  1. All well said...and IMO this should be common sense for thought processes. How can Guy the best at his position not be in. And, how can you even think about a rookie ever at this point. MAYBE Peyton or Luck as rookies, but, that is still very silly to think that!
  2. K-9, on 28 July 2014 - 09:26 AM, said: Near as I can tell it's because: Bryce Brown is better Marrone doesn't like him He doesn't "fit" the offense He hasn't lived up to his draft selection He's not durable He has mental lapses on the field I'm sure there's a ton more but that's all I got off the top of my head. GO BILLS!!! I think mainly because he is in his contract year and a lot of people figure he won't be back anyway, so get something for him now while they can. Plus some think he flat out sucks Personally I don't think his single fourty yard run surrounded by his 10-15 little or no gain runs are of a lot of value. And so far anyway, that's all the Bills seem to be able to get out of Spiller. If they think they can get more than that out of Spiller this season then keep him and hopefully they can resign him. Otherwise if someone offers a 2nd for him, take it and run. ******************************************************************************************** I agree with both of these writings.
  3. I don't think they will cut Moekei. If he can't play for a while they will put him on the PUP list. If they didn't believe in Moekei a lot I THINK they would have addressed the TE position in the draft or free agency. We don't need a blocking TE, we don't need Smith. It is a dying position.
  4. You can't compare Charles to CJ. IF you are you have other things you need to work out first.
  5. Agreed! Sammy is arguably the best playmaker in the draft! That is worth 3 first rounders!
  6. I think Gronk and Wilson have the same thing in common. They were both 1st round talents with questions mark. Gronk's injuries and Wilson's height. The further a first round talent falls the easier it is to overlook their weaknesses or take more risk on the possibility of failure. Anyone can say I told you so way after the fact. But, at the time I thought Wilson was worth the risk of a 3rd rounder ESPECIALLY considering we didn't have a backup QB on the team It was the perfect place to take a shot. Hindsight is 20/20. All that said, I think EJ will pan out and the Bills did make the best QB pick they could have since Wilson. Dalton was a question mark the size of Wilson, but, was taken in the 2nd round. Kap was less of a question mark than Dalton. I would have been fine with that pick over Aaron Williams. I also remember the Aaron Williams draft slot seemed to be highly conveying to trade into for other teams. Last thought, in order to take the QB you want based on where they SHOULD go on draft boards you typically need to take them a full round earlier. That is why EJ was drafted where he should have been and the same with many QB's and Wilson was a steal because he had no business going in the 4th round (opposed to be rated in the 4th and taken in the 3rd). JMHO
  7. Also a big fan of Whaley finding players in ALL areas possible to acquire them!! He leaves no stone unturned!!
  8. I agree Stevie could do well in San Fran, but, IF he does, he would not have done it with the Bills. I will not miss Stevie. And, Woods is not small!
  9. Good to hear. I didn't realize we had another punter on the roster either.
  10. I like some of the things you say. But, the term LOCK is used a little too frequently. By the sound of your statements in whole why would the Bills even have training camp. Lock should be a 100%. And, using the example you don't know Lee Smith's name how can he be a lock. I don't think he will make the team as a blocking TE. Strongly agree. I think Urbik will backup at C and G. Hairston could backup at T and G or make the team as a starting G. I like everything you say here.
  11. Ramses Barden and the other tall WRs are also all ahead of TJ on the depth chart. He can NOT catch the ball. That is the problem!! If he has not learned to catch the ball at this point in his life and career I strongly don't think he will learn to catch it now. So funny and so true! You can't teach how to catch at this point either!
  12. That is a ridiculous statement!!! He can't catch. He can't attempt to catch a ball without jumping, even when it is right in his numbers! This post of yours shows you lack little knowledge on the sport or have not watched him play!!! He is currently approximately the 8th WR on the roster and can't play special teams (besides returning kicks). I am usually very positive about the Bills and the posters on this board....but, this is just a statement and thread of madness. You receive zero points and I am stupider for hearing you!! He is NOT a NLF WR!! I hope you are joking!
  13. I watched some of the first season or two. I did not want the Bills on the show at all with the distractions it brings. But, would have watched it if we were on Hard Knocks. So, overall pleased we are not on it and I will not be watching it. Go Bills!
  14. Well, that statement is just not true. You may not go to games, that part may be true. That is sooo funny because of the truth of the situation!
  15. I dislike hindsight as well. But, I will play along. He would have never seen the field. Maybe the practice squad and then plucked off it to another team. But, thinking back, the Bills didn't have Brady on their draft board. Almost every team didn't have Brady on their draft board. New England was the ONLY team that even spoke to Michigan's head coach prior to the draft.
