  1. Yes, the total rookie pool is correct, but the salaries that determine the Bill's cap during the offseason include only the top 51. Only the top 2 draft picks will impact their cap by the time they sign them, and even then you drop 2 other salaries off the 51, so the net impact will probably be a little over $2 million.
  2. The highlighted is not true. The cap is based on the top 51 salaries until the season starts, so the R1 pick and maybe R2 will count ($2.5 mil?).
  3. I'm with you. I know a lot of people are taking out their frustrations and want to blame someone, and that's understandable. However, take heart, because Josh Allen will eventually lead the Bills to a Super Bowl win.
  4. So happy that DikHead Vrabel lost on his decision to go for 2. Recall, he tried a "home run throwback" against the Bills in their game this year. Tells me all I need to know about him--DikHead.
  5. Buffalo's solution: "Fuhck it, we'll just throw deeper." Great line!
  6. This is shaping up as the kind of game where a STs play could determine the outcome.
  7. I wonder if he can cover Hill....?
  8. Yeah, I don't think I ever noticed this technique before and was wondering if it was new for him? I never thought he did a good job of faking it before, but now the way he hides it can be very deceptive. Glad you brought this up.
  9. Ha! Faster than lil’ dirty! That should make for some interesting ***** talk @ practices this week.
  10. I've been thinking about this for awhile, and my initial thought was that we are currently in what I was going to call the "Hyde-Poyer" window, which would be this year, next, and maybe 2024. However, I think @MAJBobby has it right--it's that simple, Allen's career. He still hasn't hit his ceiling, though maybe we're seeing him get closer to it in this run? Beane is doing a good job of bringing in young talent through the draft. The Bills will also be able to attract veterans who want a shot at a ring, which is why I'm in Major's camp now, as opposed to thinking they had to do a mini rebuild after H-P are gone.
  11. Exactly the point, and if Phillips doesn't recognize that in the next few years, then he's delusional.
  12. While there are players who would like to come to Buffalo now (Sanders e.g.), a win against KC and a trip to the Super Bowl will ratchet that up. It will be a lot easier to fill those 5-6 spots that are typically filled by relatively cheap vets, and it probably means they will sign some of the better ones who want the opportunity to win a ring.
  13. I did not say there isn't a gap; in fact, I agree with your first sentence. My point is the QB position is what currently makes for a significant gap between the teams. Take away that, and the Pats aren't too far off, but there is still a gap. They were the #2 scoring D after all.
  14. As I stated in another thread, he's one of my favorite players because "he's so damn feisty!" Always chirping at the opposition and always plays to the whistle.
  15. If you take away the QB position, I wouldn't argue against the gap not being too great. But that's the issue, the QB makes the gap significant.
  16. Oh, I'm sure he does yell at players, but I'm also sure he uses "we" and "let's"; NOT "you" and "you guys".
  17. I hope I'm lucky enough to see my two favorite teams match up in a few weeks: Bills vs Packers!
  18. There are different ways to lead. Allen leads by example—he constantly works to get better and will do whatever it takes to win. That’s what his teammates see, and you hear them say it all the time, they all want to go into battle with him. I dont think he will ever call out a teammate in public—he’s not that kind of guy, and I’m sure that’s appreciated too. Last, I don’t think he needs to get in anyone’s face with the culture they created here. They hold each other accountable.
  19. Yeah, won't matter much, especially since our coordinators were busy with interviews yesterday.
  20. Yeah, @The Wiz may want to change his moniker so as not to be confused as the author of what may be the worst take of all time.
  21. I think they'd only keep Feliciano if he restructured to a lower cap hit because he's paid too much to be a backup. The Bills will need to release a few players to create more space in order to re-sign a guy like Harry and (I hope) lil' dirty. Possible cap casualties are Feliciano, Star, Beasley, and Klein.
  22. Brown has become one of my favorite players because he's so damn feisty! Great pick by Beane and great physical addition to the line. I am surprised a bit by Bates, as he is more physical than I thought.
  23. It's a good possibility. It's a long season, and it was even longer this year with an additional game. However, things also changed once the Bills put a greater emphasis on offensive balance and revved up their Motor.
  24. This is an appropriate atonement for those who doubted Allen:
