share the same sentiment as others in that my post-game routine is now complete. I even contemplated starting a "Where's Virgil" thread!
  13. LOL, whatever works! If he puts everything together he will be one dangerous TE. Perhaps reading Emerson will help?
  14. he's the Nuke Laloosh of football.
  15. I'm with you brother. My dislike goes back to when I was a kid the 70's. One of my favorite vivid memories of those days was Jim Haslett intentionally stepping on Terry Bradshaw's head after he was tackled out of bounds.
  16. I saw this in one of the San Francisco area papers today. Another amazing Josh statistic, if true. I didn't click the NFL Research link as Twitter is blocked on my work laptop: "It was Allen’s third game this season with at least 375 yards, three touchdown passes and at least a 130 passer rating. Drew Brees in 2013 is the only other quarterback in history to have three such games in a season, according to NFL Research."
  17. Hail Mary defense aside, the defense is rounding into form. Despite the offense doing their best to keep it close, the defense did not let the Chargers take advantage of the turnovers in the 2nd half.
  18. He also uncorked his d-bag move where he kicks defenders that hit or sack him and land on top of him. I don't remember who the Ram was or the quarter but it was in Brady's own end zone.
  19. I had completely forgotten about the Stallions. My indoor soccer team got to play a game in the Aud prior to a Stallions game. There was nobody there when we started and the place was half-full by the time we finished. And those Braves games... Shuuuuuuuumate!
  20. That's awesome, thanks for posting Beast! I haven't lived in WNY since 1988 and that brought back some great memories.
  21. Thanks for sharing this OP. When I was a kid back in the 70s I loved reading books on the NFL - those you could buy at your school's book fair when you had to order using the paper form you had to turn back in to your teacher. Floyd Little was one of the many players documented in those books who is, or will soon be, no longer with us.
  22. Lots of great names listed so far. I have to go with Bobby Chandler on offense and Tony Greene on D (with #57 Lucius Sanford a close second).
  23. Just cleaned the gutters for the 3rd time this fall (damn oak trees). Now heading out to put up the Christmas lights.
  24. You got me beat
