Pickleball makes such an ugly sound it pollutes the park that I go to. I’m glad you enjoy it and all that, but what an obnoxious noise that is to a tennis player.

Maybe you were the guy I didn’t like! 😊 In gym class at Casey Middle they had us swim (naked, but that’s another story) the length of the pool underwater. Some of the kids couldn’t hold their breath long enough, while some made it the whole length of the pool. I got to the other end, then turned around and went all the way back, still holding by breath. If only I could have made that work for me in some way….. 🤷‍♂️

Our son works for Truist and will be moving from Buckhead to The Battery when the building is finished. Awesome tradeoff in terms of commute and immediate access to restaurants and everything. He’ll have his own parking spot!

Why is this so hard? Like so much here, it doesn’t have to be one or the other. Josh is really, really, really good, but he’s certainly not perfect. I guess it’s less fun to argue over things that are not so extreme. That seems to be life these days, sadly. .

Bocce’s is my favorite, but a lot of that goes back to it being a treat when we had special parties at night around the pool as kids. This is a blend of objective test tasting and what you grew up with and learned to love. Probably like BBQ in some places. Bocce’s has been known to be my breakfast in the hotel. When I go back I’ll usually hit the Bocce’s across from Williamsville North HS. I promise, you don’t want to arrive right after school lets out. I gave up and learned my lesson! .

I did a double take to be sure this wasn’t an old thread from a few years ago. I see he’s made $180 MIL so far playing football. Yeah, he’s got this figured out. .

First, I don’t even pretend to have “a board” or anything. I’m just learning about these guys. He’s far more nimble than I thought he would be. I had seen the highlight of him chasing a guy down, but that’s a rare event. I wonder how much it would help if he started each play when everyone else did. He seemed to be the last guy moving a lot, but I’m more intrigued after watching that.

During college our now DIL flew to Australia for some program. The man sitting next to her on that very long flight was very quiet, for a very long time. She doesn’t like to talk about it so I avoid the tropic, but what do they do if somebody dies on a flight like that? I don’t think the path to Australia leaves you as many quick options as you’d like. Do you put him in a bathroom??? You can’t just leave him there!!! Imagine the commotion! “Who wants to help carry the dead guy to the bathroom?”
