  1. Hasselbeck also said that his team was going to score in OT vs the Pack in the playoffs. I’m not convinced that many inaccurate college QB’s have gone on to successful pro careers. I’ve always gotten the impression that Hasselbeck isn’t the brightest crayon in the box, and his analysis sucks. If Tony Romo had this to say I’d be more willing to listen.
  2. True, but welders and nurses are blue collar workers. Ironic that you use them as an example while stating that blue calling workers rarely exist, and you call them ignorant. I’m not trying to discount your opinion or be abrasive. I just felt the need to point out that you talking about a class below what’s considering blue collar. The idea there are few blue collar workers remaining is a joke. We will need truckers, nurses, welders, construction workers, plumbers, etc well into the future. It seems trendy to say that blue collar work is dead (when it really isn’t), and that everyone will need to become a computer guy. Politicians have already paid the price for discounting and diminishing the power of blue collar Americans. Believe what you want. Most Hollywood actresses look like rural Wal Mart shoppers without their makeup and plastic surgery imo.
  3. Definitely agree with that. Stubhub and the ticket brokers also hold a great deal of influence at this point. Concerts practically sell out on Ticketmaster before ever going on sale these days. The resale business is influential, and huge in its own right. No one wants to stop it at this point.
  4. It sounds fun, but extremely cheesy. Why don’t they just play battleship to determine who gets possession of the ball?
  5. Ha, I was thinking somewhere along the lines of saying that these guys aren’t KGB agents. Lets not give them too much credit for crafty intelligence.
  6. Great post. Facts and legitimate science are being ignored to promote an agenda. The elites have made their minds up regarding the game of football. They will find whatever they can to back their preconceived notions. Grown men have the choice to abstain from playing football. Apparently we live in a culture where we need to protect grown men from their own choices. If we must eliminate the kickoff, should boxing and MMA be completely outlawed? They don’t care about player safety imo. They simply want the mainstream media to write articles praising the safety improvements made in football. This would guarantee more suburban moms allowing their sons to play football. As a result the pipeline of potential NFL players continues. A lack of young talent due to bad press is the main concern of the NFL.
  7. We should just all stay home in bubble wrap if this is what society has come to. You can only alter a game so much before it no longer exists.
  8. Buffalo has no need for Cali’s women, they would just need their plastic surgeons.
  9. How elitist ? You must be in the SoTier as research for your sociology dissertation.
  10. They could copy the Jacksonville Super Bowl model by creating hotel rooms in boats on the Niagara River.
  11. The Stones came to Buffalo and attracted a huge crowd. The problem isn’t Buffalo, the problem is a crap music industry. Building a stadium anywhere with the idea of getting entertainment acts is an invalid reason to build these days. A new stadium will built with the sole intention of corporate cash and seat licenses. It’s all about more cash in the league’s pocket. They couldn’t care less about what it provides to the community.
  12. Congrats for sending this one off the main board, and making me think of a topic I’d rather not. It never stops.
  13. Came here first because he loves the charm of 26CB.
  14. This is unequivocally untrue. He could have been in Sudan today for all you know.
  15. Kamara was picked in the third round. That’s about the right spot for us to considering a guy at that position. First or second round would be absurd imo. We have so many needs, and first round RB’s aren’t crucial to winning titles. Many of the so called experts will disagree, but recent history proves this to be true imo.
  16. He could be an upgrade. I just find it unlikely that McCarron will be the long term answer. There isn’t much about him that projects to better than a second string QB imo. If he does become the franchise QB then it’s obvious the regime will be safe. That scenario seems more unlikely than finding the future of the franchise in the draft. That’s why I’m of the opinion that the regime will be done if they don’t hit on a QB in the draft. My argument is simply framed by my personal opinion of McCarron.
  17. Absolutely. The problem is that without a QB there will be quite a bit of losing. This results in the aforementioned demise of the regime. This team achieved a miracle 9-7 campaign with Tyrod at QB. McCarron may very well be a downgrade. That means if we don’t get a QB, losing football will return to Buffalo.
  18. Nah, they just flock together once they get there.
  19. Why don’t all the people who always complain about too many reapeat threads just become moderators and merge them? This seems so reasonable, and I’m not being sarcastic. It’s a legitimate question. It’s always the same people complaining, wouldn’t their energy be better used helping to clean up this mess? If he gave us 2009 TO like production he’d likely be the top receiver on this team by far.
  20. Expecting that kick to be made wouldn’t be asking much these days. However, the kicking game of 2018 is superior to that of the early 90’s. Making a 47 yard field goal was an impressive feat back then. That is no longer the case.
  21. The part you wrote after the “but” was my point. It seems like only a matter of time before Richie has a meltdown. He’s a good player, but he’s a nutcase. Talent becomes irrelevant when you start acting like a complete fool.
  22. He’s endeared himself to most Bills fans because he’s done everything right. He’s been a solid player who has taken a bit of a leadership role. With that said, he still carries the stench of being Rex’s trash imo.
  23. I don’t consider Chicago and Cleveland to be “good” company. Additionally, Big Ben shouldn’t be allowed on the same field with any women.
