  1. Totally agree then and now. The trade was very calculated what the FO thought was lower risk for very high reward! Agreed then and now too!
  2. Well played
  3. It my opinion Marrone and Hackett want this personelle to power run. It just doesn't work for us and they can't or won't adapt.
  4. That's because no many Marrone quality coaches are in the NFL.
  5. The difference is Gilmore makes a mistake 2-3 times a game at most and Manuel makes 10 + errors a game. That isn't comparing the good plays they make in a game either.
  6. No facts here but my buddy from Seattle said Harvin was a head case.
  7. Then he should play Urbik that ranked in the top 3rd for Guards each of the last 3 years which is a large sample size. Instead of acting like a child because he doesn't like him or is trying to prove something to Whaley. We play one or two home games a year in bad weather. Cop out.
  8. He went thru 20% of the lineup.....really? If you think you are right why don't you explain how he is using the roster correctly. By maximizing STs and signing snd dressing extra STs because Crossman has been in the bottom 10 in the League for the last decade!
  9. Well said and agree. Stuborness AND failure is when HCs get fired. I do believe this is Marrone's last NFL HC job. He is an epic fail. Ask the analytics department.
  10. The consultants are involved to bring more than information about player personnel. Pegula's aren't professionals in the football world. The consultants are a great idea. You bringing up the QB situation is absolutely narrow minded and either shows your lack of intelligence or eagerness to try to cause problems. They will evaluate all positions in the organization and processes. Not just the GM. Exactly, you need to spend money on the best quality people in your organization from the top down. Like in your scouting departments and into your coaches to train and develop them. Like the Yankees do in baseball. BTW, I do not cheer for the Yanks. But they spend money through thevorgaization and it gets quality long term consistent results! Like the Red Wings in hockey. They need to get the right people in the right seats on the bus starting at the top and working its way down! Consultants and evaluating is a great place to start.
  11. I am sure our analytics department was already aware?!
  12. 9-7 would probably do it. But, more importantly, I want them to play good football. Call good plays, make good decisions, have good game plans. I want the coaches to put the best team on the field and not look like they are trying to out smart everyone. I would like our coaches to AT LEAST be equal to other coaches, I am tired of them bringing us down. It seems like the players have to play great to overcome the coaches short comings. This team has a lot of talent and the coaches don't know how to use it. I want them to look like an NFL caliber team. Seriously, is this too much to ask? Just the fact that he called himself Saint Doug without accomplishing anything ever shows he has an ego problem with NO reason to have one. And his poor decision making proves it.
  13. I strongly don't think Marrone calling the plus would be better. I think Hackett is doing what he wants.
  14. Good original post! Marrone and Hackett just aren't good enough. I hope it doesn't cost Whaley his job because I like most of what he has done. But if he doesn't fire the staff at the end of the season he should probably lose his too.
  15. Sounds like robots. Very well paid robots. We might as well add a monkey to the coaching staff. They can follow direction too.
  16. Totally agree. Its like the coached have little man syndrome, but, they aren't little.
  17. Perfect....agree! And... I would like to see the Bills run some 4 WR sets. I think this would open up passing lanes and room for the RBs and would put the most amount of playmakers on the field at once.
  18. Orton is much better than Manuel right now. If you can't tell you are not being open minded. Orton can complete simple and tougher passes... move the ball...chains...and score points. Manuel struggles with all those. The eye test does it for me too. Orton looks lime an NFL QB and Manuel doesn't. There is a big difference in the two!
  19. That is a good point. But, I still don't think Hackett uses his players well or puts them in positions to succeed. Hackett is not NFL caliber. And, since Marrone doesn't correct him Marrone is just as much at fault. Also, how can Marrone previously be on O line coach and O lineman and for not one but two years the O line is below average. The continued trend I see with Marrone is he is not a strong student of the game and seems to be a poor teacher too. Terrible combo skill set.
  20. I agree with you on Wood too. Chan's offense made the whole O line look good. I can't tell because I am not good at evaluation g the O lone and the Guard play has been poor...but...it seems Wood is not as strong run blocking as pass blocking. Hopefully with better Guard play Wood will play better. Overall he is good enough though.
  21. I am just speculating...but think Marrone was pushing Whaley on this as the perfect fit for his system especially with his run blocking as Marrone wants to run...run....run....accept when we play poor run defenses like Houston.
  22. I don't think it is the only reason...because some have sucked immediately but the changing of coaches and schemes probably doesn't help. Also I believe especially with O linemen they can be products of a system and don't do as well in other systems.
  23. It has been nagging him since College! True!!
