  1. Nope, but it doesn’t mean that she won’t do a good job. Powerful positions around the world are filled by people who aren’t technically qualified for them.
  2. Well said, too much hyperbole is used when this stuff happens. Work place relationship will happen, the problem occurs when a guy crosses the line. Knowing not to cross the line simply requires basic social skills. These skills are often blocked by arrogance. A high ranking married male employee (Brandon) can’t expect not to encounter repercussions for his type behavior. It’s one thing for two single low level employees to date, it’s another for a married CEO to sleaze around the facility.
  3. The problem with guys like Brandon is that it’s one thing to have your example (which obviously is bad news), but it’s another for a married dude to be sleeping around with those who report to him. It’s not like he’s searching for the love of his life, it’s obviously not going to turn out good. These guys are idiots.
  4. Regardless of what one thinks about this sexual harassment business, that last word is what describes Brandon best.
  5. I agree that McDermott will have a strong commitment to defense. It will be a great asset to Allen. My only concern is the offense around Allen. McD and Daboll are likely run first type coaches, but a weak offensive line with a 30 year old back does set off some alarms imo. I’m not convinced that this team is built to be a great running team.
  6. If only we had the talent of that Steelers team. My biggest concern is that the current regime could be dismissed before Allen achieves his potential. Allen needs to get off to a hot start in the first few years of his career. I just hope Allen’s growth doesn’t correlate into losses. I don’t want to see another regime change.
  7. Fair enough, but lets hope that he gets to sit a year. He certainly won’t be surrounded by playmakers or a line here either.
  8. People in modern society really struggle with interpreting the meaning of opinions. Everyone is entitled to their opinion regarding Josh Allen at this point. There is no right or wrong answer. Beane, Vic Carucci, and everyone on this board actually have no idea how Allen’s career will turn out. Shutting down others opinions at this point is ignorant. No one is right or wrong. Sadly, people like Carucci feel the need to assert their beliefs as being the truth of those who are intellectually superior.
  9. This very difficult for me to do, because there is a major discrepancy between offensive and defensive talent imo. I like a lot of our young defensive talent, and would be willing to give them a 7. Our offense is worthy of about a 3.
  10. I agree, I just worry that the “Goff treatment” isn’t going to happen here. Offense doesn’t appear to be highly valued by the current regime up to this point. Allen is already viewed as a project quarterback by most. With the team currently constructed as is, Allen faces a major uphill battle to become a successful QB.
  11. I’m not going come here to say Allen is a bust, and that our future is doomed. I will say that I just don’t like hearing the word “project” and quarterback together. This is the only reason why I have reservations, and I’m not ready to rejoice.
  12. Absolutely, whoever starts at QB for us is going to be thrown into a brutal situation. Our offense really isn’t set up to allow anyone the opportunity to succeed at this point.
  13. That makes sense. If Tyrod has them in the playoff chase, he isn’t going to be benched for Mayfield. If Tyrod plays well but they still aren’t in the playoff hunt, they will definitely want to see what Mayfield can do.
  14. If Tyrod has “success”, why is Mayfield going to take the reigns this season? Not a criticism, I’m just trying to pick your brain on this logic.
  15. Right now, Tom Brady would fail in this offense because the talent is awful.
  16. I’m not saying that Rosen will be Brady, but I will say that many of the greats are self absorbed d-bags. Brady cries about everyone picked before him to this day. I didn’t mind Rosen’s belligerent swagger a bit. I like Rosen talking about making people pay for not drafting him. It’s not any worse than our QB’s first statements apologizing for stupid tweets he made as kid.
  17. Exactly. The McBeane regime wouldn’t touch a guy like this. They must maintain their team of choir boys who fight for Jesus.
  18. Gettlemen needs Barkley to become Walter Payton and Barry Sanders combined for this pick with an aging Manning to ever be justified.
  19. Yeah, but if Mayock said that these days, he’d be on vacation with Weinstein and Lauer very soon. This is where I’m at. There is a difference between bad and embarrassing. If Mayock understands proper use of the word embarrassing (which is debatable) then I couldn’t care less about it, or even want to know.
  20. Meh, that wouldn’t be embarrassing. They considered that good television for a while with Fear Factor.
  21. Mayock didn’t say something bad, or something terrible. He used the term “something embarrassing”. This makes me ask the question; is anything considered embarrassing these days? If it’s just “embarrassing” how bad can it be?
