  1. When I think of an offensive team that wants a defensive coach to balance it can make sense. However, think of this, Schwartz was defensive with the Titans. The offensive Lions picked him up and he didn't improve their D to the top half of the League. I don't think that will help support Schwartz as a HC. More of a DC. There are many offensive and defensive coaches that can HEAD coach and institute their specialty to the team. Some can't. Who knows with Schwarz till he gets his 2nd chance. So, to answer the question, I think JS will be our DC next year.
  2. The defense the Bears had on those teams was strong! I think ours may be better or as good. I think Orton is a better QB now then he was then. I KNOW our offense is better than those Bears teams. There offense was terrible. I think Orton is more than fine. And we can keep looking for a QB. Or maybe Manuel gets better and learns.
  3. I would be pleased with Bradford for a year or two. Probably a two year deal. I think we can still sign Hughes though! Or hope!
  4. Why does it matter who is at home? Totally agree with both. That is funny!
  5. It seems you are not very open minded about Orton vs EJ or don't understand football. At this point in their careers Orton is a much better QB during professional football games!!
  6. Agreed. I think Richardson will be a quality Guard and will be the answer to one of the two G spots. I think Urbik is fine for the other. But it seems it won't happen because Marrone has a hard on against Urbik. So....what is the other Guard answer?? On a similar note. I like Whaley a lot! But Williams was a terrible signing. I think Marrone was in Whaley's ear on this one. His play was very questionable when they signed him....but his health has the same issues as it did when he was drafted. Why pay top money for someone who is questionable at playing AND staying healthy. IR Williams.
  7. Agree that it was good Hackett stuck with the run...even the poor ones up the middle. But glad they stuck with a game plan. Also, your thought about Freddie running first and Spiller running against a tired defense could be a great and simple improvement! I like it a lot!
  8. Couldn't agree more! Silly rabbit.
  9. I once drank enough to say Donald Jones was the best #3 WR in football!
  10. I guarantee they didn't finish 6-9. And disagree wins and losses can be managed by improving the means of how to improve wins....like defense....stopping the run....and stopping the opposition on 3 rd down....all have improved greatly and thusly will improve our win loss record. And it is improving our win loss record already. Go Bills!!!
  11. Just because Fitz wouldn't restructure his contract didn't mean we had to cut him? I think folks get confused thinking the two went hand in hand. IF I was to guess, which means nothing, the Bills went to Fitz to ask him to restructure and things got personal and heated. Fitz wanting out and the Bills not trying hard to get his head on straight and just come back for the contract that was owed. The Bills were in the driver seat and most likely didn't do the driving. Just a guess. AND.........he is only 31! Prime age for a QB!
  12. Most of your comments are accurate, BUT, Denver had an excellent defense when Tebow replaced Orton. The Denver D carried Tebow into the playoffs. I am quite familiar with Orton and his career. But, don't recall why the Broncos got off to a 1-3 or 1-4 start before Orton was replaced with Tebow that year? Kordell Stewart. I don't think that is what we want and might no be the best answer to your question. Agreed!
  13. I enjoy Collinsworth too!
  14. Funny Funny
  15. I don't understands why people think this is the end of the road for EJ. He can still learn and get better. He can learn from a NFL QB who has player 70 games instead of Hackett. He can learn by watching. This is not the end of the world. I personally think this is good for the Bills now and good for EJ later. Hopefully it is a win win! Go Bills!!!
  16. Agreed on that being the Oline we should roll out. It seems to be our best potential, so, let's try it! Marrone sure makes the Oline more difficult that it needs to be considering he is an Oline guru?! Marrone has ego issues. He has short mans disease and is not short. If he is not going to coach the Oline up at least put the best Oline on the field, don't do neither. I like Rinehart too. I don't think it was an option though. Plus, Marrone would have mistreated and misused Rinehart like he does Urbik. I stop listening to your comments when you say to move Glenn to Guard. That is just silly.
  17. Until Graham learns to CATCH the ball he will not play in this League. I still am always shocked that Graham feels necessary to jump and catch all balls in the middle of his chest and he has no skills to catch it like a professional receiver with his hands.
  18. Impressive that nobody thus far has answered the question! Typical of many on this site. I would prefer Rex and Geno because I think Rex is a much better coach than Marrone. However, that is just for this year. EJ may be fine, Geno will not be a serviceable starting NFL QB.
  19. What has anyone seen to think Urbik has not played well? His stats show just fine. I think Marrone and the other coaches have a hard on against him and Whaley likes him. Urbik would solve part of our Guard issue. I would like to see Richardson and Urbik in there! Stats on Urbik don't lie....
  20. I like Schwartz's focus on stopping the run and overall defense....but agree with you. If he could do what he does AND improve adapting during the game, matchups and blitzing he could do something excellent. The talent on this defense has more ability than Schwartz is using. It is bend but don't brake. Too much Jauron ish. Let's see if Schwartz adapts as the year goes on. If so...we should make the playoffs. If not...not so much. Fingers crossed....go Bills!!!
