  1. Is anyone else afraid to click on that? 😊
  2. When my son was in high school he asked my wife why we don’t drive fancy cars like the other parents. We had the talk about appreciating assets and depreciating assets. He’s in investment banking now, and drives a Toyota 4Runner. It was so bad at his high school, parents would have BMWs with giant bows on them in the car line when their kids turned 16. What a way to set them up for failure. Life isn’t always going to be that easy.
  3. It was a thing of beauty when they tried to change defensive personnel last week when we kept the same offense grouping out there. They tried to sub out and Josh just ran a play while they had extra guys on the field and offside. That was one of my favorite plays of the game! 😂
  4. I don’t think of it as better or worse, I think it’s more like a different flavor to me.
  5. Ahh, the gift that keeps on giving! 😂
  6. He actually had good coverage on that, but he just didn’t seem big enough at 5’9”(ish) to make that play. He did get his arms in there, but sometimes the other guy just makes the play. There was a Bishop sighting on that play as well, for our local Bishop fan club who wanted to see him get some snaps. Patience is in order with both, imo.
  7. I’m afraid I have a conflict. A very serious conflict, in fact.
  8. Can they use yours?
  9. I’m not arguing, but I have to say that Buffalo looks kinda funny on that list.
  10. I drive a 2014 Toyota Avalon. The wife and I both had over 100k miles on our cars and we didn’t want to have to replace both at once, so the wife tried to get me to get new car. I don’t WANT a new car! My car is used to get me around town and take my two Golden Retrievers to the park every day that weather allows. There is enough fur in my car to make several puppies. When I roll the window down it’s like being in a rolling snow globe. To vacuum the car is like shoveling in a blizzard, pointless. The wife got a new car we can drive people around in, and I kept my old faithful Toyota so I don’t have to worry about getting a ding here or there.
  11. Go Dolphins, draft a little later.
  12. ….it does make you wonder a bit.
  13. I’ll tune in to see Taylor Swift do a bowling ball shot, but only if she drops the ball on her foot when she’s done. THAT would be worth it!
  14. Yep, they absolutely do. Without them the world as we know it collapses. You can’t go to the mall and buy a pair of socks or hit the ATM without what they do, not to mention the big picture of things like global custodial services. If bitcoin went away, the only people affected are some gamblers and some Russian oligarchs. It’s dust in the wind. Call me crazy, but I’m of the Warren Buffet School of Investing: If I can’t understand it, I’m not investing in it. It should have some purpose or value. My Chase card gives me the ability to purchase things, Goldman has done some real tax saving stuff for us, another bank provides my wife with a nice income allowing me to travel to Bills games as desired, etc. Some other banks will be sending me checks every month when I decide to start collecting. Bitcoin is more like the financial version of Schrödinger’s cat. .
  15. …..but at least they do something real. 😊 I’ll be on my way now.
  16. But how good COULD it be with two big WR’s who make you cover the boundary? They were both out with (strangely) wrist injuries today. Like DB’s in recent years, cluster injuries can kill you. You can have depth everywhere, but you can’t go 3-4 deep at every position.
  17. It’s how things tumble when you get to the playoffs, imo.
  18. Who should be fired first?
  19. They just want people to bet, and they make money. It’s not personal, as they say in The Godfather.
  20. Colts HC needs to switch to decaf.
  21. Starts with a 3 and out to set the tone! Or, another pick six would work.
  22. I almost stopped reading at the first sentence, because that is simply not true. I never said anything about Hamlin being outmatched in the playoffs. That may have been you or somebody else. Regardless, I’m not at practice every day, and I bet you aren’t either. We have professional coaches there to teach, observe and evaluate. McD may have flaws, but one of his strengths is developing DB’s. I’ll trust him over us in our comfy recliners.
  23. So? He made the wrong reads and gave up easy points. He wasn’t ready then, and I don’t want to ruin him by putting him in a position to fail. That hurts him, the team, and it makes my neighbors talk about the screaming coming from my house.
  24. I think it’s best not to lose games because you wanted to see him get playing time before he’s ready. We saw the Houston game and how quickly one bad read can change the game, especially at safety. I trust our coaches to know how far along he is and when he’s ready.
  25. Somehow, this will be a reason to talk even MORE about the Cowboys, and that is truly a shame.
